normally i'd say i want to actually have to get inside that vehicle, but considering that those would be swarmed with players, this might be the wiser choice

Baron Wolfe you have to use battle points to get in it every time you get a kill or objective you get battle points and they stack up throughout the game

I'd prefer having the ability to get in and out of vehicles.
That and some fairly basic combat vehicles that spawn around both bases, and perhaps civilian vehicles around the battlefield.
And that tokens allow you to spawn inside a better combat equipped vehicle. Which can include tanks, spaceships, etc.
Though you still have the option to jump out of that vehicle, say it's about to explode, or if you want to go into the interior of a building, etc.
Above all else, I simply want the ability to go in and out of vehicles.
Here's hoping they add a Clone Wars single-player story DLC!

Conciseworm The Deltas are better off staying in their own series. Battlefront has always been about putting you in the heat of the most intense battles in the series. Republic Commando was a behind the scenes look at the special forces we never saw in the movies.

Republic Commando should be remastered and brought back in to the spotlight because I guarantee you a reboot of that game would never live up to the expectations set by the original. It doesn't need to be changed, so it shouldn't be. A sequel is fine so long as they get a team that knows damn well what they're doing. I've had enough of asshats directing Star Wars.

for the first round you are not able to kill the transport
Tibby for this version they didn't let it be destroyed so they could showcase the whole mode and not have it end in the first phase. That's why
It's because they made it so that it's impossible to actually destroy the MTT they did that so that the people playing the game could actually play the game for the entire match and not have the game end after 5-10 minutes. But also so they could showcase everything.
So that's why, so playing the object in the first round would do nothing since you can't actually destroy it.
Of course they dont. Kills are more important than the objective. Hell, in War Thunder u can be 1st of the list by capping the points and getting assists, kills dont matter there...well they do matter but not that much.
It's been explained that the objective isn't able to be completed, so that those who are playing the demo don't have their game cut short. It's so that they can play out the full length of the game and get a decent amount of footage to share.

man clone troopers were always my favorite aspect of star wars! im really glad we get to play in phase 1 armor and phase 2 armor. does anyone else love clone troopers?
This game looks absolutely gorgeous, and 2 small changes have me really excited for the game:
1) Jetpacks are assigned to a special trooper you have to purchase in-game with currency earned for playing the objective. Now every match won't be full of people flying around the whole time.
2) Heroes are also tied to the currency, meaning every match won't be a rush to the token, and one player shouldn't go 150-4 getting Bossk 4 times in the match. I do worry people may not spawn in when they get enough currency and the hero is already taken, but I trust DICE will sort it out.
it's also nice to see vehicles tied to the same system. I hope they do the same for personal shields (or just remove them entirely except for Droidekas).

I love looking back at the pre-alpha videos. It helps recreate the excitement I felt when I saw this for the first time. I had just gotten out of the pool, I had the fresh scene of chlorine in my hair, I get on the computer, and Battlefront II videos are all over my subscription box. Good times...

People liked the clones in the cartoon better so it makes sense for them to get the same voice actor for nostalgic purposes and to sell the game + dee's voice sounds badass

Also, do clones ever win on this map? Because so far I have only seen those separatist scum winning.
In the pre-alpha, the players were told that the MTT will be invincible during the first phase so that the rest of the gameplay will be showcased. Even when the health of the MTT is taken down to 0, it won't stop. This is because they wanted to show off the rest of the mode so everyone can get the idea what to expect once the game is released. It won't be like that in the final version of _Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (2017)_ so that means the objectives will matter and the MTT can be destroyed and the clones will win.

There is a split screen mode with ai, however no galactic conquest mode as of yet announced.

Every one complains about rey being there but they never question maul fighting clones alongside droids as that's not lore friendly either as before he was cut I half the clone army didn't exist yet and after that he never worked with the separatists
Yeah but I always let that slide same case for Jango. I always use to think that in BF2 (2005) but at least they were alive in the same time period for that faction. I mean you could see Maul there but Rey isn't even in that era at all so it completely doesn't fit. Maul would have still been on the side of the CIS even though it was pre clone wars it still works for me. An even weird combo was in the old game when you were the empire on Mustafa you'd get Anakin and Obi Wan as the heroes which I always found weird.
But technically maul is not in the right era as maul was chopped in half pre clone wars era and the clone wars didn't start for many years after and also whether or not the eras right its still not lore friendly but tpstar wars battlefront games multi players save for the most recent release are not lore friendly

I can't help but laugh at the goofy physics the droids have when player controlled. Any true Star Wars fan knows that the droids don't run around in circles, strafing left and right, jumping over obstacles. They stand there and get mowed down. Seeing these droids run all over looks pretty funny.

well technically the clone officers did look like that but they were not combat foot soldiers so they worked in the venators/space ships. But I know what you mean they should rename it to like Clone Commander and have some badass gear like pauldrons and duel wield pistols.
Ani-MAULs Gaming Cody and Rex were commanders/captain , officers are well officers they command ships this is how they dress .
I hope Rex is a hero tho.

NO. The vehicles need to be available at battlefield (the most of them, the group vehicles), it needs Droidekas, and etc.
show me conquest, droidakas, clone commanders and magna guards then it'll be battlefront but so far it's just a polished turd

I really hope we can customize the armor of the clones. Seeing plain white Phase 2 armor looks weird. Needs more color like the 501st, Wolfpack, etc.
Oakley141 ya, by the time they had phase two, most clones had it customised....and colors should depend on the battalion like in the tv show/movies.
Oakley141 colloted Clone troopers are of hoghrer rank or a special force within the cline army. Most clones where always plain.
not phase 2 - all of the battalions and even companies had different markings and colours
no pls dont. Clone customization will let the battlefield be full of rainbow clonetroopers. It would ruin the feeling for me seeing a bunch of yellow,purple, red and maybe even pink troopers on the battlefield. They should instead lets us play as planetspecific platoons. Like the snow map in the Trailer should let us play as the galactic marines, a coruscant map should let us play as the coruscant guard troopers and and another map as the 501. and so on. i hated that in battlefront 1 you could have shoretroopers on hoth which makes no fucking sense

The new system of classes and star cards PLUS how they're integrated with one another is SOOOOO much better than before.
This honestly looks rather promising. First gameplay footage that I am genuinely getting a kick out of for a number of years now.
The number one thing i want in this game is that you can customize the paint jobs of your classes so that when you're online everyone has a unique paint job to tell everyone apart.

Everyone complains about Rey being a playable character, yet fail to see Boba and Han in the same battle, and that they've done this in BF1 before (you can play as Vader or Palpatine, or even Jyn during the battle of Jakku when we know they're dead).

JJDunn25 Star Wars fans = scum of the internet. When DICE tried to make BF1 more realistic (ie only being able to play heroes on maps where they could be according to canon) ppl complained like crazy. So DICE removed that and ppl... complained even more. It's impossible to get these morons happy. Complaining and whining seems to be 90% of their personality. They will, however, always buy the product if it says Star Wars on it so at this point I really don't think DICE cares about these idiots anymore.
