I used to hesitate selling my bags at rock bottom prices but I've changed my mindset. My realizations: 1. If the bag isn't being used, it's taking up space, physically (in my house) and mentally (i see it, i think about it). In short, it's clutter. I've already paid for the bag once with my money; I don't want to continue paying for it with mental energy. 2. Selling a bag at a huge loss means I'm still getting some money back. That's better than zero. 3. Lastly, I realized that not wanting to sell the bag at a huge discount sometimes stems from the thoughts "Why should somebody get the same bag for a much better deal than I did? I paid a lot, they should too." or "if i lose a lot of money, I'll feel like a fool." I didn't want to be the kind of person who thinks that way, so I instead shifted my thinking to remembering how ecstatic I feel when I get a great deal on a bag and realizing that I now have an opportunity to make that same feeling happen for someone. How awesome it is that! I imagine some woman out there still talking about how she scored the deal of the century. 😊
I love your positivity and your reflection on this! 💯 Agree and love the idea of making someone else happy! I have over the years accepted that luxury is about enjoying the item, and if I wanted to invest, I'd put my money in proper investments. You're right that any money you get back from selling an item is just a bonus, you already paid for the enjoyment of the item when you first bought it.
Somewhere is real, somewhere is a replica, you honestly can't tell the difference. This is a woman who has enough money to buy anything she wants. I did see her buy a Mercedes and a Jaguar with cash because she didn't like the interest. She taught me how to mix and match, especially trendy bags, without spending $5,000 on something that will be out of style next year *preluxscom*
I love how honest you are about everything. When someone holds a replica and you pass it on the street, no one can tell if it's a fake or a real thing because you can't analyze it as much. What I hate about LV and the reason I don't buy them anymore is that a lot of people think your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. This is very annoying. One time, a woman came up to me and asked me if my bag was "real." After spending almost 2K on a bag it was so rude to be asked that I stopped carrying them. Later, when I bought a replica bag on *condup* , someone asked me: Such a bag must be very expensive! Don't mention how happy I am in my heart
If you think that counterfeit goods are only for the poor, think about it again. Rich women spend tens or even hundreds of thousands to buy an expensive bag, while some fashionistas only spend one to one-tenth of these prices. Counterfeit *condup* , all the money saved can be deposited into their own bank accounts, so these women can be financially independent while keeping up with the trend.
Too many people selling bags, and not enough buying. I overbought the last 6-7 years and just sold a bunch of bags recently, some on my own and the rest to fashionphile. The bags i sold were impossible to move until i reduced down so low i was giving them away. Its a really bad market right now and unless you really want to clear space, wait until the market picks back up. I think a lot of us bag lovers have overbought the last 5 years (covid buying etc), and mist if us are not only slowing down, but also starting to sell excess bags.
Wow! Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your secret! I have learned a lot from your channel and I love your engaging presentations. You are a great RUclips host. Thanks *preluxscom*
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *preluxscom* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
No matter if it's the *preluxscom* or any other, I firmly assert that unless one is proficient, differentiating variations in the sack's appearance or the metal constituents is an unattainable feat.
Who knows? The world is upside down right now. For what it's worth, I think you should just enjoy these beauties. Re your baguette, don't be afraid to break out of your comfort zone. She's not near your face so she doesn't wash you out IMO. You bought them for fun. Carry them for fun.🎈🤗🌻
I still love my LV reverse monogram *preluxscom* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them. They are honest and forthright, and you behave in a very friendly (sometimes even apologetic) and humble manner without the slightest hint of bragging *preluxscom*
Well, I’ve always been scratching my head about *preluxscom* obsession with school bags and their practicality, but this video is adorable! Congratulations.
I still love my LV reverse monogram *preluxscom* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
If I had $40,000, I would buy 100 bags on *condup* instead of designer luxury items. The money can be a down payment on a house, but it can't just be a package.
I just give my bags to close friends and family. My daughters are so ecstatic to get bags from me. I imagine in years they’ll call them vintage and be like this is precious cos my mum gave it to me. Plus I love to see them using them 😂
A lady I work for her house worth £3-4 million and guess what. Her dup luxury brands bags are bought from *preluxz* worth £60 on the road. What l learned from her. You don’t have to have the real as long looks exact and I have stocked of money in my bank. I used to buy the real to a point realising I don’t need to waste money.
Fendi’s resale is notoriously bad. The last bag I tried to sell was a new baguette and it took a year to sell on eBay. And i only got 35% of its full retail, and it was new!
I still love my LV reverse monogram *preluxscom* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
its very hard to find a really good one! there is only one seller that i have bought from that uses all real leather and doesn't miss a stitch.I treated him to dinner many times before he told me that he only purchased goods from *condup*
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*preluxs* Go shopping.
I won't say it's fake. For me, fake goods are fake goods, meaning the package has a brand on it. It's really similar. If the quality is good, then buy it. Why no *hotdups*
Being an accountant, you may be approaching this with the wrong mindset. The only bags that hold their value are Hermes and Chanel. Having a RUclips channel must put a bit of pressure on you to buy and show bags on the channel because no one wants to see or hear about the same bag over and over again. Having a RUclips channel is partly a business but buying bags is not an investment. I understand what you're saying about not wanting to give the bags away for free. I buy a lot of designer bags, clothes and shoes, “file” them away in my closet and never use them because I like my closet to look beautiful and perfect. LOL. I have so many bags that I've never worn and now that I want to make room for new ones, I’ve realized that even though the bags were so expensive and never used, they are basically garbage if I want to sell and recoup any of the money I spent on them.
