One of my favorite builds of all time. A few years ago, we made up a bunch of these and had a marshmallow fight all over the neighborhood. It was a wonderful time!
Man, this in Mexico was invented by us 80s and 90s kids cutting out necks out of chlorine or pine scent cleaner bottles because those were pretty much the only plastic bottles that could be cut like this. We used little balls that grew on some trees as ammo and man, those were fun times. We called them "tira-bolitas", which is the spanish for "litte-ball thrower".
There were "gang" fights were me, my brother, and a friend would collect ammunition daily and we would shot another group of kids if they got close to our house and they did the same thing to us. One time there were seven of us fighting as us three were blocking the other kids from reaching the tree we used to collect ammo
+Ondine 524 ho those trees was pricelees, u have to find one to have ammo, and i remember climbing a big one for the " bolitas " great fun, running barefoot in the "monte" under the sun shooting, rattlesnakes, rabbits, turtles, even goats and bulls, great memories, with out any of technology.
(Tip) If you are making these - super shooters- and you don't have a saw use a lighter and heat up the plastic than stab into it with the scissors and start cutting it makes your life 100%easier
I found that plastic BB bullets for air soft guns work great, they go through 3 layers of cardboard at full power and they go through some plastic it depends in how thick the plastic is. But overall I made this and love playing with it.
I used to make these in elementary school over 20 years ago. This is a fun thing to see others enjoy like I did as a kid. I actually got suspended in 3rd grade for taking these to school.

Guys here's a tip Go make this then bring it out on Halloween! When you see a killer clown around you then start shooting right at him/her. Happy Early Halloween!!! 😄🎃. 😈🔪 🔫

For the finger gliding part, I think it is better to wrap that remaining rubber piece around the plastic band/ring thing just to be sure it won’t slip off. Also it makes a better grip too 👍

Its best if the dont cut that far up the bottle. You can make it while leaving a full hand grip.
