My favorite are making planes that spin like a bullet with a pen/unfolded paper clip that are taped to it. They are good for sticking into things such as curtains, paper, cardboard, or walls (if it is heavy enough). My favorite dart was having a heavy steel “tooth pick” that could pierce cardboard and still have enough kinetic energy in the “tooth pick” to keep flying straight. My latest design is like a blowgun in the shape of a cannon
