I wanted to be a Marine, Talked to recruiter, could do everything but cardio. Ultimately I failed. I was more worried about impressing people that are no longer in my life. Drugs, alcohol, not giving a crap. I’m at rock bottom. I wanna join the Army because they accept until 35, marines was 29, without a waiver. I’ve wasted my life after my mother passed. And I just wanna make myself proud before I make her. I can’t be a marine but I wanna go through the hoops to be a Green Beret. I have no idea how to start. I’ve had military family members, 12. Mostly Marines, Second Army, Then Navy. I’ve talked to all of them about joining, But not about the Green Berets. I didn’t know how to talk to them. They said “ If your gunna do it, Thn Fkn do it!!! You’ve already missed the branch you wanted, Font make that mistake twice!” Sooo for someone that’s about to lose everything due to there poor decisions, How can I join Airborne School at 29-30. Is Airborne school like Basic Training? Do the Blackhawk Instructors y’all a lot? Do you get smoked in airborne school?
Do the Blackhat instructors yell a lot in Airborne school?
What mos should I join to become a paratrooper
What's the reason to do airbourne school?
Because it is great, awesome and makes you a Man among Men. You might b afraid of jumping all the time, but you will be in love with being among such great hardy men.
I really want to join the marine corps but I also really wanted to go to airborne school so can you do that?
I can't seem to find a concise answer
If I am not mistaken army is airborne
@@randomlyposter1974 marine
crops have airborne units
@@lindastewart9589 how do you get in the airborne unit??
My stepdad was stationed in Fort Hood. It's a craphole.
11x opt 40 ft benning 20191015
Did you make it through
U a ranger ?
At pre rasp now waiting to get in the next class. Missed the last class for paternity leave cuz my wife and i had another little boy!
Bparks93 congrats on the kid
Good luck
My contract doesn't have airborne because of my vision, now that I got Lasik and have 20/20 can I ask to get airborne? Or is my contract already set in stone?
Airborne option does not require 20/20. Your recruiter is lying to you.
Can I be a combat medic in airborne? And if I can, can I be that for the 12 years I plan to spend in the army?
Yes you can, not sure about 12 years though
@@TheBenAllen. oh alright! Well I mean I’ve known someone who’s dad was in airborne for exactly 12 years so I probably got this lol thanks a lot!
@@ricenbeanz6073 how’s that working out for you?
@@roush1320 not there yet but I’m still headed for that goal. Thanks for asking
If you get an option 40 can you still go to ranger school before rasp?
No, you go to RASP directly after OSUT
Whats the Height requirement?
If I got Bragg as my first duty station will they send me to airborne school
Not necessarily
Pretty much if you ask and beg for it. What's your MOS?
Do you know the airborne physical?
Can I get an option 4 with glasses?
I believe so
Who does this apply to national guard
Is airborne school an option for each branch?
Not all of the branches
Ben Allen which ones ?
ImNumb yes and no. Yes being that Navy, Marines and air force all send individuals to airborne school. No being that not any marine or airmen or sailor can go. Meaning only SOF members of each breach can go into airborne school. Such as Force recon or MARSOC for marines, Air force para rescue jumpers, and Navy seals.
Enlist for 92R and I promise you will jump!
Is 13B airborne?
Where are the AIT Airborne locations? Thanks
Maria Asensio that’s not a thing
@@TheBenAllen. I am sorry my son is in BCT right now and then he will do AIT that's why I was asking. Thank you for the information.
Lol sorry
Maria Asensio yes, BCT, AIT, then airborne school which is in Fort Benning Georgia. After that he will be assigned to whatever airborne unit. Some don’t get into airborne units though
@@captainkapalot9644 Thank you for the information. God bless you

New comment. I’ve always been able to do hard work, Blue collar from Tx. I’m about to turn 30. Be homeless on my 30th July 1st. I know that’s a step. I needa restart. I ruined my life and unless I do this I will be homeless. I need advice
