Today car racer Taiwan Jimmy Lin Tesla car accident result as example...If the driver's death cause by burning, not because of a car crash! Says Tesla batteries are cheaper than gasoline. What is the use? To be honest, when Tesla went public in the United States many years ago, there were very few cases of car lithium battery fires, but at that time American firefighters have commented that lithium battery fires are terrible and difficult to put out. The news was only listed for 2 days before it was removed from the news site. Because it affects Tesla's sales. My husband wants to buy a Tesla, but I stop him from buying it. We argued for a few days. He said American Firefighters' comments were wrong. Now this car accident, my husband has nothing to say.
the launch mode seems like its being held back. The P100D w more weight, a bit more HP.. can do mid 2's.. this car has less weight, better front motor, a bit less HP.. .. i'm sure they will have a performance upgrade to unless the launch a bit quicker. .. btw: The Old P100D did not have the trap speed as this basic LR.. meaning the 2021 has serious power.. for not being Plaid. Have LR on order for Jan 2020 delivery.
Great overview, thanks. The car looks great, you're going to really enjoy it. I mildly dislike the 21" wheels, so I ended up ordering the standard wheels. The white fake leather looks great - I've ordered the black, maybe I should reconsider.
It is an amazing car. I can see why one would not want the big wheels. Decreased ride quality, and the matte finish is hard to keep clean. Black is the way I would go. Easier to keep clean
the interior just looks amazing, the yoke might take some time to get used to, but just the way humanity got used to steering wheels im sure they can get used to yoke steering wheels.
Or maybe adding the yoke steerer as an option to the model 3, but keep the stalks and add real click buttons, I wonder if someone could make a third party yoke with real buttons
Continues to sell so they must be doing something well. I’m actually glad they kept the same look but updated the technology. I have been waiting for this update.
The design is timeless and looks better than other 4 door sedan plus has the lowest drag coefficient .. tough to improve on something when it’s that close to perfection
do you remember if you can override the traffic lights with button on the yoke or MUST the accelerator be pressed? good video btw, your channel will get alot of subs
Hi there… while watching the video I’d like to ask how quiet the Tesla S is at highway speeds… 70+ … I’ve heard Tesla’s aren’t quiet and a luxury car in my view should be so.. I would expect it to have more sound deadening materials than a less expensive model and at least as much as it’s rivals at this price point… can you share ? Thanks
@@NAkrishoncars that’s a killer for me… I think Tesla completely overlooked the importance of luxury in marketing their products as luxurious to be honest.. from fit and finish issues to loudness to bland interiors .. they fall short.. just being electrified doesn’t qualify as luxury their just different.. and now the big boys are coming for them and their gonna eat into the market space I think quite a bit.. the bmw interior and Mercedes interiors for example are gorgeous and upscale and Lexus is coming out with product soon as well.. I am interested in Rivian but they don’t have the service infrastructure near me perhaps I wait on Lexus.. will see.. have a great day!
On one hand I like how Tesla is bold to try new things & do things differently that help improve the user experience but on the otherhand they make some dumb decisions that aren't really better or in some cases worse than the traditional way like removing stalks for things like gear-shifting and turn signals. Like always this is a nice video.
@@NAkrishoncars ah ok. He’s definitely mistaken. I’m actually contemplating delaying delivery till oct/November to get a 2022 build for resale value. Car is beautiful though, unsure if I can wait
Thanks for the video, but: 1. Waddya mean there isnt much new at the rear of the car?!?! The rear now is wider than prior MSs and the tires and wheels on rear are bigger than up front. 2. the seats are Vegan 'leather' and 3. what is that defect in the middle of the yoke? Is that the infamous 'worm' i have heard about on the TMC forum?
Alright let me break this down by part First #1, only the Plaid is wider. The Long Range, that I tested, is the same width as prior Model S 2) Yes, the seats are faux leather. I stated leatherette in the video, the term for fake leather 3) I did notice that, but obviously was not going to point out a rumour in the video. After some research, I do believe that this Model S is plagued with the "worm." Tesla is known for its build quality defects, I expexted some in this tester
@@NAkrishoncars Thanks for your reply. But i hang out on the TMC forum for MS delivery updates and my understanding is both versions are wide. Kind of makes sense since that would simplify manufacture. but, maybe you are right. I'll doublecheck on the forum. Did you actually measure the width on a long range and a Plaid? And did you look on the tires to see exactly what size they were on front and back?
@@NAkrishoncars OK - I got three answers on the forum and all agreed that long range body is same width as Plaid. and they seem to agree that tires on the two models are the same as well. Here is one reply: The Plaid having the wide body is a common misconception, as most refresh MS' that people have seen are Plaids. The bodies are the same width, and so are the tires for the respective 19" and 21" wheels. 255/285 for the 19s, and 265/295 for the Arachnids.
Interesting...... because yes the tires are wider but if you look at width dimensions a 2020 Tesla Model S is 77.3 inches wide and a 2021 Tesla Model s is also 77.3 inches wide. Suprising that the forums don't mention that
@@NAkrishoncars Please keep in mind that Tesla doesnt follow the 'model year' approach like legacy auto. Tesla makes small changes continuously and sometimes big changes. On the forum we call the new MS the 'Refreshed MS'. And yes, in early 2021 Tesla was still delivering pre-Refresh MSs and folks would call those 2021s since they were delivered in 2021. But, i have downloaded a recent Owners Manual on August 3 that applies to the Refresh MS. It says the width, excluding mirrors, is now 78.2. I will try to paste in some numbers from the owners manual, but since that is pdf the text may not line up too good: Overall Width (including mirrors) Overall Width (excluding mirrors) 86.2 78.2 2,189 1,987

