(Let me)
Show you how I feel
(Be the one)
That I need so much
(Let me)
Give you what is real
(Be the one)
That I long to touch
54 YEARS old and still love this group.
65 yrs old and this song takes me back to the simpler times in life.
Totally agree 💯
Same!
Yes, I feel the same too!
@@RosalindWhittakerI wish I could go back in time
I miss the 80's so much..
Expose is one of the best female girl groups from 80's.
80s, 90s etc etc
That's so true
💯🙌👍❤️❤️❤️!!!!!!!!
Thank you
The best,,,TBE….the best ever!🫶🫶❤❤🤙🤙❤❤
I have a Polaroid with these ladies from 1986 or 87 when this new lineup was getting going. They came and did a track date at the club where I worked in Pittsburgh. They were funny and nice, no egos. Later, in 1990, they came through in a proper tour and played at another club where I worked in Detroit with a full band. Again - funny, sweet, no egos. I still appreciate them to this day.
I'll be 55 next month & I'm still jamming to this song!!! I wish I could go back to the 80's!!!
I will be 57 in january
❤️❤️❤️
Loving these music vibes ❤️❤️❤️
I know saw them in concert so good one of my favorite groups music ever so talented. Takes me back
80's rocked! College days! Carefree fun! I would gladly go back and NEVER return!
Who else is going through their favorite jams thinking about life back in the days? Please tell me I'm not the only one✌🏼️
Me too! Phil collins, any music from Miami Vice, lace gloves, Madonna & lots of crazy makeup! Prince & Purple Rain! Ahhhhhh 80s, great memories ❤💜❤💜❤💜
You're not alone. I miss those days so much.
Back when people danced in clubs as couples, not as montages..
Then.... when you're all hot, sweating, and spent, a slow song comes on, and you collapse in each other's arms... slow dancing, swaying to the music..
You're not the only one.
You are not. Nothing today is good clean music. .. half naked woman that can't sing. 🙄
I am 49, at work....with my head phones on, singing this like i was back in highschool with the hairspray bangs. I love this song. The jams from this group!
I feel you , these girls are the best !
Aquanet by the gallon 😂
I can tell you would have been just my type back in 87. What could have been....sigh.
I remember the hair spray bangs like Shanice Wilson and JJFad
I'm 48. I'll be 49 soon. You jam it girl
How I miss these days. I think the fact that we had to either wait to hear it on the radio or if you had the money to go and buy the records, you couldn't just come to the internet in here at any time you wanted to. It's like those of us that grew up during this time or were alive during this time we get to come back and relive it
I’d be switching channel from Braves or Celtics games to vh1 to catch my favorite videos. This was one of them.
I’m so blessed to have been born in 1970. These 80s songs bear the memories of me and my wife. We’re still married to this day. We were married April 27th 1991.
It's so great to hear that!!! People take marriage so lightly or don't think its necessary to be with someone. As someone who believes in the sanctity of marriage, from your words this is not the case. You are a real gem. Thirty years plus and still going strong. May you and your wife have many more wonderful memories and years together and blessings. I don't hear many stories of marriages lasting this long.
I'm a '72
Married 16 April 1990. ❤👌🙋♀️
Congrats to you sir I admire that
I was born in 1980 and I remember this song from 4th to 8th grade always playing on the bus ride home
My favorite Expose' song by far!!! Gia killed it!!!
Agreed!
yes she did!!!
gioia, not gia. :)
Her vocal skill is amazing, her tone is perfection! I love when she starts belting out that b verse! Expose badd, that's all there is to it! These ladies didn't need all that fancy shmancy mess most of these singers have to lean on and let do all the work for em these day's!💙🎤🎶🎤💙☺✌
Exactly 👍👍
Most underrated voice of the 80's. She is still just so bad ass. I love her voice
lol she used to sing in the club. I used to go to in North Miami Beach. She made more money and had more success than she ever imagined she would.
Expose does NOT get the credit they deserve!
there gone now never coming back. here today gone tomarrow.
👏👏❤❤❤
she made her retirment check. still making it.
The credit they deserve is a schnitzel.
A wiener schnitzel perhaps
Who’s listening in 2024?
And where are they now?
They recently did a freestyle show in California earlier this year.

