Since when was it established that Green Lanterns wear literally nothing under their supersuit? The suit is a manifestation of the ring, but for Stewart to be wearing only boxers under his supersuit, means that he woke up in the morning, showered, put on self-branded Green Lantern boxers, and then put on the ring, and manifested his suit to go out and do stuff. That'd be like a firefighter wearing only undies under his fireproof overalls, or a spaceman wearing nothing but boxers under his spacesuit. It's stupid, contrived, and the ONLY reason it's done in this game, is because the writers wanted to have yet another laugh at this hero's expense.
It would make sense if he woke up and the world was under attack already, and had to suit up really quick. But no. Canotically wise? Brainiac didn't attack until AFTER he took over the League.
Notice how the black superhero was done the dirtiest compared to the others? Don't get me wrong Flash and Batman's deaths were just detestable but at least they showed how much of a threat they are and somewhat displayed their abilities accurately.
Batman in this game doesn't Batman. He walks into a trap that he KNOWS is a trap with no plan. That's not Batman. That's the level of intelligence that the story writers themselves had.

They could've just wrote a story where Batman was the first target. Through teamwork and frantic fighting, and a little assistance from either wonder woman or flash, Batman is freed from the mind control. Then he goes on to use his contingency plans assisted by the suicide squad. I get it they want a boss fight with each JL member. So why not make flash and wonder woman succumb to mind control later in the story? This way the suicide squad isn't killing the league, they're freeing them. Then the whole league with a fully upgraded suicide squad take on Brainiac together. I don't believe I am the first one to think of this. The writers at the end of the day are employees and they have to follow orders in order to get paid.
The fact that they had Batman captured alive, but never try to reverse the mind manipulation is beyond dumb. Like Hooray you defeated Superman, now live in terror anticipating the next visit from Daddy Darkseid or Mongul.

What sucks is that the Batman fight had an amazing build-up. With Batman picking the squads one-by-one, we could finally see a POV shot of Batman going stealthy. It would've been so cool to be trapped in the Batcave with Batman hunting us down like a predator, with the squad growing more tense and terrified the deeper the fight goes. Instead, they made him Scarecrow 2.0...
What confuses me here is that Barry was obviously not beyond saving. And on top of that most of his rogue's gallery(captain boomerang included) like him. It would have been better if they had Boomerang pull the trigger after talking about better times with he had with Barry. They could have killed the justice league with dignity.

Yknow the main issue is the powerscaling of this game of HOW the squad can even touch the League even with the technology. They couldve solved 90% of the big issue of squad plot armor by yknow... HAVING WONDER WOMAN BE AN ASSIST CHARACTER WITH THE SQUAD DURING THE FIGHTS.. just like that you make the fights more believable since she's one of the most powerful and fastest members of the league. So her doing the heavy lifting in the boss fights against flash and lantern wouldve SOLVED 90% of the power issue of the squad not instantly dying
Or they could have chosen stronger Suicide Squad members. They could have used Deathstroke insted of Deadshot. Deathstroke, who was the anti-Batman for decades, who won multiple times against Batman, and has enchanced abilities because of the super soldir serum. XD. Even their strategies are similar, contingency plans on top of contingency plans. And he succesfully kicked the asses of the Titans, who has some pretty OP members like Starfire. Or they could have recruited Black Adam, who was in fact a member of the Suicide Squad in the cmoics. Or could have used Artemis (an Amazon, who was the member of both teh Suicide Squad, and Jason's Outlaws) There are so many better choices they could have made using the source material (from the comics)

Flash tore out Lex's heart, and could have done the same to all of those clowns. They should have died when Flash started running circles around them. Do you know what that does in the comics? It sucks the air right out of your lungs. Superman, veryone could have killed them. They have been incapacitated by both Batman, and GL. Totally at their mercy. The SS only was left live because the rest of the story had to happen.