Yea
He lives one year ahead of us hahahaha
And he says it twice
Thinking this was something said intentionally to get ppl to comment. 😆
Ha ha
The wheels man, sick! Love it, looks perfect!
Yes it does!
This car is worth buying simply due to the fact that it can play Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
Pro tip: DON't spec the 21 inch wheels. Buy these later, otherwise you pay for 19 wheels which you dont get. ;)
Nice Krish!
Thanks dude
Does the map have satellite view?
Yes
Doesn’t the arachnid wheels give you less range

Dude, appreciate the video, but clean the damn car before you start taping!
Great review Krish. Thank you for being kind, on time, and quick with the review on the car.

my plaid comes next week! excited for my first car
Hello my dude! You got the upgraded wheels so range drops to 375 (which is still excellent)
Yep it does
Is there a headphone plug for the backseat screen?
Negative
the interior just looks amazing, the yoke might take some time to get used to, but just the way humanity got used to steering wheels im sure they can get used to yoke steering wheels.
stop kidding yourself silly fanboy, the woke steering was a dumb idea
4500 for those ugly wheels hell no get some custom 3 piece wheels
Can’t disagree!
Get that front licence plate 📴
5:54 There is no leather in a Tesla. Thank god. You mention the word leather 4 times in the video - just an FYI.. No animal skins.
Idk I just don’t see teslas as luxury cars at all it’s kind of it’s own niche
Clean the car wtf
love the car, what do you do for work? nice garder in the background to bad you cant grow some tesla
10 year old car just with a new steering wheel and flipped screen
Your not wrong. I strongly state that Tesla needs to totally redesign this car. It is falling behind
Or maybe adding the yoke steerer as an option to the model 3, but keep the stalks and add real click buttons, I wonder if someone could make a third party yoke with real buttons

Beautiful, it s Crem interior? Or White?
Cream
Ew who gets old man beige...
black wheel + white color = best
Yup
curious the insurance on this and what you do for work
Is the visibility in the rear view mirror good? I know the model Y one didn’t look very good.
I think it is good, for me, I didn't find an issue with rear visibility.
Good video, but you forgot to show the back seat console with added cup holders and additional storage.
My bad
do you remember if you can override the traffic lights with button on the yoke or MUST the accelerator be pressed? good video btw, your channel will get alot of subs
Accel must be pressed
Not sure but I think they restrict drag strip mode to actual drag strips. YMMV
That is false... drag strip mode can be used on all surfaces
The yoke's "not too bad". Great.....
Thx for sharing & congrats 👏🏾. Was that the beige interior?
Yes

In my testing, the car is quite loud at highway speeds. Comparable to the likes of a Kia K5 in my opinion. Even the Accord and Camry are much better.

Lexus will be solid. They are always a little late, but when they bring a product to market, it is always a rock solid car. Lexus never disappoints
Wheels look sick but then you lose quite a bit of performance
That is definitely true….. very important point
At last LONG RANGE not a PLAID!!!
Most model s buyers are going to buy the LR, not the plaid, so it helps to have a review of it

Do both the front and rear doors have dual rubber door seals?
Does only the front have the thicker window glass or rear as well?
Both have seals and thicker glass, but front is thicker
@@NAkrishoncars thanks! I have been told this car is a lot quieter than the 3P I had before and I’m excited to experience that.

Try to find a used one nearby. Anything from 2012-2020. Rear leg room is the same

Looking an interior like this, makes other cars " very Vintage"
The same plastic CHEAP premium monkey business Ahahahahahahabahahahahahahahahahahah the ZOMBIES THE indoctrinated ZZZZZZZZOMBIESZZZZZZZZZZZZZ love it.
The frunk space is also consumed by the MASSIVE HEPA filter
It is majority the motor. HEPA filter is small
The yoke should be optional.
100% should be
Im still not sure about the yoke.
I can see why, hard to get used to. I still prefer the steering wheel
they finally made the interior right
They still have a ways to go…. It’s just not as luxurious as the competition
