@@danw6014 Was this an option because we have a 1952 B that has them on the bottom but our 1951 60 does not and there aren´t any holes or plugs where they could go.
@@braydenbecker1579 I don't know if it was optional or standard but Deere made provisions for hand starting the 50, 60, & 70 gas with the steering wheel and an adaptor to the flywheel. Just pop the center cover off the flywheel cover. I have two 60s and they are both equipped with petcocks. Opening the petcocks made hand starting easier.
By far not your best video guys but still good I would love to know how you guys come up with a tractor video every single week it's probably a good thing that Dee you guys have a dealer's lot I mean really how many videos can you do about tractors how the hell do you guys come up with a subject every single week to put out a video
Why did you put useless unrelated music on here? People that watch tractor videos don't do it for the music! They would much rather hear the work being done & the dialog! Lots of people won't watch videos that do that, but they won't say anything! Even if you speed up the video, there are video editing software that speeds up both video and audio and keeps the audio at the original pitch. I have seen that done on many videos on RUclips.
Love the 60. Old school and Newer school best of both worlds with a little bit more horsepower.
those points were toast. Always amazing how little things are let go
I,ve got a 1953 John deere 70. And there,s no button on top of settlement bulb that you can mash. You just loosen the bulb till it fill,s up.
You can press the button on the top of the sediment bowl, and gas will run into the bowl until it is full!
My grandpa had one. I remember jumping up on it pretending I was driving.
That is the settlement bulb. Any dirt or water goes to the bottom of it. Instead of the carberator. 3:09
Be sure the transmission is in neutral, and then engage the clutch. It will turn over easier.
ever get it running ?
Looking forward to the next one!!!!
Haven't watched the video yet. I want to know what you want for it the way she sits right now?
Nice ole girl. Definitely worth reviving!
Crazy D, did John Deer still use the compression releases on the 50 & 60 tractors?
There were petcocks on the bottom side of the block.
@@danw6014 ok thank you. I’m sure others are not aware of them.

what is the doc channel called
That's true reality TV right there!
it sounded like it wasn’t spinning over fast enough
Over here we looked on John Deere’s as expensive oddballs, now I see why 😏
John Deere two cylinders were about as numerous in east Arkansas as IHC FARMALLS.
Roll a matic ?
I think it is actually
Have a 60with rollomatic myself that hasn't been started in sometime getting ready to get started on.
For a John Deere, that WAS starting on the first try! Gotta get my digs in on the green tractor crowd every chance I get lol!
Yeah it,s turning over fast enough.
