- Today I’m at Toyota of Wilsonville in Wilsonville Oregon ! first off disclaimer, I did not test drive this vehicle I test drove the SR5 white one. this is way too nice of a truck to have random people. Just test driving beautiful ordered vehicles especially a fully loaded one ! This is the nicest truck on the market if you ask me ! This was my first time seeing a fully loaded Trd sport 2024 Toyota Tacoma, and whether you like the four-cylinder or not, the new Tacoma is here and it’s here to stay Lol 😂Please check out multiple videos on that truck. It’s now lifted. Also I’m going over the options in this video. Don’t listen. I have purchased a new Tacoma every 2 years since 2004 and my 2023 will be last last one with these insane prices. I have a 2023 TRD Off Road loaded with leather seats and sun roof I purchased for $47 k. I will now get a Nissan Frontier Pro X for a more reasonable price.
The same here , I bought the 2023 Off Road and I wont be getting a newer one I think the 2023 was the Zenith of the Tacoma . Can you imagine prices going up 4 K a year from here on out

@@littlekennytv5668Nissan has bullet proof box frame and suspension. VQ engine tech is also bullet proof. So far I've seen and heard of 4 of these new tacos blow the front differential. Plus from my view the tacoma has the cheapest looking interior with hard plastics everywhere. The back seat is unusable now. I would not touch a taco until we at least see what toyota does to fix the front diff. Or how they might try to cover up a design flaw.
Just let you know My 2019 Pro 4 X has 8 way power driver seat and also has power seat on the passenger side. Full leather, heated seats, rear locker, 10 speaker stereo with sub, sunroof etc... loaded 35K out the door. Never heard of a F-alpha Frontier blow its transfer case to pieces on a little ice. Toyota needs to prove that this new gen isn't just a cheap plastic piece of crap with an insane MSRP.

$56k and it still has SIX BLANK BUTTONS on left side of the steering wheel and the center console. You will probably need to pay $70k for a Trail Hunter to have all the buttons functional. 😃

MSRP on my 2023 trdSporti bought in Aug 23 with all extras (Minus roof & pass side E_seat) was 42,000.00. I could see 46-48,000 tops.

ZR2 starts at $48k. $52k with a sunroof and the camera system. It's the best bang for your buck for a mid sized off roader. Best looking too

Yeah they are but I just don’t like the canyon. It’s too fancy to luxurious I would definitely do a Colorado before that basically the same truck I would want their most powerful one in the bison or something they look OK but the 24 Tacoma looks better than any other midsize truck on the market in my opinion the expensive truck is gonna be the 24 Trd, pro Tacoma and the trail hunter in any of the ones with the hybrid powertrain !! The problem is all the used '20 - '23 Tacomas prices have gone way up due to the '24 prices. So if you want a Tacoma, you are paying way over MSRP for a used old tech Tacoma (yes it has the V6) or for just a little more get the new one. It's a problem.
You have to find good deals or make them when it comes to getting a Tacoma!

@@littlekennytv5668 The problem is I have a 05' Tacoma with 400K miles. It's time to replace. I saw the new Tacoma and REALLY liked it, the interior is so nice. But that 4 Turbo. is going to be a maint issue. Lots and lots of fresh oil all the time to make that turbo last.

55K dollars for a midsized 4 cylinder truck is WAY TOO MUCH. I'll keep my 4runner and wait until Toyota comes to its senses and gets this truck in the low 40's. You also need to wait for the issues that will come up with a 4 cylinder turbo. Maybe the 2025, for sure the 2026 will be truly Toyota reliable. Unfortunately the pricing is unreasonable.

I know some of these people. They can't afford them. They get 84 month loans and quickly end up upside down on the loan if they were to try and trade it in. Some of them wrap the extra debt into the new loan until they can't get another one. Then they either walk, or get stuck paying it off forever. I told my cousin "Looks like you'll be shopping for your next ride at the Chevro-Legs dealer". He doesn't like me but I don't care. 😀

I can never afford this truck or any new car anymore...I was looking at a trd off road 3 gen 2017 still going for 37k out the door 40k with 30k miles... geez. the used 3 gens are going like hotcakes.
The used Tacoma prices are insane. It’s almost cheaper to get a new one but hopefully that will change. I think it’s going to be on a case-by-case situation. Just got to look for one with low miles. The REAL question is SR5 tundra compared to Sr5 tacoma!!! i just looked at a 24 Tundra SR5 with cloth, crew max, 4x4 SX package. basically packaged exactly like a SR5 tacoma with sr5 convenience package...gives you basically same options... the Tundra is 49,000$, the Tacoma is 49,000$... WHY would you buy a tacoma over the tundra? gas mileage?? I'm not trolling I'm serious I do not understand WHY...
Because not, everybody wants a full-size truck that Tacoma‘s a midsize truck and it can go places that the tundra can’t go as easily you can Parkette in your garage. I live in a smaller city in the midwest... our traffic is nothing to deal with, a tundra will fit in Most garages...I love the tacoma but i'm struggling to decide between the 2 just get so much more in the tundra, more towing more room, more power/torque much more comfotable for passengers... but on your point that the midsize will go places a full size wont?? where in the USA can you not drive a full size? maybe some offroad conditions but what % drive a new tacoma off the road at beyond 25% of its capability....its only 3-4 inches narrower than a tundra and about 20 inches shorter depending on config...

The behind the seat room is too small for passengers and not enough for cargo. For 55,000 doesnt even get you leather seats.The same knobs and controls as my 2015 with the exception of the touch screen which looks like an after thought. No thanks

Come on now. In Maine its only gonna cost you 1300.00+ to register it & probably 130.00 monthly for insurance & then 800.00+- monthly payment because the interest rates are crazy. For a 4cyl Tacoma that only gets 21-23mph. They charge you 1300.00+- for 18in wheels for vehicle to roll down the road.... 55,000.00 then add fees. No problem. Its only money. Thanks Toyota. I can buy a full size 4×4 Chevy with a 5.3 for less then a Tacoma... I love my 2023 Tacoma trdsport 4dr 4wd but its looking like my next vehicle is going to be full size. Not sure brand BUT at Toyota's prices its not looking good...... BTW ive seen the mudflaps on 2024 SR & they are CRAP

It definitely makes you think about getting a full-size truck just because of the price but if you don’t need a full-size truck, that’s a Tacoma is perfect. Such a piece of junk for $55k. 10 years ago, $55k could buy you any truck on the market. We live in a failing economy. Unsustainable, that a truck this isn’t even capable of being a work truck or family truck is $55k. So dumb.

Toyota trucks. cost over 55K, waaaaaaaaay overkill , the interest on high score credit. 700 and up, it's 6%. $3000 plus registration fee $2400 and the dealer fee at lease $1500 they call it protection!!!! is toooooo much money for this truck with 4 Cyl not super power for towing. , for this cost, buy RAM or Seairra 1500, 1.9% interest. so, the main problem after the covid politic of Toyota changed as more pricy and high Interest.