The squad's plot armor is so strong, that none of them are battle damaged from fighting 4 of the 5 league members. Meaning canonically to the game they no-diffed the Flash, GL, Batman and Superman without so much as a scratch. Mean while the latter are battle damaged, or choking on their own blood before their deaths.
They literally bought 95 percent of the plot armor from the store injected 30 ton plot armor to their blood and a plot armor cevlar 9 that is so thick it makes rob leifeled characters look skinny in comparison
It's crazy they didn't stop to think just once that the 'brainwashing without redemption' plot would make any feasible sense for Arkham Batman of all characters.. the same guy who actively fought against Joker, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter AND Scarecrow who all used some form of manipulation or brainwashing through the Arkham games. For Flash, it's never brought up once that brainwashing a Speedster is extremely difficult due to how fast their brain processes stimuli. Also, not sure why they thought a brainwashed Barry still acting goofy was a sensible thing to write. My main problem with how they did John is that (besides Shark picking up the ring immediately after)... They never once mentioned that John's will should be actively fighting against Braniac the entire time, this was a whole plot point in the comics with John and the Indigo Tribe. Also no other GL came after he died? Would the Guardians not immediately send an SOS to the entire Green corps on John's death? Wouldn't the other Lantern corps like the Red Lanterns show up to take advantage of the situation? Just leave the most valuable Earth sector Lantern in his briefs on the rooftop for laughs, sure. Such bad writing overall and so many plot holes and inconsistencies. I can't wait for them to claim "they were just clones!" and have the Squad fight the other 12 Brainiacs they teased at the end with no issue at all 🙄
To put it in perspective. Batman is very fast, reacts fast, strong, has been known to be able to take down 5 criminals in under a sec, is very quiet, has explosive gel, batarangs, has learned multiple martial arts, has smoke pellets, barely needs sleep, can glide, has a Utility belt filled with everythong known to man, and he's smart. If this is a clone or not. And brainiac basically wanted to have him. All he needed to do was use Batman. Brainiac automatically won as you know. Fight Batman once and he won't lose the second time. Or might as well just win the first time. Soooooo. Oh! I forgot to mention. But it suit is bulletproof in the chest, multiple areas, and oh what can be guesses. His cowl. It's bulletproof as well. The wirst that would happen is just some pain in the area later
What irks me the most about the whole brainiac thing is Superman should have been aware of him as Superman has knowledge of all the known galaxies wired into his brain by his daddy/fortress and also Brainiac in some origins is tired to Krypton. There should have been zero reason for Brainiac to have rolled up to earth without Superman going apeshit.
Don't forget that Green Lantern literally talks about being ablet to go round for round with Sinestro, the leader of the Yellow Lantern Corps and a ridiculously powerful and competent villain at that who serves as Green Lantern's quintessential foe (even if he's Hal Jordon's archenemy, not Jon Stewart's). We also know in canon that the whole reason Yellow Lanterns are even available to the Suicide Squad is because the Justice League defeated the entire Yellow Lantern Corps in the past, likely in this universe's equivalent of the "Sinestro Corps War" comicbook storyline. When Batman tells Jon that the Squad have Yellow Lantern Tech, he says "they better bring the whole Yellow Lantern Corps." Even if that's arrogance speaking, it still points to the obvious problem of how them beating Green Lantern is such a reach. I'd be like if they treated Mr. Freeze's suit or Bane's venom as a straight-up counter to Batman even though he's beaten Freeze and Bane time and time again. How the hell are the Suicide Squad beating Green Lantern with the Yellow Lantern Corps' hand-me-downs? They aren't even using Yellow Lantern Rings, they're just using Yellow Lanterns to increase the power of their guns. How are the hell are they doing with what Sinestro and his squad couldn't? Did Green Lantern's toxic masculinity give him a debuff against Harley or some nonsense? The divergence between Wonder Woman's treatment and the rest of the characters is also so extremely jarring. Flash literally saved their lives twice and got pissed on. Wonder Woman was antagonistic to them and they treat her like she's some close friend, even the less insane ones like Boomerang, who we discover is kinda overblowing he dumb he is intentionally in the ARGUS tapes, who wants to get back at Green Lantern for earlier forcing him to "sell out Wonder Shelia." We all know why they went for this creative decision, though. I refuse to ignore the obvious.

It is not hard to believe that the writers had The Boys in their heads when writing the Justice League in this game, for all the wrong reasons. People really have a hard time understanding that stuff like The Boys or Watchmen is a telling of what heroes should NOT be, not "Hey it'd be cool if all heroes were like this!"
If I had written my books faster, we could have thrown in Shadow Sisters for good measure, especially with it's storyline with a group of mercenaries killing off superheroes. But at least in Shadow Sisters, those mercenaries who call themselves the Overkillers are presented as the antagonists while we focus on a family of superheroes trying to save the other GeneHumans in their city from the Overkillers who have already wiped out the supervillains and are now killing the heroes because their leader Killian Murdercorpse blames Danny Shadow for the death of his wife and daughter and never trusted anyone with superpowers. For the record, Danny, or as he is better known as Forceman didn't pay enough attention to the bystanders when he fought Lady Terra, and Camilla and Jenny Murdercorpse were crushed by a rock he deflected. So now he tries so hard to prevent deaths, which is getting hard with the Overkillers' reckless actions endangering normal civilians. Oh, and the Overkillers have a Death Star-like space station called the Planet Overkiller because Murdercorpse has gotten so insane with revenge that he would dare to destroy his own planet! Killian Murdercorpse who lost his wife and child in the collateral damage in a superhero vs. villain battle is a total hypocrite going after innocent GeneHumans that he only hated just for being born with powers, and hardly caring about the powerless civilians getting hit by stray bullets burned in the explosives. The Overkillers really do live up to their name. And yet, they are regarded as heroes in-universe because they've killed all the supervillains in Wilmette, one of which is Lady Terra, the one who had Earthbending powers who really tarnished the GeneHuman community's reputation with her speeches preaching that GeneHumans are better than "mortals." And she was Murdercorpse's first victim because of her part in the death of his family. And Lady Terra's Sisterhood of GeneHumans were purged by the Overkillers. Male allies of the Sisterhood, gone. Supervillains who aren't interested in Lady Terra's goals but just steal and murder as a hobby, also dead. And even with the Overkillers killing heroes after they were done with the villains, they're still popular because Lady Terra's terrorism made many people afraid of superpowers and the news reporter Kathryn Kaitlin Kennedy had doxxed the superheroes and exposed all their sins and mistakes, which tarnished their reputation even more. However, the Shadows would destroy the Planet Overkiller after evacuating the bad guys from it first, and Kennedy would be forced to end her show exposing the truth about the Overkillers.

