At the 1st anniversary for AC6 I came back to play through the story campaign to quench my nostalgia, only to realized I'm putting hours on designing new mechs and putting decals so I can play ranked matches again. I forgot how much I love this game and I really hope we get a DLC or an expansion announced at TGS 2024, which is at the end of this month.
And while they are at it, fix firearm spec. Make it contribute more to lock speed and not the 95% dependency to fcs lock speed. That, or make firearm spec affect the precision of your shots.
Hope they add more parts like they did with the lamm update. Plasma generators so I can have purple booster/AA/PA/TS effects More extensions Buff the ludlow Buff target tracking on light and mid wieght arms.
One of the big things I want to see is parts being buffed to be a sidegrade to existing meta parts. Viable alternate options for stuff like etsujins or basho arms or mind alpha core would help add some more variety to good builds in a way that doesn't have much of a chance at making the meta any less fun.
Things I want to see: - More arms with Melee Speciialization to rival Basho. It doesn't need to be 158, just higher than 130 or 140. Right now the next highest is 117 on the VP-46D. Please, for the love of god let me have more melee options than Basho arms. - Netcode please. Please, the phase kicks and lasers are brutal. - I would love a projectile speed buff for kinetics. Long Range is so difficult to play - but I'm worried about Kites & JPN kites dominating everything and REQUIRING you to play heavier to beat them. Please let me engage enemies at more than 200m away (without missiles), Fromsoft - Vertical Missiles and Split Missiles just kinda suck. - Shields are so much of a Win Condition it's nuts. What is it, Six feathers on the meta shield right now? Six consecutive seconds of "take 75% less impact and 65% less damage"? I almost wonder if hurting the cooling rate would keep them more in line - but there are only a pair that really see use, so it might be a case of "buff the rest, lower cooling on the main one for its 1s Initial Guard privileges"
There's a couple of things that can be done with the verts. Apparently there is a hidden stat that says "When missile is within X range of target, stop tracking and just fly in that direction." Decreasing the cut off range is generally considered the best idea. Hell, keep them crappy, just let me fire almost twice as many.

They are easy to use and parry with as well as have decent not IG stats, therefore they should have a lower ceiling of performance. What I personally want; Proximity deployment for pulse shield launcher. Having them do literally nothing if the initial projectile physically hit the enemy sucks. Give Kyorai the same airburst as the Therapist. Give 6-cell plasma missile a reason to exist. Give the 760PR a better reason to use its charge shots than just "it looks cool". Give Iridium faster shooting animation. The fact that it feels just as hefty and cumbersome to use as the fucking Dizzy despite being a fraction of its size, weight, and firepower is absurd. Give vert missiles AoE. Cmon man its the easiest fix ever that they *still* refused to do for some reason. Make the container missile last longer. The dont necessarily have to shoot more missile. It's my anti-kite and anti-dodge-spam/pixie tool that's boosted by Energy Spec and my build would actually crumble without it)

last one was exactly 2 weeks from hidden patch to actual patch, so expect it to be within that time period. I think the fastest was 4 days after hidden patch to public.
tbh kinda hoping they do a no overload + constant en recovery regulation like fA 1.15 (or just make the netcode not irritating/give us defender-sided hitreg) also if they could give us engagement ranges larger than a bee's dick in a game where OB is about as free as it was in AC2, that'd be great.
I think shields are fine, except PS, it just does everything as good or better than every other shield. It not only chokes builds out, it chokes other shields out due to high output with no drawbacks. Otherwise, I'm fine with nothing else nerfed. Honestly, only Explosive Thrower needs a buff tbh.
Would prefer other shields get a buff than a PS nerf. PS is the ONLY viable shield not because it's the best one it's because the others are just bad. Try running SUQ5 and you'll see what I mean. I know you enjoy the 1.6 buckler so you kinda get what I mean here. Would rather other shields be brought up to 61PS levels so we have more shield variety.
No. 61ps literally prevents viability of all stance weapons. what are you talking about? None of the shields should be that strong. None. Absolutely none. Bucklers are balanced because of their poor cooling and heat generation.
I have actually found great success with the Explosive thrower. It’s definitely the anti-meta pick as it is mainly thriving on other people not knowing what to do against it, also most people don’t know that the explosive thrower is actually classed as a ranged weapon in the code and not a melee weapon (which means melee spec does not effect it)
One thing I really hope and want to see (wont happening anyway, but still xD)... is an official co-op mission mode where you need a full team against secret bosses, that are way too strong and almost impossible to beat alone, like: -Moonlight powered IBIS -Coral powered Balteus -The Big Satelite (that one that appears at the beginning) -Nineball (with AC6 parts, but custom modified) and after beating him, Nineball Seraph appears, like Allmind did -Huge Mealworm (like the Ice Worm :D) -Xylem as a whole boss -00-ARETHA -The AC from the upcoming shortfilm

