Awesome videos as always :) A little tip to keep the back of your nano clean ( where the salt or mold) is building up! I have a squirt bottle I keep with ro water and every day squirt a little water over the build ups, so you never have an issue of build up. Saves a lot of time and keeps it looking fresh, lol :) Thanks for all the videos, and happy reefing!!
I have a snail in my refugium that is covered in bubble algae, it also has 3 aptasia on it's back, it's hilarious. That nano is too small for sailfin tang, but if you ever have a problem in a large tank, that's the way to go 🙂
It was Def the emerald crab. I have lost about 3 fish to mine so far. Also that tester they used is known to be inaccurate. I'd err on the side of caution

It’s awesome to see how great your tank looks even with lower calcium, lower pH, 1.0 phosphate and 36 nitrate. Seems like consistency matters more than low numbers
I've used emerald crabs and it completely took out my bubble alage issues! They didn't mess with my corals but what I did was when there was no bubble algae left I gave them to a friend just incase they get hungry lol! Good luck!
Manual removal of bubble algae to start then let the emerald crabs finish it off. It’s unlikely a true emerald would kill a fish. Maybe eat some corals but not a healthy fish
My emerald crab bolted, not kidding you 12 times and became a monster. He grabbed my sand, sniffing Gobi and ripped him in half. When I brought him back to the local Eliphaz where I got him everybody in there could not believe how big that Emerald crab was they were taking pictures. I wish I took a picture. I was so angry at the time that I didn’t care For a pic
Your levels aren’t just a bit off. That phos reading was 1.0, and it should be more like 0.03. Whatever you’re feeding or adding needs to go way down or you can run rhophos

Just use a toothbrush to brush the bubble algae off and manually remove it….small net or suck it out with a small water change.

🙃 apparently these tests arnt too accurate. I get like 420-450 cal and 8-8.5 alk on my home Red Sea kits

Have so much algae as well! How did your corals do with the emerald crab? I am nervous to get one and it pick on corals for some unknown reason.

Emerald crab lol. Get in there and manually remove it. One and done.
Scolys don't care about temp 76 or 82. I have them in 3 tanks at 82 for years.

My phos has always been very high in this tank, have a few vids with icp tests. Usually around .3-.4. But yea cutting the coral nutrition down a bit 👌
