- The Sculpt Stroke Method keyboard shortcut was changed in Blender 4 to Alt+E (it was just E before). Here’s a quick reminder of the fun that is to be had with the various stroke methods. Line and Curve in particular are very useful for accurate work, and even hard surface sculpting.

I’m self taught and I THOUGHT I knew enough to comfortably do anything I wanted but holy shit, brother, you just changed the whole game!
there's a thousand ways to Rome, none of us know all of them. I think people should always keep in mind that everything in 3D can be approached through countless ways.
yoo u so right its hard to know all things and knowing which is learned which is not learned@@GeometricPidgeon
nah, you just weren't familiar with the game 😈
Learning this exists after spending 4 years sculpting without it feels about like I'd expect to feel if I had been dicing onions with my own teeth my entire life, and someone showed me what a knife was. Holy. Crap.
Wow. I didn't know about that feature in sculpting. Thank you very much for sharing this tip.
Thanks bro, I've been watching all of the videos about how to sculpt in blender 4.0 and so far, this is the best explanation ever.
This is one of the best channels. Huge helpful techniques in a minute.
Brooooo !! Thats a friggin life saver tip !! Always used to handsculpt those details but this is gonna help me so much thnx man 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hello, how do you turn off or cancel the curve function after use?
ALT + E, and then DOTS
dude how fine is your subdivision to get hard edges like that? my performance crawls and frrzes if I go below 0.02 remesh
Stupid question. How do i set my brush back to normal after?
Will this affect topology for animations in game development for unreal emgine 5?
It just keeps getting better and better.
how many polygons for that sculpt object?
Hey my mate. Is there a way to sculpt things to an eben height? Like you want to sculpt terrain and the parts you sculp shall all extrude to the same height
Great tip , I am unable to figure out how to save the curves I have created , any tips on that ?
I was trying to get this to work on an edge to inflate it, but it looks like it only works on a face.
😦holy squid
how to improve your sculps? learn to ACTUALLY model things
Practice and use reference.
very useful tool. how do you exit it though? even after deleting the stroke, my normal brush never comes back when the draw brush is selected. even after navigating away from the culpting tab then back again.
Press Alt+E for the stroke method menu. The first option is the default, the "normal brush".
ahh, i dont have normal brush but i have airbrush and it seems to do the same thing. thanks
I wonder if this can be done with imported curves, like .svg. Drawing these by hand is tough without skill or talent
