Simply attending coaching classes will not ensure you a seat in IIT. One should be smart enough to understand guidance, smarter enough to tackle the examinations. Maximum onus will be at IIT itself and one should endure it smart way and succeed.
I agree with Narayan Murti.. And I too wasted my golden 3 years of my life in coaching classes, but gained nothing.. Now I realised, I could choose a better option apart from depression, after failing in entrance.. I m strictly against coaching classes.. They make money nothing else..

I do agree that coaching centers ruin the thinking ability of a student and he is in most cases deprived of the inquisitiveness and fun that on should get when you study something , be it engineering or any other field. It is also the students responsibility to follow the right path of learning. You cant expect the system to provide you with everything , it is also upto the students .

Once INC leader Mr.Veerappa Moily tried to increase the number of seats in IITs and planned for allotting the newly created seats only for the students of backward communities in India.Then huge protests happened from various corners and many blamed this may damage the quality of IITs. But at the same time sons or daughters of a corrupted bureaucrats or any other wrong people join IITs by using these costly coaching centres, no one has any issue.
Sir,the fact remains that india's IT industry is running on arbitrage of wages between western countries and India. Of course it benefits India as employment of large number of Indian graduates as well as massive FE. The difference between forced learning at Kota and its likes Vs. organic learning which happens gradually happens over a period of a decade or more is the same as paid sex Vs romance at free will. Also similar to natural exercise Vs highly trained exercise Vs top end BB who use roids, EPO et al! In short it not only spoils the overall systemic constitution but also reduces the effectiveness of schools. Result: Coaching classes are now the mainstream and not the high schools; Roids are the main stream and not strength building and cross fitness; Amino acidic products are the main diet and not paleo or vegan.
