I have nexon 2022 MAX model with 40KW battery pack I can guess exact numbers with my driving experience of 45K+ Km. For 55KW battery pack. Never drive below 10% unless u have an emergency (not recommended by Tata and other EV manufactures also) So we have 55Kw - 5.5Kw(10% of 55Kw) = 49.5Kw usable battery pack. on an average I have drive my Nexon with 126W/Km ~131W/Km(winter and Rainy) to 137W/Km~142W/Km(summer) Avg. on Highway conditions with speed of 90Km/h ~ 100Km/h and Four members and some luggage on board. so for Curvv it will be bit higher, let consider 135W/Km to 145W/Km let say 140W/Km it will be 49.5K / 145W/Km = 341Km 49.5K / 140W/Km = 353Km 49.5K / 135W/Km = 366Km So i can achieve 350Km to 366Km Range with Four members and some luggage on board. with 90% of 55KW Battery pack.
Excellent. Generally people cover 400 to 450 km in a day while driving inter city, with atleast one major break of 30 to 40 mins for food . So 50kW+ battery EV can do most long distance trips without compromise on time, by adding 100km charge during the break

85 is impractical in expressways. You have to maintain 100Kmph like you did in the BYD Seal. Your tests are also not cohesive if you drive different EVs in different speeds on range tests.
exactly , speed should be maintain as per expressways. which has 120km/hr speed limit, on express way even 90 km/hr feels too slow and it fails the whole purpose of using an espressway.,

Punch is the only EV apart from Nexon and Curvv which has good seating space at rear. Tata has said that Curvv is on active EV platform but it is not showing in the car and just replica of Nexon as in interior space nothing has changed and due to battery leg space is very less at rear.

WHILE TESTING GO WITH 5 PEOPLE AND ALSO WITH full LUGGAGE INSIDE THE BOOT.. it will affect the range drastically I noticed it in electric cars. RANGE 🔥🔥 WILL come down by atleast 175 kms... You will waste money saved in fuel at restaurants while your car gets charged..😢 you can't sit for one hour inside the car so obviously you will be relaxing at eating food at some restaurant..
no it wont. check the video of carwow with these tests, i am an ev owner driven 45k till now, byd e6. range drops when you dont manage tire pressure according to your car load.
So for 55kwh.... fully loaded baggages( assuming 30 to 40 kg ) and all 4 passangers while driving at 90 to 120kmph on highway and 60 to 80 at state highway and towns and lesser than that in cities.... it will give 300 to 320 km of range.... Not bad though but not good enough as well for a long travel in Maharashtra.. if I consider to travel from Mumbai to Nagpur

Tata is giving 160000 Km warranty. Can anybody provide any single EV owner who has not replaced before reaching 100000Km. I have seen Tata EV owners replaced before reaching 50000Km. The replacement of Battery is 6.5 Lakh and customer needs to replace battery at every 60000 - 70000 Km then cost of Battery Replacement alone is Rs.10/Km. Who will buy EV in the situation?

Its very very competitive looking at the price and the tata factor. Model 3 delivers 400 range and would cost north of 30-35 lakhs.. this is really an export quality product.. however they need to seriously sort quality and service issues else it would be a painful experience even with a killer product for the buyers..

Range is something fishy!! 40kw battery gives 465km = 11.6km(1kw) 45kw battery gives 502km = 11.1km(1kw) 55kw battery gives 585km = 10.6km(1kw) So all the variant gives average 11km/1kw.

In actual conditions with full family on board with ac on, if one gets. Mileage of 280 also they should consider lucky. Just single person driving, even I got close to 300 in xuv 400 40kwh battery pack. It all depends in battery management, ability to optimise mechanics as per dynamics of car as well as road. Hell lot of algos with ifs and buts has to be played in, also the aerodynamism plays 10-15% role here as well

400km is a lot of range unless you are in a cab business. Most people don't drive more than 50kms daily. If you need more than 400km range without stopping or charging..take a flight instead.

Real test will be after 2 years in real world conditions. Battery will be good when its new but after repated use battery performance will decrease. BTW any idea how much it will cost to replace a new battery?
Nope ...yoir calculation FOR 45KWh battery version is wrong. You did not consider difference in motor power output of both versions, which is different. 55 kWh version has a much powerful motor as in comparison to 45kwh one. More powerful motor will return lesser range as in comparison to lesser powerful version.

Real test will be after 2 years in real world conditions. Battery will be good when its new but after repated use battery performance will decrease. BTW any idea how much it will cost to replace a new battery?

Nope ...yoir calculation FOR 45KWh battery version is wrong. You did not consider difference in motor power output of both versions, which is different. 55 kWh version has a much powerful motor as in comparison to 45kwh one.
More powerful motor will return lesser range as in comparison to lesser powerful version.
