Good to see you out and about on your first stealth camping mission! Loving the set up as it reminds me of my beloved Ford Galaxy. Can defiantly recommend changing the bed from a double to a single which allows for some space to move around inside! 🤙🏼

Hi Brendan. I found you, i like your content because you obviously like life, have fun and its good to see your dad helping you like all good dads do. I've liked and subscribed and am going to watch more of your fun videos. We are campers and boy, this yr , £36 a night to pitch on a facilities camp. We absolutelly adore camping and we're, hubby close to 74 and I'm 72 next week. Weve invested in 4 new tents this yr and go rid of the old. We still have a great table that we started camping with over 48 yrs ago, still going strong but weve treated ourselves to a new updated one today.

I grew up in Bayston Hill before moving to Australia at about 13. Love watching your videos seeing parts of my county I didn’t get a chance to see. Love it.

Great video lads. We car camped for the first time last year and loved it. We have big plans this year to get out and about car camping in our little citroen c4.. We're shorties so it's plenty big enough.

Had a really great car camp in the Shropshire Hills in a place I probably shouldn't have...but it was definitely an amazing place and want to explore the area more

Hello. I follow you from southern France. I was wondering why do you only drink non-alcoholic beverages? It bugs me as you are young, and in the outdoors, sharing a beer or something else with a friend facing the sun, can be quite satisfying. Thank you for your videos.
Hey! 👋 I do like a nice cider sometimes but I'm the UK it's illegal to drink and be in charge of a vehicle at the same time so it's hard to drink when camping even when you don't plan on driving. I always think it's best to be fit to drive incase of an emergency etc 👍

This was SO funny to watch 😂 I'd like to try out car camping next summer (plenty of time to plan 🤣) Can you recommend any campsites in the uk that allow car campers to stay there? Or even if its not an actual camping site, what locations would you recommend for car camping? :) thank you
That's great that your considering car camping 🙂 I would suggest ringing a few campsites before booking to confirm they are ok with car campers (most are). Shropshire is brilliant for car camping, soooo many beautiful places in the countryside 🙂👍

@@BrendanExplores you can wild camp pretty much any where over the border, plenty of mountains and lochs to see and the wildlife is amazing, I lived in Wem most of my life, worked in Shrewsbury.

You might be able to try parking in the national trust carpark at Carding Mill, they have an overflow carpark a bit deeper into the valley that's usually closed off but often has campervans in it. As far as I can tell they must offer some overnight parking, and if your a member it might even be free!
Could even pay by selling bacon sandwiches out the back of the car but the cafe might not like the competition 😂

We used to Car Camp, until the misses wanted a toilet and that resulted in a van conversion, enjoy 👍

Not being judgmental (well maybe a little) but having a crap in the bushes is a bit of a no no, even if it's buried. When I had a small van I used a bucket with a bin liner and some cat litter. When the business is done seal it up and dispose in a bin. No different to dog walkers way of disposing their doggy dumps.
That's fair enough, I respect your opinion 👍 that would be a last resort for sure lol. Local supermarkets would be ideal
@@BrendanExplores I understand the last resort point of view but since covid started so many people thought what a great idea to buy/build a campervan without having a great deal of thought or research into it. Many of the UK beauty spots were inundated by such people and the number one peeve of the locals was the endless piles of cr@p and used bog roll flying around in the wind. This was also a huge problem all over Portugal and Spain, so much so the wild camping on the Iberian peninsula is attracting huge fines. Like I say, I'm not being judgemental just trying to spread the word from the responsible car and van campers. Anyway, I wish you well with your adventures, it's a great lifestyle, enjoy...
