This is super helpful! I just started trying skin cycling with your tip of adding an extra retinol night. I was worried I couldn’t use my niacinamide with retinol, vitamin c, etc. but I’m going to go back to using it now!
I just purchased the La Roche Posay Toleriane night moisturizer, two new and unopened bottles for $27! It has some peptides, squalene, glycerin, and niacinamide. I will not buy a separate product for niacinamide, I think these niacinamide serums are just silly. I truly appreciate your contact and everything that you put up here!
omg this came at perfect timing!!!! i’ve been having a pigmentation issue with my skin and decided to buy a niacinamide serum literally yesterday. and i wasn’t sure how to use it without damaging my skin thank you sooo much!!!!
I formulate my own skin care and recently made a new moisturizer with 5% niacinamide. My skin is loving it! I’ve never heard of 10% panthenol in a product. That’s something I need to research because I usually only use about 1-2%. Very intriguing.
Oh gosh there are so many active ingredients for skincare to consider. Should I care more about getting Vitamin A ( Retinol) Vitamin E or Vitamin B or Vitamin C...or Collagen or Hyaluronic acid? There is no skin product that has them all...And many of those with more ingredients get exponentially more expensive ( measuring by price/liter ). I don't want overwhelm myself but I am willing to spend some money but I don't know what would priority list be. From your videos I got the feeling Vitamin A is most important ( together with proper usage of course ) but after that I'm not sure who would be on second or third place by importance? ( also I appreciate your reply from previous video ty for that!! )
I have problems to find the right routine for my oily skin..I ordered so much products from Paulas Choice. What are your recommendations for oily skin? Or can you do a series of Ingriedients for different skin types? Sorry for my bad english..greetings from Germany :)
i use a cerve toner that has hylaronic acid and naicinimide. i got it to help heal my skin barrier - should i be using that daily? bc i do😅 my rosacea is still horrible but nothing ever helps that so 🤷🏼♀️
I have rosacea and the only thing that works for me is Finacea foam (which is azelaic acid). It worked like magic for me when NOTHING else helped. Have you tried it? I'm in remission and have been for a few years now, thankfully.
i bought some niacinamide recently and used it for 2 weeks and started to breakout. it stopped after i stopped using it but i’m not sure if this was a coincidence or not. is it possible that it could cause breakouts?
I breakout every time I use it. I used it for a year and couldn’t figure out why my skin was going crazy but once I stopped using it, my skin started to clear. Then I used a different brand and the same thing happened
You mention waiting between products before layering, what does this mean for diy-ing creams? I generally use a cerave moisturising cream + Rosehip oil as a base. Then rotate between adding a few drops of the ordinaries nic + zinc, retinol, peptides and vit c. I even mix some of rationales creams in some days 😬
I saw that niacinamide supposedly lightens your skin and that was kinda scary to me, so I stopped using it. Its a shame, because it was working well on my acne. What do you think?
Lightens is often misused/misunderstood in skincare. Most of the time brands really mean to decrease hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The only compound I can think of that actually lightens the tone of your skin (as in it makes you paler) is glutathione which I've seen only in pill form in the US
If you are trying to treat a skin ailment / achieve something requiring medical intervention (lasers, prescriptions, injections, etc..) then definitely a derm!
If it's not requiring a prescription/ medical intervention there are specific aestheticians that are nurses that can perform lasers and injections but they have to be medically qualified (Registered nurse).
Mrs Sofia is the best, recommending her to all beginners who wants to recover from their losses and gain more like I did through her strategies.,
I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Mrs sofia
I think she is the best broker I ever seen
You'll have to write to her on What's App,
Are availabilities☝☝️ is sure on WhatsApp..
I remember friends calling me crazy when I started but now I shut up them with my four figure weekly returned

Happy the timing was good for this and you found it helpful!
You should do a collaboration with Dr. Shereene Idriss! I love science and both of your channels! ❤
Love her!!
Love the ingredient breakdowns!
Ive been trying the Cera Ve resurfacing serum, it feels so nice on the skin
Yes! It is so good.

Panthenol is usually used at 5% or less I think this is the only product I've used with it at 10
I love that Purito lotion
Did not know niacinamide was an antioxidant!

Yes daily use of the HA + Niacinamide toner is great for your skin!!
Oooh I actually made it first today 😊

If it is working for you then that's ok! Sometimes when people are sensitive they can benefit from just waiting a little bit.
I take Niacin B3 through 500mg capsule...

also - sorry just curious - i’ve always been wary of estheticians bc like… seems like i should just go to a derm. what are your thoughts?
