i’ve never had anybody cut my bangs how i like them and you explained it perfectly! not sure if a lot of hairdressers know this technique. when i went to cosmetology school, we never focused on bangs. when we all finished school, nobody really knew how to cut them! and i feel like a lot of people still don’t. thanks so much for this video!
Unfortunately school only teaches how to pass the exam, not how get technical with haircuts. This technique I've mastered over years and lots of shag haircuts and from taking classes from other stylists :) Glad you liked it!! Bangs are so important!

I have gone to salons in 3 different states and only ONCE in Chicago a stylist understood what I wanted, which is this EXACT look!! Thank you so much for this tutorial! A few days ago I had my hair cut by a professional who made may hair look just horrible. At least he left enough of my bangs that I could follow your tutorial and make my hair look much better. I have tried different professionals, but the ones in my country just don’t know how to cut women’s hair short.

Wonderful tutorial!!! I live in Alabama and seems no one knows any of these techniques. I’ve had soooo many bad haircuts. I think it’s an epidemic. I hate heavy bangs and they never seem to do it right. Wish you lived here, you definitely would be my hairdresser!!!

Depends on the texture, but I would leave it longer just in case it doesn't go well.
I would like to have seen the back how to shape and thin that out too with tge razor comb. I have fine hair too but my fringe grows in a thick slab and needs thinning. Thank you for the instructions. Xx

You give great instructions! Could you do a video for short wavy hair? I've got the back but sides and fringe are tough. Seems like all the DIY pixie cut videos are for straight hair
2:15 it's your hair in the center going more forward on your forehead not receding, it's called a widow's peak. Some people have a straight/curved hairline, and others have a widow's peak ☺️

I have extremely thick hair as you can tell in my picture and I cut my own hair and I'm not a hair stylist but I worked in a salon as a receptionist for like 10 years so I thank you very much.now all I have to do is just buy a decent pair of hair cutting scissors! what was that spray that she had bought redken what did anyone catch that it was redken and it was some kind of spray to hold together and be able to shape it and everything?. If anyone knows can you please tell me about the product that she used in her hair and if anyone knows where a cheap place I can go to buy a pair of hair cutting scissors and also I've just been always cutting my hair with regular scissors LOL I only recently started going to the salon every 2 months or so because I was just starting to make a mess out of it because I'm on a lot of anxiety medication and I was really messing it up real bad whereas I used to do a pretty good job
Very big question, will this work much different if I do it with my very thick hair? Also, love the way you explained! Is not frequent to see well explained videos for cuting one self hair
I can't guarantee the results, especially if you're going from long to short (that's a project best left to a professional) but the technique is the same. Pay attention to your hairline and take VERY small sections, cut dry and adjust accordingly. So happy you like it.

You need a seriously pretty face to wear a pixie. Keep in mind too if your hair in front of the ears is thinner, it won't look good. For both reasons I'm growing mine out.
There's always a way around it. I have very thin hair at the top but with the cut and products you can make it look thicker. Thank you for your comment 💖 HNY!