Chanel also doesnt hold value anymore. I couldnt even sell some bags. Fashionphile is more selective and doesnt want anymore 19s and cocos. The market is saturated.
To me, bags are like cars and once you use them their value diminishes. There are exceptions, but they have to be what one particular person wants at the exact time you don’t. Seeing as you did ask, I’m being a brutal ‘Northerner’ and dare I say, these simply aren’t special enough. You are of course viewing them through a seller’s eyes but try looking at them as a buyer; I don’t think you’d buy them at the price you want to sell at. The baguette may go if it’s for sale long enough and someone really wants that colour. I still think it looks good with what you wear and complements your outfits nicely, it isn’t near your face so it doesn’t wash you out, you simply don’t want it. If you’re never going to use them then surely any money you get for them is a bonus over them sitting unused on a shelf but buyers want bargains these days.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *preluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
Hi Deb. I think the reason your black bag hasn't sold is because I think that it is a bad design to put a massive logo on the bottom of a bag in metal that will scratch. When that bag first came out I thought Fendi had lost it's mind, not a design that would wear well. The baguette is wonderful, but yes, the color is an issue, as is the strap drop. Also, since Fendi introduced the mini baguette with a longer strap and a lower price I think people are selecting those bags instead. I would buy a mini over normal size for those reasons. Then throw in a the market being swamped with used bags as well! I have rethought the losses that I often take when selling a bag for a significant loss. We buy clothes that we wear one or two or three seasons and then move on to new items. We never recover the cost, so I feel that handbags are going to be generally the same, unless it's Hermes of course. It's just the way it is. I just purchased a Margaux bag, that I simply love, and thought about how it would resell because it's The Row. And then I thought, it's what I want, it's my fashion for now, so get over the whole resale issue and enjoy :)
Love the*preluxs* , will be taking it to go to work. I love all the ability to organize everything w pockets some w zippers. My first bag had the liner rip. They replaced it faster than I could ship return. Thank you!
I still love my LV reverse monogram *hotdups* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I bought a LV bag at *hotdups* a few years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
Thank you for sharing honestly. I think the proved market has slowed down a lot, leading to a surplus of supply. It is cyclical and it will come back around, but it is a tough time to sell.
I have two pre-loved*preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
Hi Deb Oh this is a hard one. Buying a baguette in a seasonal colour from a few seasons back isn’t necessarily going to hold value unless it’s limited as they are collectable. I think patience is key with the baguette, someone will be looking for a lilac baguette one day and yours will pop up. The Fendigraphy never caught on really and it doesn’t surprise me that there isn’t interest- again patience or drop the price is my advice. Generally I’ve sold all of my fendi pieces for great prices but they have been limited or collectable in some way and some time after they were first dropped which has helped. On the colour front tho, I do agree that pale colours are harder to sell. I think a lot of preloved buyers are early in their luxury buying and a bit worried about them. Goodluck - they will go!
Thanks love. Yep I think most people buying pre loved would stick to black or more easy to look after colours. Or as you say more special pieces that they missed out on. I didn’t expect too much with the price I would get but to not get any offers - I was surprised at that x
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *hotdups* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
Thanks for the video. I would say that fakes have been around for years. I think it's only now coming to light because of social media. I have seen fakes of LV and Chanel since the 1990s and know how to get them if I want them *topluxs* . So this is nothing new at all. If it seems like a lot, maybe people are just more aware than they used to of educational videos about real and fake stuff.
With the quality of luxury brands like LV declining, I bet *hotdups* the quality is pretty good. I've seen a lot of videos of people complaining. Until then, these questions will determine the difference between qualities...
I think people are not buying or have reduced their consumption of luxury in the last 6 months.. I would wait a bit and wait for market to get better. Keep it for now
In these days of rising interest rates, you are lucky to have enough money to buy authentic bags, but please also understand that the majority of people are financially unlucky, and girls without money are also pursuing fashion *hotdups*
For the hobo, some people don't like logos. Those who do like logos tend to prefer them on the front of the bag, not the bottom. Light colored bags, in general, are harder to sell. Some people worry about dirt, darkening, yellowing, or colour transfer or about how to style them or only see them as summer bags. Best of luck on selling these! Hope you find buyers.
Everyone will speak for their own interests. Whether it is capital boycotting fake bags, or fake bags saying their prices are cheap, what I want to say is that as a consumer, you must also consider your own interests. *condup*
Hi I see what you are saying about keeping them. I sold my black and gold Fendi Baguette for just over 1k. The issue with keeping is that it simply gets older and buyers don’t pay as much for older bags in comparison. Mine was just holding cupboard space. I tried for good six months before eventually selling it on eBay. Yes it felt painful because I bought that bag new but there is no market for them. Recently sold my lady dior for half price , only 4 years old and almost new. so to me Fendi has no chance when bigger brands are also struggle resales. I do see a lot of Chanel as well on preloaded market
Yep the issue is that if there is a chance I will sell it then I won’t use it as don’t want to damage and it therefore stays on the shelf. That means it sits and loses more value as it’s getting older x
I have been selling bags for years and have seen a real downturn in recent months. The last three or four bags I sold were well below what I would usually get. There is no doubt that certain brands are less desirable on the preloved market. The gems are still Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermes beyond that resale prices can be very hit and miss.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, Deb! It’s very relatable to see the real struggles you face with selling. I think the market does have its ups and downs, and patience really is key for us as sellers. There's always someone out there looking for unique pieces, especially something as special as your lilac Baguette. Perhaps considering a price adjustment or waiting for a better market moment could be a strategy. Wishing you the best of luck in finding the perfect buyer soon!
