They are good for sticking into things such as curtains, paper, cardboard, or walls (if it is heavy enough). My favorite dart was having a heavy steel “tooth pick” that could pierce cardboard and still have enough kinetic energy in the “tooth pick” to keep flying straight. My latest design is like a blowgun in the shape of a cannon