As a 12-year-old kid in 1987, I was in love with these ladies, and their music!
Yo I was 14 when I first heard Season Change on the radio in 87 and I was like who are these girls, one of favorite girl groups of all time, so many memories from the 80's.
@@jonathananderson5788I was 11 also.. fun times❤
I was 17 and I've loved them ever since.
I turned 19 Aug of 87.

I'm also 55 and remember this song too. Great years! Wow time flies.
I love the glamour of the 80s!😍💖✨
0:12 🙂
I love it, except the AIDS epidemic. It made COVID look like a joke.
Same! The clothes back then were so much fun to rock!
I feel so privileged to have been around when this hit the charts. It was just a different time back then. Thank you Lord.
The thing I love about them... each girl got to be lead singer.
That little moment at 0:06 when Gioia looks back over her lovely shoulder...it melted me in 1987 and it melts me now.
Amen.
I'll be 50 this year and this song always takes me back to the sweet 80s. I wish we could relive those days as times were so much more amazing than they are today.
You missed the best music ever in the 60s + 70s. All the Rock CLADDICS were made! They will live forever generation to generation. Not like these flash in the pan silly techno songs!
*_John 10.9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly._*

@@p.e.p2368, yet here you are listening to and leaving comments on 80’s music. LOL!
So many singers in the 80’s had voices that give you cold chills at some point in their songs, especially the women. You just don’t hear that voice that gets down into your soul anymore
Yup facts!
No auto tune
I agree the way they sang brought you in. man. you couldn't get any better than that.

Joyce Simms, lisa lisa , and the ultimate Luther Vandross , plus 52 second street and Alexander O^Neil, the eighties man, soul class and then some 8) ............Just be good to me on the comments 8)

Of course! The vocals says it all! And they sound just as good live
I am 50 and I still listen to all my 80s music, the music lets me be in my feelings and I LOVE IT ALL.
Me too,Cheryl !!! Takes me back to these easier times( nostalgia )no social media,no mass riots,no MAGA,no mass police shootings/killings( at least most of them were filmed )no prolonged wars( Iraq & Afganistan ) no mass shootings/shooters,no concealed/open carry,no raids on the capitol building,no terrorist attacks on the U.S,etc,etc,... the 80's were a piece of cake compared to what's happening now. LOL.

U GO BOY !!!!! 🎊🥳🎉
Keep those windows open brother and rock to Expose.
This is back in the day, when artists had talent, could sing , dressed and had CLASS!!!
And no autotune
And no auto tunes
Zulu swashbuckler.
Roger Troutman started auto tune but I definitely get what ya'll are saying it has definitely become something thing to mask and disguise and cloak the lake of talent and originality and creativity to that doesn't exist anymore‼️
@@allenscott68 no bruh Roger used a vocoder, it was an actual instrument. Auto tune is a pitch correction device that has been pushed to create a sound similar to a vocoder.
Zulu swashbuckler.

We were so lucky!! We went through almost nuclear Holocaust, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the aids epidemic we got this!!!