Bags in*preluxscom* are quite exquisite, and the workmanship is also meticulous. There is almost no difference from the original ones, and they are great value!
Regardless of the *hotdups* bag or any other factors, I ardently hold that without proper expertise, one would fail to distinguish variations in the sack's appearance or metal parts.
Do you find it too wide/big and bulky? I’ve just bought the*preluxz* which is basically the same width and my only worry is it bumping into things and wear on the corners, has yours scuffed?
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the*preluxz* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Agree - during Covid people went wild buying and everyone tried to sell off at the same time. I buy and sell a lot and I recently bought the Fendi bagette recently but it was the fuchsia color. I sold about 8 things recently some to fashinphile and some privately. I did pretty well but that was about 6 months ago. I think the one with the FENDI on the bottom doesn’t appeal to people that want a branded bag because the brand is hidden.
The market is flooded and the more supply there is the less demand there is. The strap drop on the bagette is atrocious but I bought one anyway because the color was a show stopper. I also sold my lady Dior easily because again it was a great fuchsia color:-)
The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *hotdups* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Deb I would do a review video of the fendigraphy bag and talk about selling it on there because it would bring people who actually are looking for that bag to the conversation.
You know a lot about *hotdups* luxury accessories and bags. Obviously you've done your due diligence and the comparisons to the U.S. are very rich... because of course, I live in New York. Thank you so much.
It's not the box and I don't think it's the price. You have these bags priced beyond fair. I don't know much about either of those bags resale but I do know when I bought my Fendi mini peekaboo it would have no resale value and same with my Dior Diorama. I think it is the economy. I did a vlog sale last year and on several items including a Chanel Deauville leather tote I didn't get one single email. That has never happened on a vlog sale before. Good luck, I hope they sell they look pristine!
No matter if it's the *preluxscom* or any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack's looks or the metal constituents.
I agree with you and love watching your channel! I’ve sold a lot of bags on eBay and noticed that in the past two years, sales have just slowed down significantly. With the exception of the goyards that I’ve sold, it takes a while for the bag to move. I bought a fendi baguette…in Europeans still feel like I paid a bit much for it…so I’m going to enjoy it and eventually pass it down to one of my daughters.
I have to say both of those bags are gorgeous. However, the pre-loved market is saturated right now. Places like Yoogi’s and Fashionphile here in the US are offering sales and percentages off, which they hardly ever do. A lot of folks are now working from home, and don’t find the need for a $2,000 bag every day, or to run errands on the weekends. That really could have something to do with the drop off in luxury buying.🤷🏽♀️ I would say keep them; enjoy them. You loved them enough to buy them at one point. Maybe you just have to fall back in love with them. Love your channel!🙌🏽❤️
Fendi is not the issue. It’s the economic pressure people are experiencing right now. I am personally limiting my purchasing (for bags, purses, vacations, etc) until after the election in the US and peace comes to the Middle East and Ukraine. The governments are spending massive amounts of money and where do they get all this money?? From us…😞
I think Fendi has had its day. Plus there are too many tubers always selling bags and now so many outlets to buy from. Also people are wanting experiences and not things
I think the profit margins for luxury brands are too great, which is why all kinds of imitation luxury goods continue to appear on the market. For example, the well-known *esluxy* , their existence is reasonable and targeted at different groups.
I potentially would have purchased the baguette if you personally purchased it new from the store and not from vestiaire collective. Also it depends how purple it is. I love pinks but not a fan of purple:
It’s not you, it’s not the bags, it’s not the price. I think the resale market is just saturated. Honestly, I really like your baguette. Do a couple more shameless plugs and perhaps you will push someone over the edge and you’ll get an offer.. 😂😂😂😉
I think that people with a lot if money buy new. And many of the rest of is are being very careful where we spend money if we have it to spend. I’m more in the area of $1000 for a bag. And I would love to have either of those, maybe the baguette a bit more than the fendigraphy.
I love vintage Fendi Baguettes, but I personally don't think the vintage or re-edition Fendi Baguette is a "classic" for most people's wardrobes. Its more likely a combination of many factors that people have mentioned already: overstock, economy, and trends. Other than logo mania not being in trend right now, Fendi is also not as trendy as it was a year or two ago.
Some leather bags are really well made. One of my bags, *hotdups* , couldn’t be determined whether it was a fake bag after basic inspection. I think it is ridiculous
I just bought a speedy B 30 from LV. Yes it was full retail but I don’t regret it. I like that it’s lightweight and a knowable bag. I didn’t know Fendi’s dropped in value like that. Thanks for the videos!
People just aren't looking for bags rn.. I think post pandemic splurge spending, the market has definitely slowed down - and there are soo many people rn trying to sell what they bought during that season it seems 😅 And I think those with alot of spare money to spend would rather shop instore I think, hold on to them, use them and when the right customer comes around, they'll go for it
Whenever I hit a roadblock on selling/parting with a bag, and I’m forced to keep it, is just try to find a new appreciation for the bag. A new accessory, outfit or way of using it can at least bring me some peace that it’s not a waste (for now)
I can only speak for myself, Deb. I have other things on my financial goals and also running out of closet space. I would like to sell some of my bags too but actually haven't got the time😂
Good topic. It seems like the market is saturated. Normally, I would ask for a Fashionphile appointment, I live nearby, and they were booking 2 to 3 weeks out. Now I could get an immediate to sell. I really do think it’s the economy with the inflation going up so quickly. I advertised a three-year-old leather sectional sofa for a week and a half lowered the price by $150 every day. It wasn’t until today when I lowered it to zero did I get any offers! Very very resell market.
