    nice 👍 can’t wait for future updates,
    what light setting are you running in %

    • @fishpalace
      @fishpalace  Год назад +1

      Running up to 60% blue and 50% white. Corals seem to respond to it well and I have no sps so do not need stronger lights

    Great reassuring video for all us reefers. We all have to battle algae, cyano or both at some point. The ATO upgrade will be perfect when you have to leave the tank for a holiday. Enjoyed the update 👍

      Thanks Jay. That is a fair point as will def need to do something ahead of any time away. I am treating it as part of the tanks evolution and that was one of the reasons why I wanted to film it at probably it’s worse. 👍🏻

    Great update mate get a few emerald crabs in to tackle that bubble algae. Corals look healthy as anything, and as for the sand, it will all clean up soon it's new tank syndrome as you know

      Thanks Ste. I have an emerald in there but it is fairly small and the algae is growing too quick. Might need to manually remove to help

      Thanks for watching. That is more important to me than having the tank look clean and tidy. You never know how the corals will react in a newish tank but they are super hardy having been in other tanks for years 👌🏻

    It's all looking good and coming on nicely.
    How are you getting on wtih the Angel? I read they are reef safe with caution and like to nip LPS and clams and ideally need a 200 litre tank.
    As for an auto top up I can recommend the Reefloat Pro 4, the good thing I like is the sensor is outside the tank so doesn't get salt crust or algae etc.

      The cherub as been as good as gold, touch wood. I have some fleshy LPS such as acan, candy cane and bubble coral and not noticed any nipping and they are all inflated which would suggest they are untouched. The cherub is small and I do not expect it to grow much Beto d the 1 1/2 inch that it is and has loads of hiding places and algae to feed on so all seems good and at present shows no sign of aggression or stress but will see what happens. I have heard good things about the reef float and certainly an option. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

    If you had the radion y did you choose to go with the reef led

    • @fishpalace
      @fishpalace  Год назад

      The reef LED comes with the tank as does the skimmer, return pump and ATO. I am really happy with he light for the corals I keep and seen good growth and colouration. I like this light 👌🏻