Would like to see some weapons get an increase in velocity. Make long range viable like in previous games. Flares or the ability to shoot down missles would be nice like previous games too.
Most of the Kenetic weapons need a buff of some sort to be viable. The vertical missiles need to be useable. They should also buff the weapons like Napalm, Container missiles, and floating turrets, etc. Lots of fun weapons that can be updated to be more viable. Even better if they add new shit.
I hope for more frames and parts maybe a new FCS and other internals as well. Plus just more weapons I already found all the hidden weapons and parts plus bought all the stuff from the shop I have plenty of credits to buy whatever they add to the shop so I hope they add more stuff to the shop especially internals..maybe a generator that can make loader-4 use lots of the late game energy weapons while not making it so heavy it couldn’t move or something else..I don’t know just an idea but new internals to work and tweak stuff with would be cool. Maybe something that would speed up weapon heating or other things that make status changes more measurable..
A couple new parts would be amazing. A new melee, maybe a new RJ or something. Not getting my hopes up though, still curious to see what changes they make!
My request buff the shade eye and Hal heads so more players use it we need more then just 6 heads used over and over again. Leave the zimms alone they all ready took so many nerfs that its hurt there viability in pve. buff melee weapons in general
I think buffing the velocity of bullets is needed for rifles (for the love of God, buff the burst ran-rifle HARD), and change the ricochet mechanic so we can actually do damage beyond shotgun range. But, I definitely think the LRB needs a nerf, it just does too much damage that can't be dodged. And maybe do something about shields I think, right now it feels like they can just invalidate other builds, and you may as well just sit there and hope you don't run into the same guy next match.
There are a lot of parts that need buffs and very few parts that need nerfs (Harris charged shot impact is silly), but what I think needs to happen is an overhaul of the melee system (tracking and impact are issues) and an elimination of some of the animation cancels (back weapon reload) that change the behavior of stagger.
Oh and fix assault armor pulse armor. Assault armor needs to do 3k impact, and pulse armor needs to not drop you on activation. The flugel needs faster qb reload (0.4) to be viable as well as a bit faster boost speed, the alula needs a boost speed reduction to prevent it having 4 S tier performance stats. Its making many other boosters irrelevant. melee thrusting in general needs to be sped up or lower en cost across the board and many of the lunges need ministuns added/animations sped up, it was not rebalanced after speeding up lightweights to the point that it no longer can even catch up to many light weight builds.

I really hope they address the most fundamental issues with the game, ocellus close range tracking being too strong resulting in a bipolar meta of close range high impact heavy or kite so you never get in ocellus range. There is no bqlancing the viento, etsijin, zimmerman, etc until this is fixed. Second, address the shields. The 61PS shield is ridiculous and needs a heat deploy stat swap with the 61PB
Not holding my breath. I’m a recovering copium addict, as far as I know or care Fromsoft got what they needed out of AC6 and are full steam ahead on the next one. They left AC6 pvp in a laughable state because the flaws inherent to it aren’t able to be fixed with a simple patch. It is what it is.

The issue isn't poor build variety. We actually see a lot of different builds at top level play. The issue is poor PART variety. There are maybe one or two good parts per category. For example, out of Turner, Scudder, Ransetsu AR, Ludlow, Chang Chen, Attache and Etsujin ONLY Etsujin has a place in the meta. See the issue? These are all rapid fire kinetic weapons and only ONE has any kind of niche in the 1.06.1 metagame.

Also, you're right, that IS the biggest issue. top 100 is filled with Zimmermans, NOT because the gun is broken, but because OTHER weapons should be better. And partly that's due to the fact that the other what should be longer range options just don't have any range to them. I mean the Walt and the Talbot would be the FCS is that you would use with all of these and why not just choose the exogen over the other ones if you're trying to be meta

Yes, some parts in older game were very good, and highly favoured but it was not the hard counter we see in this game, which was started in ACV (don't get me started on that game with the arms determing fire rate cheese). You've never play the old games competitively but feel the need to spout false narrative. The game is fundamentally broken by bad game design. E.g, HW were always OP due to high defense and weapon loadout, the only draw back they had were turning issues, which made them fair for lw/mw builds. We voiced our opinion about it from the start and said that the game will be broken because of the design choices that were made. We said that HW will dominate and be the meta, you and the others told us to shut up and now everything we said has come to pass. You're not a bad guy, its just a little irritating that you think you're opinions are more valuable then the guy's that grew playing this game.
Homie I ran a For Answer tournament yesterday. Build has ALWAYS mattered. Maybe not as much as it does in 6 but you can't put two players of equal skill level against eachother and expect the outcome to be skill dependent if one is playing an optimized cqc LW or backpedal HW and the other is playing Stasis.

