- The Dillard Center for the Arts Jazz Ensemble won first place in the Essentially Ellington. This tune "Harlem Speaks" is from their award wining performance.

The trombones are screamers! I love that about them! :D
I hope I can get into 1st jazz band next year I would probably cry if i got to go with them as a guest to see them at Ellingtons!
