I realise that many of you are probably putting together your architecture final project / interior design final project for your last year at university. Which is why I thought, doing a video like this may make you feel a bit more at ease, as I’ll be giving you my tips for producing the layout of an architectural presentation board and also tips for when people start their final project next year. Really in depth and interesting stuff. I'm curious as to how long it took for you to get your start in the industry once you graduated as I've heard horror stories of it taking up to 3 YEARS. Also, if you wouldn't mind mentioning how well you were doing on your course in comparison to the rest of the people on your course. Thank you your video is greatly appreciated :)
Hi! Yes I would say anywhere from 1-3 years (haven't heard of anyone with 2-3 years wait tbh, but I can see how that would happen!)
Secondly, I graduated with a 2:1 and I wouldn't say I was top of my class😅😅 There were people that had much better grades than me! I'm not sure about other countries, but here in UK, grades don't mean as much as the portfolio when you leave anyways🤗
@@dantierandbalogh thank you for the quick reply. So nice to hear that they look more into your portfolio than grades since sometimes tutors tend to play favourites or become biased since it's not in there preferred style.

Is interior architecture and design one degree or seperate? I always wondered out of curiosity. I want to be interior design and interior architecture.
Hi, usually interior architecture degrees cover all aspects (including interior design). Thats actually what I did at uni😊Good luck ✌🍀

Do you use autocad. and how often do you use it. what are the drawing programs common in architecture and interior architecture offices in london.
Hi! Sorry no, I don't use autocad. I would say that it depends on where you are applying. Top practices use Rhino, Vectorworks & Revit (I would say). But a good think to check out is job listings on LinkedIn, as they usually tell you what software is required 😁