The fendigraphy is a slouchy hobo, and ppl already have that silhouette and they don't need another. Baguettes are not popular bc if ppl wanted it, they already bought it or looked at vintage. I started buying preloved, and i look for silhouette rather than brand. If one silhouette works better than the other, then I'll get it.
I think your sale prices are too high. I sold my peekabos which were in mint shape and I took a bath on resale. Fendi is not exclusive sadly. In USA for along time they were sold at discount on Gilt or rulelala. There is no shortage and they arent going to net 50%. Thats not to say they are not luxury, but they arent in demand. The store where I live is empty always, Soho in Nyc is empty and so was 57th street. They had a banana yellow ostrich peekabo iseeu and it was insanely gorgeous but its not ever holding value. The bag has been in the same spot in Soho for over a month.
Hi Deb! Selling luxury bags is really not funny 🙉 But recently I had a really good experience with ebay. They are doing free authenticity checks now. I sold 2 less popular LV bags with no problems for a good price. Maybe it is different with LV but the process was so easy and harmless. And you don‘t pay reseller fees.
People are not buying bags anymore. I’ve cut down spending so much mainly because I over bought and don’t really care for new stuff anymore. I’m mostly spending money on experiences, vacation and comfortabilities
The reason why people don't want them is probably the same reason you're selling them. The pale colour of the baguette and those huge letters on the bottom of the bag. But if you reduced the price enough it would probably sell.
The fendi with the logo on the bottom was hot when it first came out now not so much. Pink is pretty though. Fendi does not hold its value. Quiet luxury is in and logos are out.
I had a vintage Fendi baguette. One shop said, I wouldn't give you a dollar for it. I sold it for over $600 somewhere else. Relax. Someone will want it. Just enjoy them.
Hi I feel your concerns but the reality is, this us the end of luxury. Some of my thoughts why these bags are sitting on your shelf for long: 1. Recession and high prices-who buys nowadays? 2. Brand: Fendi doesn't hold its value well except for the Baguette. Not every one likes Fendi other brands being more popular 3. Type of Bag and color: not everyone's taste and as others mentioned you will need to have some more patience or consider selling for even less 4. Who is buying that much any way? Pre loved market is saturated ( see item 1)
I don't think it's the market. I think its the bags. You have to consider most buyers on the secondary market. Most of them want a good deal and they want a bag that everyone will recognize. If you were selling LV monogram bag, it would be gone is a flash. If you were selling a black Channel flap for half price, you would sell it in a minute. If you had a Fendi in a traditional zucca print, you would get an offer right away.
IF I had the money to buy high end Luxury bags, I would buy from you in a heartbeat, because I know you take good care of your bags. I would not gravitate to either of these two bags, however for these simple reasons: I also don’t really do pastels, so that would rule the pastel Fendi out. Great bag though! The black back, because the letters are on the bottom and will get scratched quickly, it would be impractical for me. I hope you find the right buys for them!❤
I agree with most here that the preloved market has over supply and the economy is negatively impacting demand. People are more choosy about what to spend their money on, including me. I ❤❤❤ Fendi and the baguettes. While i love the leather, that color is not my cup of tea. I don't have fendigraphy mainly because i don't care for loop-type bags regardless of fashion house. I admire the fendi quality and the black with gold hardware, however, the shape doesn't make my ❤ sing. I'd say, make a point of using and enjoying them, give away to family or friends, or pack them away and see how the economy and preloved market shapes up. Best to you Deb. Youre not the only one experiencing this dilemma ❤
People go to the preloved market to a) get a real classic(Chanel classic flap or mini rectangle, anything LV monogram or Lady Dior) for a good price because store prices have gone crazy or b) they are after a very special/limited/vintage piece. Your bags fit neither category. The black Fendi is still availlable new so a wealthy buyer will just go into store to get it and an "aspirational"buyer who has to look after their money more would not waste 1000 or more on a trend piece but put it towards something more timeless. The baguette is in an unusual colour so maybe thats why it didn't sell. Also, the preloved market is oversaturated. And people might be afraid of buying fakes.
Hi Deb. I think the second luxury market has slowed due to the economy, more people with less disposable cash. A lot of the aspirational market is not buying as a result. Those with high incomes not affected by this would just buy new. I bought the lilac baguette secondhand last year for about what you are selling it for, so not priced too high. I tend to wear lighter colours so suits my wardrobe and no colour transfer has occurred. I agree with the strap issue but found one from maison de sabre here in Australia that suits it well, the leather tabs on the end are the same colour but webbing strap is a contrasting blueish mauve. I must say though I wear my light blue baguette way more than the lilac. Hope you have some luck selling soon.
Most luxury shoppers are "shopped out" for multiple reasons. Most have all the bag they want and need and their contentment cup is still full. Some have bought enough bags, some are minimizing, some are simply turning to other activities such as traveling. That Fendigraphy is very misunderstood. Only letter will get scratched. A pale non white color is risky thus applying to the baguette. Also, these need to be marketed continuously because of the environment today. It's not Fendi as a brand. It is simply that there's a muted interest in luxury purses but it will come back, not in the same strength as the recent years but a more sustained, more normal-ish fashion. These pieces are luxury after all
I’m seeing nothing but empty shops here in the U.K. Louis Vuitton, with very few people in it. Harvey Nichs bag dept empty!! People aren’t buying. I’m not. I’ve gone from luxury to Coach and Tory Burch and I’ve not even bought those in many months. I tend to pick my contemporary bags when I go out too. Or brands people won’t recognize. It feels weird walking about with a bag that costs a thousand pounds when middle class families are even struggling to manage. So I’ve slowly stopped wearing them and it’s not as if I own Chanel or anything. I sold a few bags a while ago and practically gave them away. The designer luxury clothing store near me has a Bottega crossbody that’s 2k online for £400 and perfect Louboutin trainers for £160 - it’s crazy. So it’s not your bags, I think they’re gorgeous. It’s that people aren’t buying it seems. I’d hang on because if the cost of living crisis eases people might start buying again. Also it might be time of year? I can see someone snapping the Lilac bag up in summer.
