    I've started making scrunchies this way now, and it's so much easier than trying to get the 2 raw ends of fabric to look neat squished in together! Thanks hon.

    Thank you!! Best tutorial I have seen by far. I made the most beautiful scrunchie. It looks high end and cost me pennies. I tied the elastic in a tight knot instead of the zig zag stitch (that worked better for me). I am subscribed !

      To order this type of fabric you can look for either “satin polyester” or “silk satin”, You could try looking on the website Minerva, I haven’t ordered from them yet but they have lots of reviews for their fabrics online.

      Back stitching is important so that the stitches don't come undone, it's a way of securing your stitching. Usually you would always backstitch at the beginning and at the end of every row of stitching so that your seams don't unravel. Hope that helps!

      Hi I've just seen your comment! I used a standard size needle however a smaller needle also works well for delicate satin fabrics. I hope that helps!

    I have a question! How do you "hide" the final stitch?

      Hi, great question, so if you use a sewing machine for the final stitch it will be visible. If you don't want the stitches to show then you can sew it by hand using a "ladder stitch". Hope that helps!

    How many scrunchies can we make from a one meter cloth

      It depends on the measurements you're using and how wide your fabric is. With these measurements, you would be able to make about 8 per meter

      Hi, I used a non stretch satin, but stretch satin would work as well, you can pretty much use any kind of fabric to make scrunchies ☺️

      Hi, I just saw your comment! At the moment I use “Janome 423S”. It’s not a fancy sewing machine, it’s absolutely fine though :) However if you know you’re going to be sewing a lot then you might want to invest in a more expensive machine.

      @@lalithanandhi930 Great question. Etsy is really good for buying fabrics online. You can find pretty much any type of fabric on Etsy, just type in the kind of fabric you’re looking for, you can source small quantities as well as larger wholesale quantities from different vendors :)

      No worries, there are lots of methods for sewing :) Have you tried it? Once I made a few I found that it's the easiest way for me but that's just my personal preference.

      Hi Yvonne, it varies depending on what type of fabric I use and the size of the scrunchie, so anywhere from £8-16. Hope that helps!