Try out Armored core Verdict Day. Stagger was best implimented in that game imo. Basically you had a stability stat for your build and Weapons had an impact stat. if you get hit with a high impact sniper that exceeds your stability you would get a defense debuff for 1-2 seconds and take increased damage. For even higher levels of stagger your boosters would cut out and cams glitch out but that was only if you got hit with something really big. In both cases its your fault if you get hit and staggered in the moment rather than needing to stop the flow of pvp and retreat / hide to make a stagger bar go down. AC6 stagger fucks up the pace of 1v1 fights for those fighting around that system. boring gameplay that encourages running and AP lead disengagement in builds that can do so too easily in one sided build matchups. AP lead shouldn't be % based either cuz then lightweights have a defacto win against heavies and then there's no turn speed so heavies are more dangerous without % ap lead and.... there's a lot of interconnected problems with AC 6 PVP that will need a whole ass restructuring to take all that imbalancing into account. very deep rooted issues.

@@Supercohboy the charge shot deals less damage than the nebula *and* overheats the gun with just one shots when nebula gets to fire twice.
Fingers crossed we get the changes we need, a couple more parts, and a teaser for more content to come now that we're post-ER DLC.

I felt my heart quicken at “DUCKETT BUFF”. Honestly coquillette are fantastic for stagger between QB. Please please give us ballistic buffs.

Huge news, glad to hear we're getting a patch. It's pretty hard to watch when you talk over the other guy though.
Most of the Kenetic weapons need a buff of some sort to be viable. The vertical missiles need to be useable. They should also buff the weapons like Napalm, Container missiles, and floating turrets, etc. Lots of fun weapons that can be updated to be more viable.
Even better if they add new shit.
Lets hope mellee gets a buff vs shields its all i need (plus a small etsujin nerf)
I hope for more frames and parts maybe a new FCS and other internals as well. Plus just more weapons I already found all the hidden weapons and parts plus bought all the stuff from the shop I have plenty of credits to buy whatever they add to the shop so I hope they add more stuff to the shop especially internals..maybe a generator that can make loader-4 use lots of the late game energy weapons while not making it so heavy it couldn’t move or something else..I don’t know just an idea but new internals to work and tweak stuff with would be cool. Maybe something that would speed up weapon heating or other things that make status changes more measurable..

My request buff the shade eye and Hal heads so more players use it we need more then just 6 heads used over and over again. Leave the zimms alone they all ready took so many nerfs that its hurt there viability in pve. buff melee weapons in general
I think buffing the velocity of bullets is needed for rifles (for the love of God, buff the burst ran-rifle HARD), and change the ricochet mechanic so we can actually do damage beyond shotgun range. But, I definitely think the LRB needs a nerf, it just does too much damage that can't be dodged. And maybe do something about shields I think, right now it feels like they can just invalidate other builds, and you may as well just sit there and hope you don't run into the same guy next match.
There are a lot of parts that need buffs and very few parts that need nerfs (Harris charged shot impact is silly), but what I think needs to happen is an overhaul of the melee system (tracking and impact are issues) and an elimination of some of the animation cancels (back weapon reload) that change the behavior of stagger.

Oh and fix assault armor pulse armor. Assault armor needs to do 3k impact, and pulse armor needs to not drop you on activation.
The flugel needs faster qb reload (0.4) to be viable as well as a bit faster boost speed, the alula needs a boost speed reduction to prevent it having 4 S tier performance stats. Its making many other boosters irrelevant. melee thrusting in general needs to be sped up or lower en cost across the board and many of the lunges need ministuns added/animations sped up, it was not rebalanced after speeding up lightweights to the point that it no longer can even catch up to many light weight builds.

I told all the naysayers, they weren't doing aything due to the whole elden ring DLC. Not because they gave up on ac6.
I love AC, but i am sick of seeing HBPs with Alula that are faster than everything...and your saying dont nerf that? The things that are overtuned need tuned down. What we need is a range and targeting rework, so engagement ranges actually matter.

I really hope they address the most fundamental issues with the game, ocellus close range tracking being too strong resulting in a bipolar meta of close range high impact heavy or kite so you never get in ocellus range. There is no bqlancing the viento, etsijin, zimmerman, etc until this is fixed. Second, address the shields. The 61PS shield is ridiculous and needs a heat deploy stat swap with the 61PB

Not holding my breath. I’m a recovering copium addict, as far as I know or care Fromsoft got what they needed out of AC6 and are full steam ahead on the next one. They left AC6 pvp in a laughable state because the flaws inherent to it aren’t able to be fixed with a simple patch. It is what it is.

as long as it doesn't ruin it for the pve front cause nerfing pve cause of pvp complaints is just bs cause tbh i have minimal interest nor care for the pvp front in ac6 its a pve first and a pvp last....also don't advocate for nerfs cause its easier to buff cause nerfing something doesn't fix underperforming parts it just takes away and adds nothing. Seriously idiots who cry nerf first need to learn that nerfs fix nothing it only compounds and creates a deeper rooted meta and ends up making the game worse.