Turned 21 in 1985, and little did I know, that the 80’s would be the absolute best time to come of age. MTV, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince and so many more. The female groups were simply amazing… will always cherish this music!!!
She should have had more lead vocals! Her voice is everything!
I agree
She was lead vocal till her losing her voice. Went to see them Rode Island in late 80’s after coming home from a deployment in US Navy concert was same day I got back. Gioia announced she was leaving the band due her voice had been injured. Few weeks later Kelly Moneymaker was chosen to replace her. Still have their concert T shirt from there. Gioia has always been my favorite. Back then had huge crush on her ROFL all the other sailors liked Ann.
@@wesxander4329 When Gioia left the group go cheesy and lost that R&B sound that Gioia brought.
@@wesxander4329 She did some of the lead vocals but Jeanette sang lead on most of their big hits. Nevertheless, Gioia was my favorite member & I still have a slight crush on her. Haha.
P. S. She actually has an Instagram page and posts pretty regularly on there.
I miss this era...remember being debt free, pain free...growing up listening to this...subtle and sexy not like today's crap. Can I go back please?
80s was and still is the best decade ever for music. Other decades have their place but no other decade can beat the 80s.
Those women were so sexy.
ha... for me that wasn't the case back then.... now though even thogh we are going through the Covid19 I am still debt. free and 100x better than I was as a teenager back then..
Wish I could??? SMH
I'll go back 😁
Went to their concert they opened for Lisa Lisa and the cult jam. They got 3 standing ovations blew Lisa Lisa Away. No way Lisa lisa could top them...
I still like Lisa Lisa but she doesn't compare to Gioia from Expose.
Wow!!
The 80s were the Best decade for music
70s were imo
I'm 54 and this is still one of my all time favorites!
Expose blew up the charts with the song"let me be one"🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gioia's voice is like no other. She bodies this song!!
Currently 53 and don't like most of today's music. What the world happened?
I know that's right!!!!!!!
Overproduction vs. finding people with great voices and using real instruments.
Boomers took all of the good melodies
women had real style in the 80's
sure they did. when she proposed to me in highschool i said I DONT.
AMEN TO THAT!!! Women went from this to sexy red. What a tragedy.
these ladies had soul
Lead vocalist is amazing. There is harnessed power in those vocals..
For those that don't know. These ladies were plastered on the airwaves throughout late 80s
Childhood Classic Still Here 2023!

Comments on old songs is the proof that our country has faltered. They're always talking about America being way better back in the 1970's or 1980's or 1990's. I was born in 1967. I totally agree.

Nice music in the 80's ,know it's just the days we are leaven in.
In the 80's the crack epidemic, crime, and AIDs were happening. So no the world wasn't good.
Every decade is bad we all just let the music soothe the soul to forget chaos going on around us

My 80s were the best!!! Im 56 now and woulnt trade it for anything!

I could have been the ONE. Im just saying. An EIGHTIES Guy!
I love this song, 😍! They don't make music like this anymore (unfortunately).
Some of my favorite 80s songwriters have remained active putting out new albums in recent years. With every new album there is usually a song or two or three that make my list of favorite all-time songs by that artist/group/songwriter. It just doesn't get played on the radio, for the most part. Some will get played on AC radio, sometimes.
Dennis DeYoung's 26 East, Vol. 1 is a 5 star album for me. It was released just a few years ago.
Dear Expose: I apologize for never buying any of your albums. You rock! I have added you to my Spotify so I can hear you all the time!
queens of the 80's
Gioia is the best singer in the band. Such a unique voice, that's what make singers special. Steve Perry, Lou Gramm, Joey Tempest ect..

If you're here, you're on the nice list.
And you are part of the cool crowd that was able to experience the 80s.

I was only 11 when this song came out but I became obsessed with them. I made my mom buy their cassette for my walkman.
Unbelievable that Exposè never made it in the UK. I was in Florida with the Royal Navy in '87, flicking through the channels, and this song came on, I couldn't believe what I was hearing...it just touched me in a way that still brings me back here. And their 2nd album was even better 👍

80s had the best music hands down🙂. Jealous of all the people who were teens and young adults through those times.
So many great girl groups back then...
The creativity in production on these old Expose' tracks is unbelievably cool. The stereo panned dual Roland drum machines creates such cool rhythmic layers. The synth work is writing textbooks on 80s pop. So insanely good.
59 and I think they were such a breath of fresh air. I was enthralled with the lead singer. I know her name. I thought was gorgeous.. The group was excellent. Liked the women bands/singers of the 80s

When this first came out, my brother introduced it to me and our small town. He came back home from his stint in the military and his place of training in California.