It's ironic that Rocksteady gave us one of, if not, the best Batman we've ever seen. Yet, the _same_ studio also gave us one of, if not, the worst Justice League _(especially Superman)_ we've ever seen.
This game should have had a horror movie like feeling and tension. These are the worlds greatest heroes and yet the most dangerous threat on the planet and are now willing to kill with a alien of 9th level intellect and a whole army backing them up.This game should have had a dreadfully tone, it should feel like everytime you are out on the streets of metropolis your going to be surrounded and doomed. Game is too happy for the premise.

There’s also the fact that when the squad encounter Batman for the first time, we see him kill two people with zero, I mean ZERO, hesitation. If there’s one thing I know about Batman, it’s that he has a no killing rule, and since this is a Batman whose under mind control and has no qualms about killing, there is no reason that he doesn’t kill the squad instead of knocking them out. I like to look for the best in things, but this game’s story is just so bad. The amount of plot armor the squad has is ridiculous. And people think Peter was nerfed in Spider-Man 2. At least he still won in that game. If you know about the feats Arkham Batman has made in ONE of his games, then you know that it’s absolutely stupid that he would lose to these four idiots. That’s just me, anyway.
To add on to your comments about GL being shown dead in only his underwear, the writers for this game clearly didn't know anything about the power ring outside of basic knowledge. The GL suit isn't like Spider-Man's or Superman's suit where they wear it under their clothes. It's a construct formed by the power ring, meaning the suit forms over the user's clothes. So unless Jon just enjoys walking around in only his underwear, he should've been fully clothed after he lost the ring.
This seems like the perfect situation to call in Lobo and maybe throw in Deathstroke for good measure. These are 2 who probably could actually kill the justice league without the need for plot armor or just dumb luck even if you have to buy there loyalty

In the end of arkham origins, Amanda did give deathstroke a choice to join her or rot in a cell. So really if Amanda wanted she could've gotten Deathstroke to come in to deal with batman since he's pretty much the only guy to keep up with arkham batman.

I hate how much all members of the league talk in this game. Every five seconds Batman is chirping in the Squad’s ear saying “The shark is on a rampage!” or “Our forces are getting devastated!” When would Batman ever freak out and say something dumb like that when he gets angry. His whole shtick is being stoic and unbreakable
Here is what I would have done to fix the game. 1. Don't call the title Suicide Squad kills the Justice League give it something different like Suicide Squad vs The Justice League. Number 2 would be don't set it in the Arkham Universe give it its own Universe and Number 3 the plot would be Brainiac captured and mind controlled the Justice league and you are trying to free them with the help of Amanda Waller and Lex Luthor's help. Number 4. Don't limit us to just 4 Suicide squad members add like 16 members so we can swap out different characters and give them different roles like Bane and Killer Croc could have tank roles while Blood Sport and Dead shot could have range and Enchantress could be magic etc. and Also unique talent trees that add more abilities to that character depending on which path you take. Number 5. Whenever you free a Justice league member than can become your ally and help you along the way with different stuff like if you free up batman he can help with gadgets and some other stuff. Also make the encounters engaging and not boring when you fight one of the Justice league members. For doing this method what's nice is for DLC you can add more Justice league characters that Brainiac has taken over that you can do awesome boss fights with and become more ally's that will help you with your character and journey along the way and can also add more Suicide characters as well to play as.
Even netherrealm studios knows how to portray the justice league better than rocksteady. Despite injustice portraying its own characters like superman and wonder woman and aquaman.

