@carversal , Tata don't have any 1.2L 4 cylinder petrol engine in Current times , every Petrol engine of tata is 3cylinder,
the only 4cylinder engine in tata line up is the 1.5L diesel Engine
They have a petrol 1.5l turbo which is 4 cylinder and is supposed to be launched in this car and that 1.2 lmis also a new engine and are 4 cylinder

This 1.2L GDI will directly compete with the 1.5L NA variants of the Creta,G.Vitara ,..& 1.0L TSI versions of Taigun & Kushaq.(This basic engine combo of these manufacturers has a market share of 80% ).So, there is no point in investing in the 1.5L GDI for the Curvv. second reason, the Sierra will be offered with the same size as that of the Curvv(a bit longer) which will get the brand's 1.5L GDI . Talking about the refinement,this GDI engine offers much faster acceleration than the NA versions of the Koreans & Japanese engines while providing better fuel efficiency coz of the use of GDI technology. This 1.2L GDI will be on par interms of refinement & power with the competition.So, no need to worry about that. Btw, you aren't eligible for making car reviews, coz seriously,you don't know anything about engines & all.. Don't try to misguide non- car guys or customers without even driving or experiencing a car.

U getting this wrong mate the old Nexon 1.2L Turbo engine is also present in Curvv line up that will go up against 1.5L NA engines of koreans and this 1.2L TGDI will go up against the 1.5L TGDI of the Koreans😂 😂 This is a dumb strategy by Tata , this won't be a seltos ,creta rival in any angle
