I has a green Nepenthes Sanguinea top cutting from a dying parent plant 3months ago and today this cutting start pitcher. I realise the first two pitchers came out upper pitchers.. not lower pitchers on this cutting.. is this common?
Your burkii is lovely. Yes so cute. Reminds me of budgies. That's great you have uppers on it already. I like all three. Most nepenthes I prefer lowers, but stuff like lowii, it's all about the uppers for me on that.
I like the app that you showed. It's weird that it doesn't show the sanguinea upper. And I'm pretty sure that the sanguinea makes uppers because I've seen it in videos and online.
Wow! How do you repot and move them about sir when the tendrils are all clinging to each other? I feel so guilt whenever i have to lift a pot then a pitcher breaks off aahahha

I've watched many, many carnivorous plant/Nepenthes videos, and no one EVER gives this info so simply and clearly as this video. Thanks!
Oh my goodness my mind is so blown 😅
Thanks so much for this video!!
Dude I love your channel! Def getting a like
Thanks 😊
Is it ok if I ask you something about my nepenthes?

Totally normal yes. Cuttings only grow uppers. ;)

I would love to have lowii uppers too. ;)

What kind of soil should I use for my picture plant
There is a lot of possibilities. Here is a video: ruclips.net/video/edoS2UWOA4o/видео.html
Great video, my friend!

I share this feeling my friend... sometimes you have to sacrifice tendrils and pitchers for the best of the whole plant...
How would I make the upper jars go back to basal?
You have to wait for the plant to decide to produce a basal... you can't make it do one.
Nepy is no longer available on Google Play. Hasn't been updated for new OS
Thanks for the info. It's sad tho
Is the burkei like a cousin to the ventricosa? They look similar in some ways.
You have good eyes: they are closely related. At first it was even called like a form of n. ventricosa ;)
Remy did you get anything from the EP import???
No... no EP plants here in Canada 😢
@@WindowsillNepenthes oh no 😭😭 i had hoped Dom atleast got to you guys as well 😥 honestly just makes your collection even more impressive!
@@kthistle49 I'm not quitting 😆 one day I'll have EP plants!
Why do some of my leaves not grow pitchers?
Assuming nothing changes (light, humidity and temperature) that could be that the vine use a lot of energy and need more food?
i want to grow insectivorous plants but don't know where i can find them :( in my area :(
Did you research on Facebook group from your country/area?
@@WindowsillNepenthes nope I checked amazon but from reviews the seeds appers to be fake
@@nklumia No for seeds only get them grow growers on Facebook. And it's way easier to buy a plant than growing from seeds.
@@WindowsillNepenthes i just checked facebook but couldn't find any :(
@@nklumia where do you live in?
Throw 2 super worms in it ❤