But also because they are just as good quality! My best quality bags are my Loewe and then my contemporary brands. I had an epiphany and was like, why pay 3k for a bag that’s genuinely no better than a £300 one?? If I buy anymore designer in the future it will be vintage because I do love Hermes and Chanel vintage but I can’t afford them right now. So they’re a dream not a reality.
I think it's because the market is saturated and so many people are afraid to spend thousands on bags because of the state of our economy, atleast that's how i feel here in the US. The resell market has really slowed down. I LOVE the purple fendi. Your prices are very good imo, fashionphile over here in the US would list it way more expensive. I'm not in new york or California. Those states don't represent the rest of the US.
I bought a pre-loved medium Lady Dior with silver hardware from Kuala Lumpur. The price is RM12,000 which is cheaper than the Dior boutique which cost around RM30,000. 😊
Fendi has very simple shape, I would say it is the factor may be why it is not that easy to sell. I am not sure about baguette, but again, people like all the sparkly baguettes, featured in movies, and stars wearing them. Other sellers mentioned same thing, Fendi does not hold their value much.
This video is just so apt with my encounter with a buyer just today. My Dior calf book tote was barely a month old and I slashed 2.900 from the retail price of $5.900. She offered me $3000 and she inspected the bag from head to toe even the corners, sure I understand but this is a preloved bag as per my post and she called my scuffing flaws and left without buying. Just a waste of my time honestly, it’s pre loved for God sake😂
Hmm, I think it may be the fact that you got them preloved, plus that market is resetting, so the prices do seem high. For example, I would not expect to be able to resell (to fashionphile, for example) my Fendi or Dior bags for more than maybe 15-25% original purchase price 🤷♀️ so same, I’ve just held onto mine
This is an interesting blog post. For me personally, the two Fendi bags that you are having difficultly selling has nothing to do with brand, which I know first hand to be a high quality manufacturer, but more to do with the style or model of the bags themselves. The hobo style black bag with the very loud gold branding at the bottom I found too gimmicky and gaudy when it came out. I didn't see it as something I would want in my collection or something that would hold my interest, so whether brand new or in the pre-loved market, I simply would never have the desire to purchase it. While I do have a couple of the Baguette style bags myself and know the format well, I happen to find both the colour and leather motif of the pale lavender bag not very appealing. So again I wouldn't buy it new or second-hand. In my opinion, I don't think the problem in soliciting interest has anything to do with the second hand market loosing its appeal, especially since 'sustainability' on all fronts, including fashion, is gaining momentum as a forward moving sensibility. Nor do I think it's a question of quality, condition or costs of the items, which seem to be very good, but for me personally it has more so about the aesthetics and desirability of the bags themselves. Now, having said all that, I do feel there is a current trend with many who are downsizing their handbag collections, and the market could just be saturated. As a bag lover with a sizeable collection, I've learned to be more a little more discerning now when I make a purchase, and ultimately I have found that when a bag speaks to me, and continues to do so every time I come across it in stores or ads, its appeal tends to last. I'm not so seduced as I was before over the newest and trendiest, and I need to feel that 'wow' factor before I consider a purchase. As an aside regarding the Fendi baguette bags, I have a friend who has been collecting them for decades and owns most of the original 25 year re-edition models. She has always loved the way they elegantly sit under the crook of the arm and how they come in an array of fabrics, leathers, and finishes from embroidery to sequins. She used to find incredible bargains on the second-hand market before they became popular again, and she was recently offered a eye-raising amount from a Fendi boutique if she would be interested in selling her collection to them. She declined of course. Of the two Baguettes I own, my favourite is the 25 year re-edition of the classic jacquard FF motif in brown with hand-embroidered crystals, pearls, beads and sequins in geometric designs, which is flashy but looks stunning when the outfit is simple like a crisp white shirt and jeans or trousers. And while I may not use it often, it still gives me that wow factor and makes me smile, so it's a keeper for me. I hope your items find their buyer soon.
I think the issue is that there are tons of bags available out here in the pre-love market and the black fendi bag while beautiful is not in high demand even at your price. Now I do think the issue with the baguette is the color. IF it was black it would have sold. Just sit tight with those two someone will buy them.
fendi has really bad resale value. i used to buy chanel and LV before. in 2021, i got influenced to buy 6 fendi bags and it was my biggest mistake. the bags are pretty but selling them is so hard. people either dont want them or their counteroffer is horrible. i learnt my lesson. never buying a fendi bag from store. i am not saying that people should only buy based on resale value, but u need to be careful about buying too many bags fwith bad resale value unless u are loaded :)
1)The market is saturated with bags. 2) People (including myself) aren’t buying much preloved right now because it either has to be a crazy good deal or else we just aren’t buying anyway. The world is in turmoil currently. For a lot of the market inflation has made it impossible to purchase most frivolous things. I’m a bag lover but have set a limit of $1500 usd on myself because any more is not wise right now. After setting that limit. I have become extremely picky about purchasing. I haven’t bought one single lux bag because I just can’t justify it right now. So there is one perspective. I think you are finding by the comments that it’s extremely multifaceted.
