Wow tape really does fix everything
Damn right! It even fixed my marriage!!
@@RomeoTRMoh wow😭
Wow thank you for this video I actually am suffering from a jammed thumb at the moment and wasn’t for sure of how to wrap it up for support.
Hi thanks so much ! I taped my thumb up yesterday and wow what a relief! This REALLY works - thumb feels so much better today - will re apply the tape again
Can’t thank you enough
I find your videos really educational as I'm a physiotherapist myself. Keep it up!
I’ve watched a few thumb strapping vids in the last few days and this is the best I’ve seen.
Exactly what i was hoping to find thanks!
Really helpful thanks
Thanks helps alot!
Fantastic 👏
Can you please tell me exactly what type of Tape I need to purchase and also the width of the tape you used. This is a very helpful video and I need to strap my thumb. Thank you.
Adhesive gives me 2nd degree burns under my skin. Is there a way to do this with cloth or something not sticky?
Thank you!
You're welcome!
just today got my thumb sprained , restricted movement pains a lot
Awesome
what is this tape called and where can i buy it from
it is so hard to tape your own right thumb when you are right-handed.
I've damaged this part of my thumb/hand, bent backwards. My doc says to wrap/splint and just let it heal, but I read a lot about surgery being required?
from what ive been seeing, if you damaged it, tape it or use a splint to stabilize, then let it heal. but if you completely tore the ligament, then you need surgery to reattach it. if theres movement but its painful then its just a minor sprain and you should do what your doctor said. but if you cant move it at all, then get a second opinion bc it might be a full tear or even a broken bone
@@HeyItzSpider hey man appreciate your comment. I splinted it to stabilise and occasionally took it off to do some exercises. There was movement but painful as you say. It's gotten better since the incident, just can't handle much in the way of weight atm
what is the name of the tape if I want to buy it?
It’s called athletic tape
fucked up my thumb from volleyball lmaooo
I got same problem as her to
Awesome. But he’s not allowed to wrap at Christmas 🎄
Whats the tape called? so I can buy it thanks!
it’s probably athletic tape
Gods she’s a happy bunny ¡¡
What kind of tape is that
1.25cm zinc oxide sports tape (non stretch). Or you can use 2.5cm if you have big hands.
*OR* you could, you know, get one of those thumb supporter thingies that you could take off to let your thumb rest.
How long does a thumb sprain last?
Mines going on about 23 years lol. It just gets back to normal and then I do something to sprain it again. Once you have a bad sprain I feel like it weakens the thumb permanently
By any chance is your thumb sprain still there?
You solved it?
@@ummkhel mines haven't recovered yet
When you go over the crevis of the thumb, aren't you suppose to fold the tape onto it's self to prevent cutting/blistering.
6 years without a reply. That's nice.
George lol
@@kyrieclutchirving3348 right?? : )
I feel very un loved right now :(
@@JPlesley Right? I mean, 6 years with tape cutting into your hand like that without a fold. But on a serious note, my thumb is killing me and I've been going to physiotherapy and it's not helping much. It's going on 4 months of pain.
Jesus, gonna be a mummy with the 100 pieces of tape. All I heard was piece after piece ripping.
Isn’t that cutting off circulation?
No, the tape isn’t that type
Omg so nice to see the back of ur head and not the tapeing lol jk
this is the worst thumb taping job I've ever seen