This is where the games writing fundamentally fails, and it has to do with this new generation of writers across all media. Every character doesn’t need to be redeemable, and this new push of Suicide Squad related media and Harley Quinn are the number 1 offenders. I could see a universe where a game like this does work, if they really put you in the shoes of the villains and let you go crazy. But they are trying to make these characters likable anti heroes and making the real heroes into nihilistic versions of themselves. Harley Quinn is a VILLAIN. Is her origin tragic? Yes. Is she a victim of circumstance? Yes. Is she a psychopathic serial killer who has murdered countless innocent people including children? YES. It’s WEIRD as fuck to expect an audience who knows all this to try and empathize with characters who are HORRIBLE people while they literally PISS ON THE GRAVE, or some of our childhood icons. It’s backwards.
They could've done more to at least humanize her if they made her more empathetic or distraught while killing Batman. I'm sure that'd win more than her giving him a reasons you suck speech...

So I’m confused about King Shark controlling the lantern ring. Ppl have said only the ring can choose the weirder but I’ve seen in other medias where other ppl have taken the ring like in The Batman where Penguin got his hands on the ring (which was meant for Batman) and he was using it just fine.

I really think the writers could have put more capable people into the Suicide Squad. They could have used Deathstroke, who is/was the AntiBatman, and kicked the asses of the Teen Titans (who has some serious OP members like Starfire). The Suicide Squad had ton of members in the comics, they writer could have used those stronger members. (Like Artemis, Black Adam, Bronze Tiger, Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire etc)
It’s so hard to understand how they got the writing and story so badly. It almost feels intentional after shows like Harley Quinn on Max or being overly clever about how not like themselves the “clone JL” are. When the Green lantern died Shark just used the ring then it got discarded in the water , the ring chooses the user and if the user is dead the ring goes off and finds a user who represents the willpower. I’m glad the rest of the league was spared from this humiliation.

You really can't though. In this case, they took character traits of existing characters and just removed them. Batman doesn't just waltz into traps with no plan, that's not Batman. Superman doesn't just blindly trust an alien on a giant skull shaped ship, he's not that gullible. Wonder Woman isn't a stuck up moron, either, she'd have taken action a lot sooner than 3 weeks after the initial incident. My point is that the developers wrote the characters into the dirt for seemingly no reason at all. The game wasn't just unnecessary, it was repetitive, boring, and just stupid. So it's not just every game where the bad guy kicks the good guy into the dirt. This was a very different type of disrespect to one of the most iconic superhero teams in existence.

The funny thing is character wise this is one of the best representations of the league, obviously I mean before they get mind controlled or cloned or whatever the twist is gonna be. Before everyone argues hear me out, the holograms in the hall of justice show us really good representations of them as well as the audio logs having great team banter I only wish it was in a dedicated JL game. The game sucked! Not sure why WB was trying to push Suicide Squad for the past few years as if there's some big name squad that everybody loves. Nobody wanted a Suicide Squad game except for their little niche of fans which is not enough to make people want to buy and play this game continuously. Then you have them kill off the greatest superhero teen which is blasphemous. Yeah they may be clones or whatever but it still sucked.
This game is... odd... in the sense that it understands what these characters are, and how good of people they are as heros especially in a team, when they're not being mind controlled, and making them uncomfortably evil in a -good way- when they are, but... they go about it in such an awful way when the Squad kills each one. Green Lantern: Executed during a cringe one liner, lmao he has green boxers?! XD Flash: Literally saves the team -twice- and is shown to be a good kid outside of his conditioning, Boomerang proceeds to piss on his corpse which isn't funny but just downright disturbing esp seeing as Flash saved his life. Wonder Woman: An idiot throughout the entire game who gets owned by King Shark words of all people pointing out her friends can't be saved, yet gets praise because 'le woman'. Batman: Gets a pretentious speech from Harley despite the fact Batman (In terms of the Arkahm cannon) has absolutely dismissed Harley with ease on multiple occasions, then getting executed without a fight. Superman: Im bored at this point cba you know what happens. Point is, I think the game had potential, but fuck me it was ruined so badly.

Okay so I watch med the let’s play and the speed force thing meant to counter flashes powers is the only point I’ll give you, 1. John Stewart’s weakness is fear which is what the weapons the squad used against him. 2.Batman is a human granted smart and well equipped but still human, I’m glad he got humble the way he did he deserved it. 3. Superman is my favorite justice league character, but even I know about gold kryptonite, every time he gets cut or wounded by it, that wound stays there forever, that’s right, there are no healings or restarts with gold kryptonite, it also completely strips him of his powers if he get hurt enough by it. 4. Would you trust the squad if you if you Wonder Woman, there was an apocalypse and boomerang still went after the flash and was about to injure him or worse, I’m betting worse, they can’t be trusted.

