In this world of full stress, depression and frustration, the owner of The Taigun seems very polite, mature and knowledgeable, these VAG 2.0 cars still have the infamous DQ200 gearbox which is known for unreliability and failures, I hope VW group has worked on it 👍✌️

Updated VW 2.0 Cars were launched almost 3years ago with dq200 gearbox and when I enquired at both VW and Skoda showrooms, they haven't had gearbox issues on 2.0 cars. They have detuned the gearbox, it isn't as aggressive as it used to be for shifts but still very very good and superior to the copy cat Kias DCT tech.
DQ 200 can easily manage 200nm torque which is ample for a petrol engine.
MBQ 27 engine platform VW ka award winning engine ha....gear box bilkul smooth.
Finally, Owner has approx same height and physique as Ravi sir.

I owned skoda Laura 2.0 TDI Manual 2012 model. Still its goes like rocket 🚀. Till today 2.25 lakh km driven, no any major issue faced. Still goes 200 km/hr n on highway while cruising 100-110 gives me 20+ mileage. Stability is next level on road. Fully comfortable Too. I always do regular periodic service at 15k km.

Jiske pass already diesel skoda, vw ki car h or uske upgrade krna h toh agr build quality dekhi jay toh tata me build quality h engine me dam nhi. Mahindra me long waiting and peace of mind nhi. Suzuki me sab h but cheap interior and build quality problems. And other brands ke dusre problem 1:51-3:12

10:33 soo true about fun to drive car element. Most people think verna is more fun to drive than Slavia or virtus but they don’t understand ki verna ka steering feedback bekaar hai, confidence hi nahi ayega fast chalane mein
Verna is a fast car. Not fun to drive. In my opinion 4 things play a major role for a car being fun to drive
1. Lightweight
2. Good suspension and chassis
3. A direct and quick steering
4. A manual gearbox with slick shift ( should feels like a gated shifter)
5. Lastly, a better engine

I have a 12 years old VW and this notion there cars dont require much maintenance is not true. It depends on a lot of factors. Ecm of my vento developed some problem and the replacement cost quoted by VW was 1.24 lakhs. That should answer your doubts if something goes wrong when your car ages, what kind of expenses yiu are looking at.
That's why people go with creta, seltos, gv

Karnataka main road tax 14% hai but other state ki Gadi traffic police nay pakdi toh difference of tax bharna padega. 1998 main RJ registered Maruti 800 mysore main pakdi thi uss samay 10K tax bharna pada. Difference of state tax between RJ and KA.
1 year tak tp chala sakte hai dusre state me. Baad me, pollution certificates nikalwa lo apne state ka, and jab police pakde to pollution certificates dikhwa dena and bolna ki ghumne aaye hain new state me. 😅

I heard that rear seat comfort is not good, 3 people can not sit at all. It is evident from the fact that taigun width is 1760mm while even sonet width is 1790mm .. @ddsravi, this true ?
They have good spacing between door and seating. Also doors have more strength and depth. Which causes compromise on space. With 4 seating it is much more comfortable then creta.
If maximum time not more then 4 ppl.Then you win with this option.

Rear seat is not comfortable for 3 person. 2nd quality of fit n finish has gone down drastically. 3rd Jeep is much better choice if you are ok with outdated accessories of VW.

Bhai 2 lane state highways pe grand i10 diesel ko tez bhagane me dar lagta hai, road aur traffic ka koi bharosa nahi hai, India me powerful gaadi ka zyada kaam nahi hai.

Yes but not everyone wants big car . Small families there is no benefit of having big size . And big cities its problem for you turn , parking , quick overtake etc . Same price he could have got mid variant of safari and xuv 700 . But he has chose car for his needs not to show others.

Ac ka jo issue tha that was with 1.0 manual transmission and with software update they actually made it bettr they decreased the ac switch by 25 rpms and increased engine rpm by 30 so the ac issue was solved for more info about it just search sunderdeep singh there munish ji explained it in a very good way even I experienced the ac is good i am using taigun 1.0 mt that too in north India

Good car only problems are
- width of the car , leg room is good but narrow .
- cost cutting like seats , roof liner , roof steel , no underbody engine protection,
AC cooling is not strong enough. Reverse camera and sensors are average.
VW ne AC me b cost cutting krdi hai lagta hai, this issue with ac is not persistent with Polo or vento for that matter, their AC is class apart I remember getting chills in there. So yes I believe VW and Skoda needs to work on this issue. Every car has pros and cons, VW and Skoda delivers too much of a car for the price you give them. They had to do things like this because obviously they had to stay in the market somehow.

Bhai baaki sab toh theek hai par fit and forget wali baat galat bol di. Meri Rapid diesel DSG ka clutch 90k kms running me change karwana pad gya, aur 1 lac kms pe suspension. Chalane me maza hai no doubt par kharcha zyada hota hai

absolutely perfect explanation about VW,, a Paint, a steering contrrol, long lasting manual gear sifting joy, comfort of seating, everything about VW was great... maja aa gaya blog dekhke, because I had VW Vento 2012 model and till now i already used breeza, and toyota hyryder but the joy of driving I enjoyed in VW I never in any other car but only problem was hard CLUTCHING made me tired so I had to sold it..
