The starter house being a chaotic mess is probably the most realistic level design ive seen
I think we can agree that everyone in that house turned into waterfalls and started doing twirls before falling to the ground

Especially since this is a demo, Let’s you get a taste for every mechanic thus far implemented.
This house was in Dead Island 2 or at least it looks the exact same.
@@underratedszn6549exactly! I think the dev maybe has seen too many slasher movies as this was supposedly a quick and dirty mob hit with like one shot to the body one to the head each. The way the blood spray and puddles of gore are on every surface even on the walls is comical. It looks like people had fights with blades weapons like knives or swords in every room of the house then someone rolled around in the blood and wiped it on every surface like holy shit
Edit: Not to mention The only person who was brutally tortured, the unfaithful husband in the basement, who should have the biggest mess and blood everywhere has a much more realistic amount of blood under where he was tortured and a bit on the torturers implements.

I was thinking that, I'm wondering if it's by the same team. It's just so similar in how blood gets tracked and the absolute chaos of the levels

Soooo ached when in the pool he was looking for more blood and CLEARLY missed his footprint on the steps 9:49😩😭🤣🤣🤣
You know what's weird? I went up to a STEM summer camp in July earlier this year and we had a day where we checked out the other fields (there was forensic, robotics, medical, and engineering). I was on the engineering team, and I went to see the forensics group and o some activities related to that field. One of the activities had you create a crime scene. It took us a while to decide on what to do, but strangely enough, we ended up making a scenario that looked EXCACTLY like this. It took place at night at some rich person's villa where 5 people were getting drunk around the pool after everyone else in the party had left, or supposedly everyone had left... *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*! All of them too drunk to notice, get shot and fall into the pool, staining the pool red...
Weird and cool how this was so similar!

Pretty sure this is Lalo Salamanca's compound from BB and BCS. That back gate is where Nacho lets the assassins in. The bottles were where Nacho was drinking with the goons.

Interesting concept. I like the idea of a timer before police show up or called. Maybe have a way to add time by disabling systems or answering calls to the house with random questions that will either add or subtract time based on your answer. Mini-games to keep you constantly running around while also trying to clean. Maybe having to clean up a scene in an apartment complex where others have no idea what happened. Neighbors stopping by, alarm clocks going off, phones ringing, parrots talking, dog/cat/animal running loose, etc. This could be a fun game depending on how they proceed. It looks fairly decent enough to say it probably isn't a cash grab game but it also looks like it would get boring VERY fast. Hence why I like the time idea as well as mini-games to not only add panic/urgency but give it re-playability.
There's a little cartoon type game called serial cleaner thats a guy that cleans up crime scenes while police patrol the area.

If that first guys wife was having a affair with his friend why did he kill his friends entire family while sparing his wife? Would have made more sense to just kill his own wife and his friend

I like how 'impulsive' is just a label we put on a criminal that murdered 5 people, spread their insides like primer, and then locked the doors behind him as he ran off. Yeah-definitely just a mistake made in the heat of the moment.
let me break it down-my man, probably was here to assassinate the man of the house.
He cut down the wife from behind while she was on the phone
Shot up the son while he was gaming quietly in his room
Bent the daughter over a railing and snapped her neck
Brought the father down in the basement to torture fatally
spread around enough blood and debries on the way out-as he shot the Pool Boy twice for daring to be in the general vicinity.
This is hilarious in how utterly without story this 'random mobster' is in that he just made the retail value for that house lose couple digits all in a single night lol