It’s sad because this is the Justice League first debut in this universe. The League of many of the members would of not go mind-controlled that easily like Batman. In fact he was the one who adjusted not to aborde Brainiac”s ship knowing full well it’s a trap! This JL could of came up with a back up plan or call other heros in the universe. What about the other Green Lantherns in the Lantern Core? Wonder Woman’s people? If I was a hero that learns a alien that attacks a city is in danger I would go there with other heros to stop it! I do give the game this, the boss themes are great and fits who the characters are very well, everything else is feels like lazy writing and the Justice League been nerfed just for the sack of the plot! That’s why I’m not this game, I’ll rather spend money in a good game like Hogwarts Legacy! They actually do care for the fan base and make the story fun, the combat epic and the music is just a chefs kiss, and don’t get me started in the visuals of the game, just magical and so breath tacking! But unfortunately this game doesn’t have any of that, epic for the music and King Shark which are the only good things in the game. I’m not a fan of DC that much, I just know about them but still I just feel bad for the DC fans among us. Being the bad guys and facing corrupted heros is a great idea, just was not executed great.

Since when was it established that Green Lanterns wear literally nothing under their supersuit? The suit is a manifestation of the ring, but for Stewart to be wearing only boxers under his supersuit, means that he woke up in the morning, showered, put on self-branded Green Lantern boxers, and then put on the ring, and manifested his suit to go out and do stuff. That'd be like a firefighter wearing only undies under his fireproof overalls, or a spaceman wearing nothing but boxers under his spacesuit. It's stupid, contrived, and the ONLY reason it's done in this game, is because the writers wanted to have yet another laugh at this hero's expense.

They could've just wrote a story where Batman was the first target. Through teamwork and frantic fighting, and a little assistance from either wonder woman or flash, Batman is freed from the mind control. Then he goes on to use his contingency plans assisted by the suicide squad.
I get it they want a boss fight with each JL member. So why not make flash and wonder woman succumb to mind control later in the story? This way the suicide squad isn't killing the league, they're freeing them. Then the whole league with a fully upgraded suicide squad take on Brainiac together.
I don't believe I am the first one to think of this. The writers at the end of the day are employees and they have to follow orders in order to get paid.

What sucks is that the Batman fight had an amazing build-up. With Batman picking the squads one-by-one, we could finally see a POV shot of Batman going stealthy. It would've been so cool to be trapped in the Batcave with Batman hunting us down like a predator, with the squad growing more tense and terrified the deeper the fight goes. Instead, they made him Scarecrow 2.0...

What confuses me here is that Barry was obviously not beyond saving. And on top of that most of his rogue's gallery(captain boomerang included) like him. Yknow the main issue is the powerscaling of this game of HOW the squad can even touch the League even with the technology. They couldve solved 90% of the big issue of squad plot armor by yknow... HAVING WONDER WOMAN BE AN ASSIST CHARACTER WITH THE SQUAD DURING THE FIGHTS.. just like that you make the fights more believable since she's one of the most powerful and fastest members of the league. So her doing the heavy lifting in the boss fights against flash and lantern wouldve SOLVED 90% of the power issue of the squad not instantly dying

They could have used Deathstroke insted of Deadshot. Deathstroke, who was the anti-Batman for decades, who won multiple times against Batman, and has enchanced abilities because of the super soldir serum. XD. Even their strategies are similar, contingency plans on top of contingency plans. And he succesfully kicked the asses of the Titans, who has some pretty OP members like Starfire.
Or they could have recruited Black Adam, who was in fact a member of the Suicide Squad in the cmoics. Or could have used Artemis (an Amazon, who was the member of both teh Suicide Squad, and Jason's Outlaws)

Flash tore out Lex's heart, and could have done the same to all of those clowns.

