Upgrading tennis machine battery to lithium

A lithium battery of the same capacity weighs less than half the sealed lead acid battery that comes with most tennis ball machines. I’ve been charging with the adapter that came with my machine with no ill effect. Most lithium batteries have battery management hardware that keeps it healthy - check the description of the battery you’re looking at before hitting the “buy” button.
