@@allengordon6929 it's torture because the bull didn't chose to fight in the first place. it got put there for the sole reason that a man with weapons can slowly kill it in front of thousand people. this isn't nature, where a natural fight between animals is happening, it's a planned thing, forcing the bull to defend itself and then still die at the end, just for entertainment, no other reason
My respects from America. And whoever disagrees with this, Put Up Or Shut Up. Whoever is against bull fighting and saying making dumb comparisons, like "they should fight naked, starved, and with no weapon." then ask yourself, when is the last time you looked the animal you've killed in the eye and given it a chance to kill you back? It's skewed in the Matador's favor of course, but his life is still on the line. Yours are not. So Put Up, Or Shut Up.
Haha, right, because it's completely necessary to even have the event in the first place. Gotta kill a thing in somewhat even combat, that makes it better and more honorable. What beautiful lies we tell ourselves to distract from ugly truths.
my belief is to kill an animal for food. nOt so you can pretend to be gallant and brave when all you're doing is waving around a cloth, waiting to impale the beast. There is no bravery or honor in this sport, it's all feigned. We're talking about a confused bull against a nimble human with a spear. There's no point in the game, just a foolish attempt to impress the masses. The only good part of the sport i when the player gets trampled or impaled by the bull. He had it coming.
They eat the animal afterwards so what is different from that and having them confined in cramped barns till it is there time to die, where their throats are slit and they are hung tp let all the blood out
Your human emotions say that throat slit + hung up = worse. I don't agree with killing any animal, but bull fights are no better. The bulls are kept in hot cramped pens with loud noises all around them, they are riled up and stressed out, then thrown into a ring where they are confused and impaled multiple times until they don't have the strength left to stand. There is no honor in any of it. Honor is a pretty little lie you tell yourself so you don't have to truly deal with it.
some people just enjoy cruel atrocities for "entertainments" sake. Have they never heard of a horror movie? It's ten times more thrilling and a lot less cruel
I love how many comments are talking about bullfighting and why it's wrong. 1) this video isn't about that it is about the work that goes into the garments and 2) this really speaks to how disconnected Westerners are to the food they eat. So it is okay when they are killed in where you can't see so you can eat them but not in public? Animals that are kept in meat farms for our consumption are treated much worse. Cows are constantly kept in a state of pregnancy for milk production. Bulls and cows are given no space to roam and are killed mercilessly for their meat. Bulls for fights are kept healthy and in large farms (hardly ever more than 5 per barn). Their meat is given out to the audience after shows or prepared in a soup and given out. Next time you criticize bullfighting but down the hamburger and eggs first. At least these people have the audacity to look their food dead in the eyes before they kill it.
