Nice vids been watching a while those motors "one your removing" they use those in hotliners with crazy hand made 16x22 or so 300mph or better if u haven't seen. Google, hotliner fast.
Will be putin same motor in zd racing 9116 :D Iv seen a guy with similar setup...this will be beast :D Nice build, it looks like this motor had more power in reserve than could be used ;)
I’m thinking bout doing the max 6 and 2200kv hobbywing thanks for showing a video of it but how does this motor compare to stock and max 6? How does this combo compare to both stock esc and motor?
All that aluminum and you still have the stock bellcrank and steering linkage?🙂🤪lol. That was one of the first things I changed. The stock bellcrank/servo saver is horrible. How much weight has all that added to the truck?
Exocaged RC stick to the stock bell crank budd unless you want a locked bell crank. That will be the only reason I would go with metal bellcrank. I had gpm and hot racing bellcrank, non of them last that long. Very disappointed. Plastic works better. Lol
You sure you had them installed right? Mine's over a year old now the linkage is rigid.... stock plastic linkage flexes, and the servo saver wears out after about a month being plastic and it's not adjustable like the other aluminum
philip bender Only the plastic bellcrank bro. Everything else is aluminium. I have aluminium bellcrank. one day on the track and it is worn out already. It would never centre. Plastic bellcrank is as good or probably better and cheaper than aluminium. If I do hit big jumps or crash hard enough, I would like the plastic to break than breaking the servo.
Thank you for an awsome UDR video. I am sure its been mentioned erlier, but i have to ask What electronic setup ya using, besides the 4274/2200. What ESC ? And was this on 6s or? Thank you, reason i ask i had the plessure to test a UDR today, bonestock on 6s, but slow.
At least you 'jump' your truck within reason. I get sick watching clearly emotionally disturbed neanderthals launch their RCs 30-ft high and then be all bemused because their RC is busted to sh*t after crashing back to earth. If I had my way I'd have them strapped into an old junker car and launched 300-ft in the air and similarly land without a ramp or cushioning.
Good vedio budd. Thanks again. Taking the temp readings would have been great budd, would be awsome comparison. I think that’s where the major difference is with all these 2200 kv motors.
This makes me want to finish my truck!!! I bought one a month ago (couldn't say no after watching your videos) and I tore it apart. Painting it up as BJ Baldwin's truck. Just have to put it together now and start jumping!!!!🤪🤪🤪
May I be bother to ask how much UDR weighs? I'll be putting that exact motor in an Infraction, so just trying to get a slight idea! Fun video, sir! Have a great weekend!
The UDR just looks so at home on that diamond. It's absolutely in its element. I think it's was your udr videos that were the 1st time I ever came across your channel when Traxxas released it. We were enjoying the footage while waiting for them to arrive in Australia, my boss got the UDR and I got the Erevo 2.0.. ahh memories. Cheers mate 👍
Man this thing jumps good, balance looks great, drifts were awesome. I wonder wich one of the slash4x4or udr give best perfomance on short course truck race? And by the way do you know a very very durable tire or weels and tire to use on a trx4? I mean hard rubber that have decent grip, no rolling on the side. Or wheels I have hyrax tire, canyon trail tire, kyosho cross bound tire and Here is my point of view: The grip is great for lots of different terrain. But all of them dying too quick! A set of 4 tires is so expensive compare to 1/1 scale. I sometimes feel like less traction on hard surface is more fun if the circuit is too easy for those impressive gripy tires. And if i had some harder rubber that last 4 x longer and grip less for 1/5 the price i will be so happy. I wonder if someone can do a 1/10 tire as hard as 1/1 scale that last as long as real life tire. Or tiny bit less.
You’re making me want to buy a UDR 🤣
I use Hobbywing for everything!

I bought the sbr Instead of udr. Haven’t ran it yet. Waiting on new 4s packs
Can you please explain the KV numbers to me, The difference between a crawler and a stadium truck type motor. Thank you
Will be putin same motor in zd racing 9116 :D Iv seen a guy with similar setup...this will be beast :D Nice build, it looks like this motor had more power in reserve than could be used ;)
i don't like how traxxas mounts their pinion gears, new method should definitely be high priority

RC car & softball fields go together like Coca-Cola & Nacho Cheese Doritos 👍🏾🤙🏾
this truck mix between baja and traxxas slash? nice video my bro
Evil Withen it’s the UDR. It’s neither of that you mention. Solid rear axle, independent front suspension and a trophy truck chassis.
Pretty nice, I was some kind of looking to buy a similar motor and sure I see can handle. Nice video
My Losi Baja Rey can take the UDR!👺
Idk man my UDR is pretty slow! 😂
@@ExocagedRC nice vid!
Well I do have the two three s lipo so
I love my UDR. Maybe I’ll fit it out in all vitavon when ever I hit the lottery..lol
All that aluminum and you still have the stock bellcrank and steering linkage?🙂🤪lol. That was one of the first things I changed. The stock bellcrank/servo saver is horrible. How much weight has all that added to the truck?
philip bender yeah idk why I haven’t changed it out either.

Less heat then stock?
Not really
@@ExocagedRC i am wondering if i can put castle 1717 1650kv inside.
Where you running in 4s or 6s??
Nice video!.. what type of battery are you using? You didn't have a link for that ;)
In this one I’m using a Gens Ace 5000mah 6S. It’s a longer soft case version
Thank you for an awsome UDR video. I am sure its been mentioned erlier, but i have to ask

I love watching the UDR on a baseball field, on all that loose dirt
Nice drifting
Thank you

lol....." I need to stop "
Surprisingly fast. Nice looking whip, pretty strong no damage after the failed jumps. Nice work 💯💯
Awesome run bro 👍🏻
Where do u guys buy the hobbywing combo, True banggod, ebay or Amazon? Please let me know cuz I wanna buy one
4s?6s lipo?
Looks plenty fast for a fun time, how was the run time?
I got probably 20+ minutes driving around recording and just general messing around.
Lenth
This motors an animal. Have one and had it in my arrma outcast for a while... its now in my buggy for speed runs 🤣 too nuts otherwise
Wicked 💯🖒NC MOUNTAINS 🏞
Are there other options in regards to motors?
any 1/8 motor fits
Hi, have your rear differential open or locked? What is better?
That explains heat battery issues very cool I'm going to try to get by with that
You must have $50,000 wrapped up in RC

She moves!
IKR, goes like a stabbed rat!

A bone stock UDR weighs about 13 pounds. His UDR probably weighs pretty close to 17 with the aluminum upgrades.
I really enjoy your videos hope I can get in on your next give away
First day with a new UDR? 😝 Just kidding.
This hobbywing set can run 4S?
Joe, you was beating the shit out of it, But I enjoyed it lol
Cool ripping and nice video and RC