The squad's plot armor is so strong, that none of them are battle damaged from fighting 4 of the 5 league members.
Meaning canonically to the game they no-diffed the Flash, GL, Batman and Superman without so much as a scratch.
Mean while the latter are battle damaged, or choking on their own blood before their deaths.
They literally bought 95 percent of the plot armor from the store injected 30 ton plot armor to their blood and a plot armor cevlar 9 that is so thick it makes rob leifeled characters look skinny in comparison
It's crazy they didn't stop to think just once that the 'brainwashing without redemption' plot would make any feasible sense for Arkham Batman of all characters.. the same guy who actively fought against Joker, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter AND Scarecrow who all used some form of manipulation or brainwashing through the Arkham games. For Flash, it's never brought up once that brainwashing a Speedster is extremely difficult due to how fast their brain processes stimuli. Also, not sure why they thought a brainwashed Barry still acting goofy was a sensible thing to write. My main problem with how they did John is that (besides Shark picking up the ring immediately after)... They never once mentioned that John's will should be actively fighting against Braniac the entire time, this was a whole plot point in the comics with John and the Indigo Tribe. Also no other GL came after he died? Would the Guardians not immediately send an SOS to the entire Green corps on John's death? Wouldn't the other Lantern corps like the Red Lanterns show up to take advantage of the situation? Just leave the most valuable Earth sector Lantern in his briefs on the rooftop for laughs, sure. Such bad writing overall and so many plot holes and inconsistencies. I can't wait for them to claim "they were just clones!" and have the Squad fight the other 12 Brainiacs they teased at the end with no issue at all 🙄
To put it in perspective. Batman is very fast, reacts fast, strong, has been known to be able to take down 5 criminals in under a sec, is very quiet, has explosive gel, batarangs, has learned multiple martial arts, has smoke pellets, barely needs sleep, can glide, has a Utility belt filled with everythong known to man, and he's smart. If this is a clone or not. And brainiac basically wanted to have him. All he needed to do was use Batman. Brainiac automatically won as you know. Fight Batman once and he won't lose the second time. Or might as well just win the first time. Soooooo. Oh! I forgot to mention. But it suit is bulletproof in the chest, multiple areas, and oh what can be guesses. His cowl. It's bulletproof as well. The wirst that would happen is just some pain in the area later
What irks me the most about the whole brainiac thing is Superman should have been aware of him as Superman has knowledge of all the known galaxies wired into his brain by his daddy/fortress and also Brainiac in some origins is tired to Krypton. There should have been zero reason for Brainiac to have rolled up to earth without Superman going apeshit.

Don't forget that Green Lantern literally talks about being ablet to go round for round with Sinestro, the leader of the Yellow Lantern Corps and a ridiculously powerful and competent villain at that who serves as Green Lantern's quintessential foe (even if he's Hal Jordon's archenemy, not Jon Stewart's).
We also know in canon that the whole reason Yellow Lanterns are even available to the Suicide Squad is because the Justice League defeated the entire Yellow Lantern Corps in the past, likely in this universe's equivalent of the "Sinestro Corps War" comicbook storyline. When Batman tells Jon that the Squad have Yellow Lantern Tech, he says "they better bring the whole Yellow Lantern Corps." Even if that's arrogance speaking, it still points to the obvious problem of how them beating Green Lantern is such a reach. I'd be like if they treated Mr. Freeze's suit or Bane's venom as a straight-up counter to Batman even though he's beaten Freeze and Bane time and time again.
How the hell are the Suicide Squad beating Green Lantern with the Yellow Lantern Corps' hand-me-downs? They aren't even using Yellow Lantern Rings, they're just using Yellow Lanterns to increase the power of their guns. How are the hell are they doing with what Sinestro and his squad couldn't?

The divergence between Wonder Woman's treatment and the rest of the characters is also so extremely jarring. Flash literally saved their lives twice and got pissed on. Wonder Woman was antagonistic to them and they treat her like she's some close friend, even the less insane ones like Boomerang, who we discover is kinda overblowing he dumb he is intentionally in the ARGUS tapes, who wants to get back at Green Lantern for earlier forcing him to "sell out Wonder Shelia."

It is not hard to believe that the writers had The Boys in their heads when writing the Justice League in this game, for all the wrong reasons.
People really have a hard time understanding that stuff like The Boys or Watchmen is a telling of what heroes should NOT be, not "Hey it'd be cool if all heroes were like this!"
If I had written my books faster, we could have thrown in Shadow Sisters for good measure, especially with it's storyline with a group of mercenaries killing off superheroes. But at least in Shadow Sisters, those mercenaries who call themselves the Overkillers are presented as the antagonists while we focus on a family of superheroes trying to save the other GeneHumans in their city from the Overkillers who have already wiped out the supervillains and are now killing the heroes because their leader Killian Murdercorpse blames Danny Shadow for the death of his wife and daughter and never trusted anyone with superpowers. For the record, Danny, or as he is better known as Forceman didn't pay enough attention to the bystanders when he fought Lady Terra, and Camilla and Jenny Murdercorpse were crushed by a rock he deflected. So now he tries so hard to prevent deaths, which is getting hard with the Overkillers' reckless actions endangering normal civilians. Oh, and the Overkillers have a Death Star-like space station called the Planet Overkiller because Murdercorpse has gotten so insane with revenge that he would dare to destroy his own planet! Killian Murdercorpse who lost his wife and child in the collateral damage in a superhero vs. villain battle is a total hypocrite going after innocent GeneHumans that he only hated just for being born with powers, and hardly caring about the powerless civilians getting hit by stray bullets burned in the explosives. The Overkillers really do live up to their name. And yet, they are regarded as heroes in-universe because they've killed all the supervillains in Wilmette, one of which is Lady Terra, the one who had Earthbending powers who really tarnished the GeneHuman community's reputation with her speeches preaching that GeneHumans are better than "mortals." And she was Murdercorpse's first victim because of her part in the death of his family. And Lady Terra's Sisterhood of GeneHumans were purged by the Overkillers. Male allies of the Sisterhood, gone. Supervillains who aren't interested in Lady Terra's goals but just steal and murder as a hobby, also dead. And even with the Overkillers killing heroes after they were done with the villains, they're still popular because Lady Terra's terrorism made many people afraid of superpowers and the news reporter Kathryn Kaitlin Kennedy had doxxed the superheroes and exposed all their sins and mistakes, which tarnished their reputation even more. However, the Shadows would destroy the Planet Overkiller after evacuating the bad guys from it first, and Kennedy would be forced to end her show exposing the truth about the Overkillers.

