  • Check out the new series, a kitchen bike KLX 110 build! • KITCHEN BIKE BUILD | K... Welcome to my kitchen build! It's cold here in Canada and I picked my wife up a new bike for this year that I purchased used with not even an hour on the motor. I couldn't resist the temptation to put a full FMF exhaust on it along with a lot of other goodies! Hope you watch and enjoy.

I don't do music, you can listen to your own to enjoy the experienced based on your own personal taste. :) The build will feature full exhaust, bar raisers, wrap around handguards, full AXP skidplates and more. Trying to make it realistic and not having features that don't make sense. hope to see you on there when it comes!

    Nice bike, did you need to re-jet carb for the new pipe or anything?

    • @snyderhaus
      @snyderhaus  5 лет назад +7

      Hey Patrick, so far I haven't had to touch the carb with this set up. It was idling a little high on start, but that was about it.. Hoping to get a video comparison of the stock pipe vs this set up soon!

    • @snyderhaus
      @snyderhaus  5 лет назад +4

      So, all I ended up needing to do was play with the air screw and run higher octane fuel. They suggest race fuel, but the bike isn't pinned all day throwing wheels around. I think I was about 2 and a half out? And the bike was running really clean. The only other problem I had was that I was running 40:1 with 800 motul.. Way too much for this little guy. 50/55:1 with 710 seemed to work well without fouling plugs etc. If i was on the bike riding it hard though (I'm 6'3 240lbs), 40:1 for sure just to be safe.. but, nothings probably safe for me on that! haha

    TO GET THE WRINKLES OUT OF THE SEAT COVER TRY TO HEAT IT UP WITH A HEAT GUN WORKS GREAT BUT NOT TO HOT OR TO CLOSE CAUSE YOU CAN BURN OR MELT IT❗🇺🇸

    • @snyderhaus
      @snyderhaus  4 года назад +1

      Yeah, it was pretty creased. I didn't have anything that would get enough heat into it for it to do anything (hair dryers take way too long and don't do enough penetrating heat I find!) It ended up working itself out over time.

    Awesome bike. My main bike is a 89 CR250 that I've restored and built (Eric Gorr ported, reeds, pipe, suspension was redone by Pro Circuit, etc) so it's a top end screamer, but I've been thinking about an RM85 for my old lady, mainly because I have a lot of experience working on 2 strokes, and an RM instead of a YZ because the RM is more of a low end bike than the YZ, my question is what kind of jetting have you done? I want her to be able to ride in the low-mid RPM range without having to clean it out regularly, oil on the plug I mean. I have a general idea for jets but I'd just like to hear what works for your wife

    • @snyderhaus
      @snyderhaus  3 года назад

      I actually didn’t jet the carb; it was running really well with this set up. It could have been finer tuned but I would have put a lectron or something in it instead.

    Kind of funny I just picked up a like new 2014 which is essentially the same bike for my son and I have all the same shit in my cart to add to it lol. Limited stuff available. How do you like the radiator guards? And I thought it was funny the skid plate is only available in black with orange

    • @snyderhaus
      @snyderhaus  2 года назад

      Rad guards especially for woods and newer riders (honestly even any rider) is worth it. Saved a mishap and a engine critical component that if it does get destroyed; you’re toast.

      If you aren’t mixing properly for your riding style and conditions all of them will have issues with fouling plugs regardless of the type of bike.. ie you mix 32:1 but ride it slow and aren’t on the pipe at all or clearing that out you’re going to have a lot of spooge and you’ll foul for sure. 40:1 or higher is my suggestion but don’t hold me to it. If you’re just putting and barely on the gas or powerband then you can go less on oil.. I wouldn’t suggest a 2 stroke if you’re just going slow around and enduro. You won’t have enough torque on these bikes
