    For those wondering why there is no guitar player, they had to use backing tracks for those parts...their guitar player was in jail at the time.

      Agreed! Way too many people think the band is just trying to sound tough and edgy or promote a violent lifestyle unto others. Even people who know they come from a violent city seem to think that.

    • @TheSharkAnt
      @TheSharkAnt Год назад +2

      There are quite a few reasons why people hate KING 810, but their are three that come to mind.
      One is their image, which is a cartoonishly exaggerated version of the angry poor blue collar guy from the Midwest, which may not sit right with certain people.
      Another reason is the lyrics. A lot the haters think their lyrics are glamorizing/endorsing/glorifying violence and crimes, or simply trying to sound tough and edgy, but they're actually just trying to make music that people can relate to.
      Another reason is the music itself. Many people find KING 810's instrumental section to be bland, boring, and overly simplistic.

    This band is super dark. If you really listen to the music and the lyrics you’d know that they’ve all seen some shit. sadly Flint Michigan is a really bad place man. And it hurts to think that people have to live there and raise kids there man. If anything, the metal community should pull together and try to help out the ones in need there, and other places as well who are less fortunate. We are all bonded by the same thing at the end of the day after all! Be easy everyone!

They're doing what they do through music to reach out to the people of Flint, Michigan. Regardless, they're great. So much energy and brutal honest truth of how it is for some.Too many Musicians perform as puppets, with someone's hand up their bott's! We need more musicians who are given freedom to write what is true to them.

      I'm not a huge fan of the vocals. I'm pretty sure the singer could get so much more out of his vocals. This melancholic painful whispery vibe is good for a few parts or verses, but I miss the climax parts were the vocals sound super pissed and angry. However, maybe that's just how the band/producer want it to sound like. It's makes 810 just different to other bands, and that's totally okay :)

      @@grant9005 I have heard two or three of his song and I like it. But that might just be because I just generally like the message of his experiences. I live in Flint so I'm biased in that way. And it also brings true to my experiences in the city.

      Lance winters I agree but I am glad they came out when they did.... they are a great distraction from alot of the crap out now. When I saw them at the rockstar fest I immediatly knew this was a band to get into. They had a raw and gritty sound lyrically insane my neck was killing me the next day from so much head banging. I hope they continue pumping out albums for many years to come.

    King's vocals are truly amazing! To be honest they kind of give me some of those early nu-metal vibes, like the way Jonathan Davis, Corey Taylor and a few others made me feel with the delivery of their vocals in the 90s and early 2000s. Just the rawness, pain, passion and ferocity that only a select few vocalists are able to truly convey through their music.

    Man I've never seen a band with such mixed feelings towards them. First time listening to them I'll admit I thought they were garbage, but the more I listened to them the more I see their message, and the more I understood what was going on in their songs. I don't know, maybe they are a trash band and I just have a bias towards them, and maybe you just need to have the insane part of your brain unlocked before you can enjoy them. I grew up in what felt like a warzone at times not unlike flint, but that's not all there is to it, its more of a try and fucking stop me kind of vibe, people like us had to fight adversity of our whole life and always will fight it and that's the real battle.
