Agreed! Way too many people think the band is just trying to sound tough and edgy or promote a violent lifestyle unto others. Even people who know they come from a violent city seem to think that.

This is such a love/hate band. I think it comes down to how/where you grew up. I love these guys. Original sound. Brutal. They have a message they are passionate about which most bands don't have.
I grew up in an extremely "normal" home, parents stayed together, I never got beaten up or bullied and yet I have this incredible draw to the intensity of King, can't wait to see them in the UK this Feb!!!!
Matthew Jones could be,I live in govan in the Southside of glasgow.I've had neds try and kick my door in just to fight on a Saturday night, seen one of my best friends stabbed at 9am on a Sunday morning, more than one friend get hooked on smack or crack ,the police turning up at my door at 2am during the week to ask if I've heard any violence upstairs all kinds of shit so I can relate to their points to at least some degree.

Well said mate you can relate more to them if you understand where they come from i grew up in harlesden north London and most days were a fight for a normal day wouldn't wish it on most people

@@curtisfroude6283 I both agree and disagree with that. There are plenty of good, raw metal-bands. But there are also a ton of "clean-cut" and "mass produced" bands in f.eks. metalcore.

Why do people hate this band? They legit tell a story about the hood and What the struggle is like and This is coming from a Gucci Mane and Chief Keef fan. I love when people speak the truth and Talk about the problems with places like Flint, Chicago, Dallas, Compton, and Atlanta. No fake shit, Only brutal reality.
There are quite a few reasons why people hate KING 810, but their are three that come to mind. One is their image, which is a cartoonishly exaggerated version of the angry poor blue collar guy from the Midwest, which may not sit right with certain people. Another reason is the lyrics. A lot the haters think their lyrics are glamorizing/endorsing/glorifying violence and crimes, or simply trying to sound tough and edgy, but they're actually just trying to make music that people can relate to. Another reason is the music itself. Many people find KING 810's instrumental section to be bland, boring, and overly simplistic.
With a real writer of a guitar player and a full time drummer this band 100 per cent has the potential to be one the modern day legendary bands that people starting band's will listen to this band and take true inspiration
I'm watching this show again and again, it always gives me chills when I focus on the lyrics, we can hear their past from their music and lyrics and that is why this band is so special, I love them

Knights Of Pluto I've been a fan of these guys when they released their first album when I was 11, it's been 3 years and I still love them, and their message
Saw them live at Mayhem 2014. Got fucked up by moshing to these guys by their fans. It was intense and amazing! Still listen to their music to this day. Great stuff
King's vocals are truly amazing! To be honest they kind of give me some of those early nu-metal vibes, like the way Jonathan Davis, Corey Taylor and a few others made me feel with the delivery of their vocals in the 90s and early 2000s. Just the rawness, pain, passion and ferocity that only a select few vocalists are able to truly convey through their music.
Being from Michigan, I think it would be cool to see Eminem and David get together, be it a metal song or a rap song, if em does some stuff like the old em, I think him and David would be cool together
Man I've never seen a band with such mixed feelings towards them. First time listening to them I'll admit I thought they were garbage, but the more I listened to them the more I see their message, and the more I understood what was going on in their songs. I don't know, maybe they are a trash band and I just have a bias towards them, and maybe you just need to have the insane part of your brain unlocked before you can enjoy them. I grew up in what felt like a warzone at times not unlike flint, but that's not all there is to it, its more of a try and fucking stop me kind of vibe, people like us had to fight adversity of our whole life and always will fight it and that's the real battle.
KING 810 about 2 months ago "UK Family, As Bloodstock is quickly approaching we wanted to update you on a situation we're dealing with at home. Saw them last night in a small club. Notice they were a man down. Played to a back track the hole set. They still were fn intense. They played the same exact set.
For those wondering why there is no guitar player, they had to use backing tracks for those parts...their guitar player was in jail at the time.

lol can't unhear it
@@koooniiin Diehard Slipknot fan but I can't hear Prosthetics in there 😅
That opening part actually reminds me of a track by Peste Noire though I forget which.
@@jimbo80982 Makes sense too :)
Great set, really enjoyed this. Listen to it most weekends.
ok so i havent seen this video in years...... where is the guitarist again??
Props to the sound system for handling those fucking sub drops
Hate that it's taking me this long to find these guys awesome.
Fully agree
3:54 Ice Cube on the bass !!!
Thank you David for this super great best song am à fan of your band king 810 for life
Great energy. Fucken HEEEEAAAAAVY. Great writing. This band is fucken stellar.
Being from Michigan, I think it would be cool to see Eminem and David get together, be it a metal song or a rap song, if em does some stuff like the old em, I think him and David would be cool together
David's poetry is amazing but can we get a hand for the drummer and guitarist
Btw it anyone is wondering why La Petite Morte doesn't have a music video that's because their is but it's on pornhub though...😬
" Best Night Of My Life " is hands down their best song. I'm blown away they don't play it.
These boy are built for this. It is their identity. Their experiences shaped them. They can't sellout.
Esse show foi sensacional! é uma pena que o Andrew Beal não pode estar presente. :(
Can't believe I missed this 😭
I would love to do a collaboration with King 810 but I'm sure the waiting list is years out..lol
Support Michigan Artist!!
caralho, como nunca ouvi antes? banda maravilhosa!
Guitar missing?
the guitarist was arrested a couple days before the show i think. i don't know the details.
I saw something on their facebook page. I think it was like: "we will perform as free men ou condemned men". Pretty sick.

"UK Family,
As Bloodstock is quickly approaching we wanted to update you on a situation we're dealing with at home. Beal was brought in on a weapon's charge on Sunday night. While the details of this bond are litigated we wanted to reassure all that we will be on stage at Bloodstock either as free men or as wanted men. Will keep you posted.
-KING"
Saw them last night in a small club. Notice they were a man down. Played to a back track the hole set. They still were fn intense. They played the same exact set.
20:44 Technical Difficulties?
When he stares into the crowd, I get the chills man holy shit
Great set!