There’s also the fact that when the squad encounter Batman for the first time, we see him kill two people with zero, I mean ZERO, hesitation. If there’s one thing I know about Batman, it’s that he has a no killing rule, and since this is a Batman whose under mind control and has no qualms about killing, there is no reason that he doesn’t kill the squad instead of knocking them out.
I like to look for the best in things, but this game’s story is just so bad. The amount of plot armor the squad has is ridiculous. And people think Peter was nerfed in Spider-Man 2. At least he still won in that game. If you know about the feats Arkham Batman has made in ONE of his games, then you know that it’s absolutely stupid that he would lose to these four idiots.

To add on to your comments about GL being shown dead in only his underwear, the writers for this game clearly didn't know anything about the power ring outside of basic knowledge. The GL suit isn't like Spider-Man's or Superman's suit where they wear it under their clothes. It's a construct formed by the power ring, meaning the suit forms over the user's clothes. So unless Jon just enjoys walking around in only his underwear, he should've been fully clothed after he lost the ring.
This seems like the perfect situation to call in Lobo and maybe throw in Deathstroke for good measure. These are 2 who probably could actually kill the justice league without the need for plot armor or just dumb luck even if you have to buy there loyalty

In the end of arkham origins, Amanda did give deathstroke a choice to join her or rot in a cell. So really if Amanda wanted she could've gotten Deathstroke to come in to deal with batman since he's pretty much the only guy to keep up with arkham batman.

I hate how much all members of the league talk in this game. Every five seconds Batman is chirping in the Squad’s ear saying “The shark is on a rampage!” or “Our forces are getting devastated!” When would Batman ever freak out and say something dumb like that when he gets angry. His whole shtick is being stoic and unbreakable
There’s too many wrongs & flaws Rocksteady and WB did to the Arkhamverse’s Justice League to the point where it’s impossible to remember them all.
Here is what I would have done to fix the game. 1. Don't call the title Suicide Squad kills the Justice League give it something different like Suicide Squad vs The Justice League. Number 2 would be don't set it in the Arkham Universe give it its own Universe and Number 3 the plot would be Brainiac captured and mind controlled the Justice league and you are trying to free them with the help of Amanda Waller and Lex Luthor's help. Number 4. Don't limit us to just 4 Suicide squad members add like 16 members so we can swap out different characters and give them different roles like Bane and Killer Croc could have tank roles while Blood Sport and Dead shot could have range and Enchantress could be magic etc. and Also unique talent trees that add more abilities to that character depending on which path you take. Number 5. Whenever you free a Justice league member than can become your ally and help you along the way with different stuff like if you free up batman he can help with gadgets and some other stuff. Also make the encounters engaging and not boring when you fight one of the Justice league members. For doing this method what's nice is for DLC you can add more Justice league characters that Brainiac has taken over that you can do awesome boss fights with and become more ally's that will help you with your character and journey along the way and can also add more Suicide characters as well to play as.

This is where the games writing fundamentally fails, and it has to do with this new generation of writers across all media. Every character doesn’t need to be redeemable, and this new push of Suicide Squad related media and Harley Quinn are the number 1 offenders. I could see a universe where a game like this does work, if they really put you in the shoes of the villains and let you go crazy. But they are trying to make these characters likable anti heroes and making the real heroes into nihilistic versions of themselves. Harley Quinn is a VILLAIN. Is her origin tragic? Yes. Is she a victim of circumstance? Yes. Is she a psychopathic serial killer who has murdered countless innocent people including children? YES. It’s WEIRD as fuck to expect an audience who knows all this to try and empathize with characters who are HORRIBLE people while they literally PISS ON THE GRAVE, or some of our childhood icons. It’s backwards.
They could've done more to at least humanize her if they made her more empathetic or distraught while killing Batman. I'm sure that'd win more than her giving him a reasons you suck speech...
DC is always allowing the trashest interpertations of these characters. This is why they never catched up to Marvel. They ruin all their characters in the comics, games, and movies. It never stops with them.

