Also if you have other interests you might wanna look at some other options in the military. I used to be set on infantry but now im leaning to vehicle technician. All trades get basic training the same as the infantry, and from what i heard vehicle techs have a lot of the same responsibilities as infantry just add mechanics on top of it so i dig it. if infantry is your thing thats sweet too.

I assumed that volunteering was a compulsory component of their program at RMC, until upon chatting with them I learned that they were doing it to get off base during the evening. Unlike Queen's students, they didn't have the luxury of drinking all night and sleeping in the next day. For young people in their early 20s, I was really struck by their maturity. This was around the time Canada was ramping up its Afghan commitment. I was impressed by their quiet confidence and preparedness for what lay ahead of them.
This is quite late however is it possible to transfer to RMC after first year undergrad for Psychology BA at York? I'm currently 18 and was in Air Cadets up until late 2018. I would like to re-enter the forces as crime, military etc has always interested me.
I don't think inspections should be conducted by upper classmen, nor should upper classmen be placed in a position of authority over freshmen. Isn't that exactly what the Auditor General's report and Louise Arbour's report have criticized about RMC?

But then even if it were, why would a tax payer pay for your degree. Go to a recognized university on your own dime. Based on what I have seen at DND, I could only roll my eyes.
The acceptance rates at RMC are similar to the US Military Academies and the engineering degrees are better. But the football teams suck in Canada - actually come to think of it - they suck at West Point too.