Hover Mode was a terrible addition, if it's nerfed into the ground maybe we'll get tetras able to use back weapons without freezing anymore.

Have you been ever with a matchup from a high skilled lamm player? They are hell to play with. Catch them? Sure but EN is almost to zero when you get near them. Plus they spam missiles forcing you to qb while AB.
Plus that tetra whip has godlike tracking. Sure you can bait it out but as ive said. You'll be peppered with missiles and no en to dodge

@@Lemongrass_gaming we don't know that for certain. They haven't released an armored core game for almost a decade by the time AC6 was released. It's a whole new Fromsoft, which means there's a better chance for DLC over an entirely new game.

I'm sorry but you are literally advocating for poor balancing nobody wants that. I agree that things need to be probably buffed a little bit The bad the super bad unplayable shit needs to probably a little bit of a buff. But we do not need one and two build metas. Those builds become meta because of the easiest to use not because you're the highest skilled player. Now will the high skill players use meta builds yes but they would be good even if they weren't using that build
The issue isn't poor build variety. We actually see a lot of different builds at top level play. The issue is poor PART variety. There are maybe one or two good parts per category. For example, out of Turner, Scudder, Ransetsu AR, Ludlow, Chang Chen, Attache and Etsujin ONLY Etsujin has a place in the meta. See the issue? These are all rapid fire kinetic weapons and only ONE has any kind of niche in the 1.06.1 metagame.
@@strikerhutassa @5:16 a Duckett/Coquillet and Sanpu buff would be amazing, even in the context of early-game PvE bossfight viability. Also, you're right, that IS the biggest issue. top 100 is filled with Zimmermans, NOT because the gun is broken, but because OTHER weapons should be better. Increasing at least 3 parts' viability per category would be a great start to improving the meta.

And partly that's due to the fact that the other what should be longer range options just don't have any range to them. The exigence range isn't much shorter than those and so what's the point in choosing those when the FCS's that are good are better at mid and close range anyway. I mean the Walt and the Talbot would be the FCS is that you would use with all of these and why not just choose the exogen over the other ones if you're trying to be meta
Bro, what are you talking about?!!! AC has always been a skill beat build game. Not the build trumps skill your lying about!! Yes, some parts in older game were very good, and highly favoured but it was not the hard counter we see in this game, which was started in ACV (don't get me started on that game with the arms determing fire rate cheese). You've never play the old games competitively but feel the need to spout false narrative. The game is fundamentally broken by bad game design. E.g, HW were always OP due to high defense and weapon loadout, the only draw back they had were turning issues, which made them fair for lw/mw builds. We voiced our opinion about it from the start and said that the game will be broken because of the design choices that were made. We said that HW will dominate and be the meta, you and the others told us to shut up and now everything we said has come to pass. You're not a bad guy, its just a little irritating that you think you're opinions are more valuable then the guy's that grew playing this game.
Homie I ran a For Answer tournament yesterday. Build has ALWAYS mattered. Maybe not as much as it does in 6 but you can't put two players of equal skill level against eachother and expect the outcome to be skill dependent if one is playing an optimized cqc LW or backpedal HW and the other is playing Stasis.

@@Spootprime yes I know it’s a core mechanic lmao it’s how some weapons function but it’s by no means a good mechanic it takes control out of the players hands and is made worse by the netcode of the game favoring a majority of attackers side hits
Try out Armored core Verdict Day. Stagger was best implimented in that game imo.
Basically you had a stability stat for your build and Weapons had an impact stat. if you get hit with a high impact sniper that exceeds your stability you would get a defense debuff for 1-2 seconds and take increased damage.
For even higher levels of stagger your boosters would cut out and cams glitch out but that was only if you got hit with something really big. In both cases its your fault if you get hit and staggered in the moment rather than needing to stop the flow of pvp and retreat / hide to make a stagger bar go down. AC6 stagger fucks up the pace of 1v1 fights for those fighting around that system. boring gameplay that encourages running and AP lead disengagement in builds that can do so too easily in one sided build matchups.
AP lead shouldn't be % based either cuz then lightweights have a defacto win against heavies and then there's no turn speed so heavies are more dangerous without % ap lead and....
there's a lot of interconnected problems with AC 6 PVP that will need a whole ass restructuring to take all that imbalancing into account. very deep rooted issues.