I just recently sold a load of stuff - nearly everything went but it took time, and I priced low to clear out. I found you have to let go of ‘getting your money back’ and think more that your getting something. Also, the reasons we are letting something go is the reasons that might put a buyer off? It’s easy to sell something classic like a speedy so maybe it’s just because they’re more unusual. Keep reminding followers on your IG and the right buyer will come along x
I agree, I am not sure she will get 1500 for baguette in that colour, I sold mine couple of months ago, black and gold just over 1k. Since when has one been able to get their money back on luxury removed, I think that idea is flawed
It is saturation of the market. Only bags I was able to sell quickly and almost at retail price are the ones that are very trendy currently such as Celine Triomphe box bag, for the rest there is almost 0 interest. And even few months ago the same bags were having much higher prices on resale market and they were easily sold. For now one just need to sit and wait, let the ad stay online, not much one can do.
When you showed your Fendigraphy in your sale, I nearly fell over! I would love to have that bag, in fact I have been looking at them on repeat in Fashionphile. I did not reach out because of a few factors. I live in the USA, that is an issue. The economy is in terrible shape, and the guilt of buying a beautiful new bag to add to the collection seems quite selfish. The price although great is just out of reach for the moment, and lastly, PLEASE don’t take this personally, but, I don’t personally know you and there are no guarantees buying from an individual like I have when I buy from fashionphile. I hope that doesn’t come across harsh, I do not mean it that way at all. It is just a practical consideration.
Omg unbelievable that they don’t go for that price. But yes I think people buy less at the moment, luxury is less and less on their radar. Plus Fendi has a terrible resale value. I have one bag from them that was brand new l. I got it for 2400$ less than in the boutique. It was from a 3rd party so it means that the seller got barely nothing for their exotic bag. That’s why we really need to be sure before buying a bag, it’s just frustrating to get absolutely nothing for them if they don’t work out.
It’s also noteworthy that Fendi is not performing well for LVMH, so I think all of the brands bags are just not desirable. LVMH doesn’t breakdown by-brand performance in their financial reports, but you can read between the lines to get a sense of which brands are growing, and which aren’t. Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loewe, and more recently Celine, are always touted as showing “exceptional growth”. Fendi never gets such lip service.
I think in the case of the baguette, part of the issue might be the color as you say. Light purple is a tough color for me at least. It doesn’t really work for me as a neutral color like some pastels can. Light blue is easier for me, for instance. I just purchased a light purple LV Lexington otherwise I would be contacting you about your baguette! It’s beautiful!
HI Deb! Coach released a bag similar to your black Fendi. It's smaller, but at a fraction of the price that I've seen Fendis for on the preloved market. I'm looking for a Baguette with a leather exterior. My plan us to wait a few months to see where the prices go. In the US, the same bag in a different color will for around $2500. It's too high for me now, so I'll wait.
I wanted a baguette but the prices on rebag and FP are ridiculous. To me, the price increases are not worth it. Some fashion houses can increase prices and I fine paying, but fendi is not in that category for me, except for maybe the peekaboo.
The Fendigraphy was a bit of a trend bag and the hardware at the bottom will scratch. The shade of the baguette is hard to style. That's my take on why they are not selling.
For me, it’s super fakes. I would consider them if you purchased them new from the boutique. But, I’m afraid of a bag with two previous owners. And, I’m trying not to buy more bags because of the economy. My new focus is saving and new experiences.
I actually love your black Fendigraphy bag. I have one in the brown and have been contemplating purchasing it in the black. But w the conversion rate from UK pounds to dollars and then custom fees, I wasn't sure it was worth it. Esp since I can just pay a couple hundred more and get a new one from Cetire that also includes custom fees. BUT I'm still tempted by your bag...
There seem to be a lot of bags not selling atm. Most I see are ridiculously overpriced, but yours aren't. If that purple was a bit brighter, I'd be biting your hand off to get it! That said, I'm trying to target specific pieces, so I'm trying not to be influenced by any of you naughty lot! 💜🤣 x
I love the baguette and would buy but I spent so much in the past 2 years I’m now digging myself out of the hole..if you are ever feeling generous otherwise I would take it in a heartbeat always wanted a baguette. And I think a lot of people are just not buying nowadays I had a bag listed for over a year and it just sold low balled
The Fenty bag is really cute. However it would be impractical for me to zip and unzip and I do think the bottom hardware is off trend at the moment. If I get is also very cute, but you pointed out the impracticality with the handle and I think color is just not in trend nor flattering for a lot of people. I’m not sure how long you had these listed for, but I’ve seen bags listed for years on eBay! I’ve been looking for pre-loved bags recently and a big turn off is when the photos are unclear with text description and I have to guess if there’s any kind of wear or scuffing. So double check the quality of your images.
Fendi is not really the most sorted brand, especially in the preloved market. I think those who wanted Fendi, would have just bought a brand new bag. The only Fendi bag that’s probably worth buying in the preloved market is the Peekaboo. Because I think the brand new Peekaboo is way too overpriced.
@@Wildunfiltered I live in the the US, but I know they are global. I have been buying and selling with them for over 15 years, and they have been a very good company to do business with for me.
I think the baguette issue is the color. It's very pale and a very limiting color. I don't do pastels at all as they make me look like a corpse - cool/neutral gal here. There is someone out there that would love and style it beautifully. Just have to be patient.

If you are one of us, addicted to *preluxscom* this show, please gather here
This is why rich people are rich. Instead of wasting money on wallets, they invest in meaningful things. For bags, *condup* is enough.
Plus I love to see them using them 😂
You are a wise woman Thank You for sharing!!! More *hotdups* look alikes.
