As someone who just began taking golf more seriously about a 18 months ago, I can say with 100% certainty that perhaps the most important thing I've learned to date is that the golf ball you hit matters. Like many people, I was ignorant of the DRAMATIC differences between golf ball models and types and once I caught on, and matched my club speed to the right ball, I saw instant results. The Callaway SuperSoft was the one for me and it added 10 yards to my drives, I absolutely fell in love with it. At any level of play, doing the homework is well worth the time!
Wanna improve the chrome soft??Roll em back to 37.00 dollars like when they were introduced.Been out about 5 years and the price goes up 10 dollars a dozen..nonsense.
I went from regular Chrome soft to Chrome soft X LS, and I love them! You get way more spin around the greens than you would think. It's basically "low spinning" on your longer clubs, driver-7i. But shorter irons and wedges do get spin! It's a great ball, performs consistently and I love the triple track, I just wish my Odyssey #7 had the triple track alignment as well! I'm thinking of trying the Odyssey 2 ball w/triple track next time I change putters! Thanks for the Great video!
Been a Titleist ball user forever but hearing a ton on X LS so I bought a dozen to test out as the year finishes out. Like the fact that MyGolfSpy gave it a good grade and have watched Johnny test it out, has me excited to get it on the course. Could be my ball for 2023.
It's legit. I bounced between TP5x, Pro V1x & Chrome Soft X for a while. The LS has the speed of the "X" balls but is straighter off the tee and more stable in the wind for me. Definitely worth a tryout.
So far so good. Longer than the ProV1 at least for me. Like that my spinny right miss off the tee is not as bad either. Trying to dial in the spin around the green. I think I found my gamer for 2023
Hi i am a 7 handicap....58 years old...swing speed of 90-94 mph with driver....... hit a fairly straight high ball....which ball would you think would suit me best....thx...cheers from Canada
Chrome Soft should be a more responsive ball at your club speed but it also depends on how much spin you’re willing to sacrifice based on your ability.
X LS is a phenomenal ball! I was always an AD333 fan boy but the LS is looooooong off the tee and lovely to putt! Everyone should try one before judging.
Our hexagonal surface geometry uses varying sizes to maximize coverage and varying depths to optimize our coefficient of lift and drag for improved ball flight. So short answer is for SCIENCE!

Annnnnnnnd they discontinued the ChromeSoft X LS with the new release of Chrome Tour. WHY Callaway?!? WHY???? Time to start hoarding. The internet does seem to say that the Chrome Tour is similar to the ChromeSoft X LS but slightly better sounding at impact. Xander did win the PGA championship with it and used to play the X LS, so maybe all is ok

It would be really helpful if you showed the data for each club/ball combo so we can see the numbers for each ball and determine which we should play.