Harley killed hundreds just for laughs.

So I’m confused about King Shark controlling the lantern ring. Ppl have said only the ring can choose the weirder but I’ve seen in other medias where other ppl have taken the ring like in The Batman where Penguin got his hands on the ring (which was meant for Batman) and he was using it just fine.

I really think the writers could have put more capable people into the Suicide Squad.
They could have used Deathstroke, who is/was the AntiBatman, and kicked the asses of the Teen Titans (who has some serious OP members like Starfire). The Suicide Squad had ton of members in the comics, they writer could have used those stronger members. (Like Artemis, Black Adam, Bronze Tiger, Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire etc)
It’s so hard to understand how they got the writing and story so badly. It almost feels intentional after shows like Harley Quinn on Max or being overly clever about how not like themselves the “clone JL” are. Brainiac controlled/enhanced JL members who already could solo the entire TFX by themselves? You’d imagine they actually would be smarter.

You really can't though. In this case, they took character traits of existing characters and just removed them. Batman doesn't just waltz into traps with no plan, that's not Batman. Superman doesn't just blindly trust an alien on a giant skull shaped ship, he's not that gullible. Wonder Woman isn't a stuck up moron, either, she'd have taken action a lot sooner than 3 weeks after the initial incident.
My point is that the developers wrote the characters into the dirt for seemingly no reason at all. The game wasn't just unnecessary, it was repetitive, boring, and just stupid.
So it's not just every game where the bad guy kicks the good guy into the dirt. This was a very different type of disrespect to one of the most iconic superhero teams in existence.

The game sucked! Not sure why WB was trying to push Suicide Squad for the past few years as if there's some big name squad that everybody loves. Nobody wanted a Suicide Squad game except for their little niche of fans which is not enough to make people want to buy and play this game continuously. Then you have them kill off the greatest superhero teen which is blasphemous. Yeah they may be clones or whatever but it still sucked.

This game is... odd... in the sense that it understands what these characters are, and how good of people they are as heros especially in a team, when they're not being mind controlled, and making them uncomfortably evil in a -good way- when they are, but... they go about it in such an awful way when the Squad kills each one.
Green Lantern: Executed during a cringe one liner, lmao he has green boxers?! XD
Flash: Literally saves the team -twice- and is shown to be a good kid outside of his conditioning, Boomerang proceeds to piss on his corpse which isn't funny but just downright disturbing esp seeing as Flash saved his life.
Wonder Woman: An idiot throughout the entire game who gets owned by King Shark words of all people pointing out her friends can't be saved, yet gets praise because 'le woman'.
Batman: Gets a pretentious speech from Harley despite the fact Batman (In terms of the Arkahm cannon) has absolutely dismissed Harley with ease on multiple occasions, then getting executed without a fight.
Superman: Im bored at this point cba you know what happens.

Okay so I watch med the let’s play and the speed force thing meant to counter flashes powers is the only point I’ll give you,
1. John Stewart’s weakness is fear which is what the weapons the squad used against him.
2.Batman is a human granted smart and well equipped but still human, I’m glad he got humble the way he did he deserved it.
3. Superman is my favorite justice league character, but even I know about gold kryptonite, every time he gets cut or wounded by it, that wound stays there forever, that’s right, there are no healings or restarts with gold kryptonite, it also completely strips him of his powers if he get hurt enough by it.
4. Would you trust the squad if you if you Wonder Woman, there was an apocalypse and boomerang still went after the flash and was about to injure him or worse, I’m betting worse, they can’t be trusted.

It’s sad because this is the Justice League first debut in this universe. The League of many of the members would of not go mind-controlled that easily like Batman. In fact he was the one who adjusted not to aborde Brainiac”s ship knowing full well it’s a trap! This JL could of came up with a back up plan or call other heros in the universe. What about the other Green Lantherns in the Lantern Core? Wonder Woman’s people? If I was a hero that learns a alien that attacks a city is in danger I would go there with other heros to stop it!
I do give the game this, the boss themes are great and fits who the characters are very well, everything else is feels like lazy writing and the Justice League been nerfed just for the sack of the plot!
That’s why I’m not this game, I’ll rather spend money in a good game like Hogwarts Legacy! They actually do care for the fan base and make the story fun, the combat epic and the music is just a chefs kiss, and don’t get me started in the visuals of the game, just magical and so breath tacking! But unfortunately this game doesn’t have any of that, epic for the music and King Shark which are the only good things in the game.
I’m not a fan of DC that much, I just know about them but still I just feel bad for the DC fans among us. Being the bad guys and facing corrupted heros is a great idea, just was not executed great.