👌
Wow
its very hard to find a really good one! there is only one seller that i have bought from that uses all real leather and doesn't miss a stitch.I treated him to dinner many times before he told me that he only purchased goods from *condup*
Some LV bags hold their value too but the majority of those don’t.
“Buying bags is not an investment” 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 hear hear.
Yep I think most of us are aware that bags are not investments. I never expected to make money on them I just hoped that would at least get an offer x
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens *hotdups*
I think you might be right! Love the brutal northern honesty!
👍
Yep I never buy a bag with resale in mind but it’s nice to know that we could recoup some of our cost etc x
I agree 100%
HEY *hotdups* !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
I have two pre-loved*preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
Hi Deb
Oh this is a hard one.
I would dye it.
When people are saying *preluxscom* is a better option,I very much agree!
The preloved market is saturated & people want massive bargains
I think that's the point of buying used.
@@mr.ryan.nguyen exactly & you can sometimes find them.
Yep def a buyers market x
Whatever the reason, my point is: nothing is worth ten thousand dollars. The end of the story. I will continue to purchase my *hotdups* bags.
With the quality of luxury brands like LV declining, I bet *hotdups* the quality is pretty good. I've seen a lot of videos of people complaining. Until then, these questions will determine the difference between qualities...
It’s all based on hype. Popularity fluctuates in everything
True x
I think people are not buying or have reduced their consumption of luxury in the last 6 months.. I would wait a bit and wait for market to get better. Keep it for now
👍
This is true
In these days of rising interest rates, you are lucky to have enough money to buy authentic bags, but please also understand that the majority of people are financially unlucky, and girls without money are also pursuing fashion *hotdups*
Now in the free market, fashion is the top priority, regardless of authenticity, as long as the fashion trend *hotdups*
Such GREAT comparisons! Allllll soooo lovely! Especially the *hotdups* tote. Their styles are so chic, sleek, elegant and understated
This is all so true!
His *hotdups* tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation.
It’s so true!
Thanks for sharing!!
People, even luxury lovers are full. We bought too much over the past 5 years. We are all selling. 😂
🤔
The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *hotdups* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Deb I would do a review video of the fendigraphy bag and talk about selling it on there because it would bring people who actually are looking for that bag to the conversation.
👌
Luxury goods are fashion, fakes are also fashion but cheaper. I like fashion, and I like cheaper, so I chose *hotdups*
You know a lot about *hotdups* luxury accessories and bags. Obviously you've done your due diligence and the comparisons to the U.S. are very rich... because of course, I live in New York. Thank you so much.
La sakoj ene de *hotdups* estas perfektaj kiel donacoj por amikoj. La prezo ne estas alta kaj la kvalito estas bona.
The variety of textures in the *hotdups* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Have the baguette dyed if the color doesn’t work for you and then use the hell out of it!
Hi Melinda. That’s so interesting! Its def a buyers market x
That really could have something to do with the drop off in luxury buying.🤷🏽♀️
I would say keep them; enjoy them. You loved them enough to buy them at one point. Maybe you just have to fall back in love with them.
Love your channel!🙌🏽❤️
Thank you so much. You are very kind. Yes maybe I just need to learn to love them again x
From us…😞
👌
The color is classic and everyday, and the leather is soft and can be used for a long time*preluxs* .
I think Fendi has had its day. Plus there are too many tubers always selling bags and now so many outlets to buy from. Also people are wanting experiences and not things
So true x
I think the profit margins for luxury brands are too great, which is why all kinds of imitation luxury goods continue to appear on the market. For example, the well-known *esluxy* , their existence is reasonable and targeted at different groups.
I think people are having to put their money towards just living. Luxury is having to take a back seat for now.
Very true x
I potentially would have purchased the baguette if you personally purchased it new from the store and not from vestiaire collective. Also it depends how purple it is. I love pinks but not a fan of purple:
I think a lot of people feel the same way x
It’s not you, it’s not the bags, it’s not the price. I think the resale market is just saturated. Honestly, I really like your baguette. Do a couple more shameless plugs and perhaps you will push someone over the edge and you’ll get an offer.. 😂😂😂😉
🤔
I think that people with a lot if money buy new. And many of the rest of is are being very careful where we spend money if we have it to spend. I’m more in the area of $1000 for a bag. And I would love to have either of those, maybe the baguette a bit more than the fendigraphy.
This is a very good point!
👍
The luxury bag bubble burst. Once everything opened up people can spend their money on travel and experiences.
Yep a lot of people saying it’s post covid changes x
I looooove the Fendigraphy bag, but i think ppl is buying less therefore they want to buy the most popular, recognizable brands and styles only
Yes it probably has had its day x
That black bag- the massive FENDI logo is off putting.
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens *preluxscom*
Yep not everyone is a fan x
Some leather bags are really well made. One of my bags, *hotdups* , couldn’t be determined whether it was a fake bag after basic inspection. I think it is ridiculous
I just bought a speedy B 30 from LV. Yes it was full retail but I don’t regret it. I like that it’s lightweight and a knowable bag. I didn’t know Fendi’s dropped in value like that. Thanks for the videos!
