Cameron wanting his poncho is like Samuel L Jackson wanting a purple lightsaber. You give it to him, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Even if it means having to write in their best Reason for it.
With the Purple Lightsaber it was basically make new lore that says Purple stands for Balance (Blue and Red make Purple after all so it works)
Poncho, Make the Character really like being able to wear a Poncho.
And, if you ask me. Cal rocks the Poncho and it's a Practical outfit choice for missions where a Poncho would Realistically be a good idea to wear

@@shelbybayer200maybe on Kashyyyk, but theres much more practical stuff he could wear in other environments. I’m glad he got more variety in Survivor. I really like the wanderer hoodie with commander or base undershirt and Jedi pants, kinda reminds me of Scarlet Spider lol (spider-man comics). Feels scavenged and practical but also stylish, yet it still comes off as Jedi to me without immediately giving it away….if he hid his lightsaber lol it’d be perfect if you could take the backpack off for battles. I’ll swap in the tactical jacket or the patchwork Jedi robe for big battles sometimes.

I find it kind of wholesome that despite Cal’s life being a constant struggle, a poncho can easily make him happy (possibly because it reminds him of the times he spent with his only friend when he was a Scrapper).

I noticed when I first equipped it too, I called my wife in and had her look at it when you equipped other outfits and when you equipped this one and showed her the video of him telling the devs that they're better be a poncho in there. I'm not lonely at all! 😅
