Yeah I know. But in my case, not only do I have to only link through the app but I can’t even have it show up in my list of devices in my general Bluetooth settings. I have to ensure it’s forgotten first even if it’s not connected and then connect through the app. Anyways just wanted to clarify that for anyone having the same issue as I am. Thanks for the video and your replies.

Mine gets to the green connecting wheel nd it just spins and spins. If i run through the process many time it will eventually ask me for the pin number but it's random. Any idea why it does this?

It may be an older version of the software. Try updating or Re-downloading the app. the newest version currently ends in .10

If you have not un-installed and re-installed the App that is still our suggestion. It also sounds like another possibility. If the controller isnt quite seating in the 7way socket fully and the 12v power required to power the unit doesnt make full contact, then the controller wont turn on. So my question is if the light on the controller is illuminated blue on the controller while the app spins? I will also point out as per Curt the order of steps is specific and the controller is to be synced thru the App itself and not thru your phones bluetooth menu. If all these are followed correctly and the Blue light is on then the not syncing may be due to something basic with your phone, like its RAM usage is too high and cannot connect( try forcing all non essential apps closed) or even too many bluetooth devices connectd at once are some other things to look for.

I sorted it out and it’s a silly fix in my case. I have to go into my phones Bluetooth list and forget the device every time before I open the app to connect. This is a very poor design imo but at least it works now.

Sorry to hear that. I did Call out not linking it to your phone direcly, but only through the app itself. Glad to Hear you got to the bottom of it!