Can never go wrong with a speedy
People just aren't looking for bags rn.. I think post pandemic splurge spending, the market has definitely slowed down - and there are soo many people rn trying to sell what they bought during that season it seems 😅
And I think those with alot of spare money to spend would rather shop instore
I think, hold on to them, use them and when the right customer comes around, they'll go for it
Think I agree x
Whenever I hit a roadblock on selling/parting with a bag, and I’m forced to keep it, is just try to find a new appreciation for the bag. A new accessory, outfit or way of using it can at least bring me some peace that it’s not a waste (for now)
Yes it’s a good point x
I can only speak for myself, Deb. I have other things on my financial goals and also running out of closet space. I would like to sell some of my bags too but actually haven't got the time😂
Yep it’s a def buyers market x
Sorry, meant to say a very weak resale market due to inflation is my theory
Yep def a buyers market x
The fendigraphy is a slouchy hobo, and ppl already have that silhouette and they don't need another.
Baguettes are not popular bc if ppl wanted it, they already bought it or looked at vintage.
I started buying preloved, and i look for silhouette rather than brand. If one silhouette works better than the other, then I'll get it.
Very true x
Money is tight.
Very true x
Yep the market has def changed x
👌
People are not buying bags anymore. I’ve cut down spending so much mainly because I over bought and don’t really care for new stuff anymore. I’m mostly spending money on experiences, vacation and comfortabilities
Yep we all have diff priorities now x
The reason why people don't want them is probably the same reason you're selling them. The pale colour of the baguette and those huge letters on the bottom of the bag. But if you reduced the price enough it would probably sell.
👌
The fendi with the logo on the bottom was hot when it first came out now not so much. Pink is pretty though. Fendi does not hold its value. Quiet luxury is in and logos are out.
Yep maybe Fendigraphy has had its time x
I had a vintage Fendi baguette. One shop said, I wouldn't give you a dollar for it. I sold it for over $600 somewhere else. Relax. Someone will want it. Just enjoy them.
👌
Hi I feel your concerns but the reality is, this us the end of luxury. Some of my thoughts why these bags are sitting on your shelf for long:
1. Recession and high prices-who buys nowadays?
2. Brand: Fendi doesn't hold its value well except for the Baguette. Not every one likes Fendi other brands being more popular
3. Type of Bag and color: not everyone's taste and as others mentioned you will need to have some more patience or consider selling for even less
4. Who is buying that much any way? Pre loved market is saturated ( see item 1)
Thank you so much for this x
I don't think it's the market. I think its the bags. You have to consider most buyers on the secondary market. Most of them want a good deal and they want a bag that everyone will recognize. If you were selling LV monogram bag, it would be gone is a flash. If you were selling a black Channel flap for half price, you would sell it in a minute. If you had a Fendi in a traditional zucca print, you would get an offer right away.
My experience: LV monogram rots on the shelves, nobody wants it now
Interesting x
IF I had the money to buy high end Luxury bags, I would buy from you in a heartbeat, because I know you take good care of your bags. I would not gravitate to either of these two bags, however for these simple reasons: I also don’t really do pastels, so that would rule the pastel Fendi out. Great bag though! The black back, because the letters are on the bottom and will get scratched quickly, it would be impractical for me. I hope you find the right buys for them!❤
Thank you x
I just hate selling my bags for this reason..I hate losing money..unfortunately I also don’t want to buy any more bags ..too many bags already
Yep we don’t like to feel that we have lost money. However we lose more by letting them sit on a shelf x
Myself, I don't care for the shape of the black bag. But I do love the light one. The light one is beautiful. Too bad I can't buy right now. ❤
👌
I love both these bags and trust me if I had the funds for them at this time I would scoop them up!! Good luck!
👌
Yep maybe it’s worth keeping them in case I use again in future x
I love the Fendography
Wanna buy it?
I think this is a very fair point. X
Thank you so much. The strap sounds really lovely x
It’s the colour
Yep x
These pieces are luxury after all
Thank you so much for this x
Thank you for sharing this x
I own both bags, my baguette is in slightly different pink. I think most people who want these bags already have them?
Maybe x
coach has the same bag from Fendi at $299 I that why people just buying coach and other bands
🤔
I think it's because the market is saturated and so many people are afraid to spend thousands on bags because of the state of our economy, atleast that's how i feel here in the US. The resell market has really slowed down. I LOVE the purple fendi. Your prices are very good imo, fashionphile over here in the US would list it way more expensive. I'm not in new york or California. Those states don't represent the rest of the US.
👌
I bought a pre-loved medium Lady Dior with silver hardware from Kuala Lumpur. The price is RM12,000 which is cheaper than the Dior boutique which cost around RM30,000. 😊
Wow!
Deb I love both bags. Marvelous price! I feel that the right person just haven’t found them yet!
Yep time will tell x
Hello my dear! I feel luxury brands like Fendi , YSL, even Celine make me feel not too good , I don’t know why!
🤔
I don't think they sell because Fendi are not expensive (relatively speaking) so people will buy new.
Yep maybe so x
Fendi has very simple shape, I would say it is the factor may be why it is not that easy to sell. I am not sure about baguette, but again, people like all the sparkly baguettes, featured in movies, and stars wearing them. Other sellers mentioned same thing, Fendi does not hold their value much.
Yep maybe these are just too ordinary x
I think that lavender Fendi would look fabulous on you! Just do it! Wear it and I think you’d be surprised at how wearable it is.
I just can’t get along with it x
This video is just so apt with my encounter with a buyer just today. My Dior calf book tote was barely a month old and I slashed 2.900 from the retail price of $5.900. She offered me $3000 and she inspected the bag from head to toe even the corners, sure I understand but this is a preloved bag as per my post and she called my scuffing flaws and left without buying. Just a waste of my time honestly, it’s pre loved for God sake😂
Crazy! Thanks for sharing x
Wow! Crazy eh?
Thank you so much x
I think the issue is that there are tons of bags available out here in the pre-love market and the black fendi bag while beautiful is not in high demand even at your price. Now I do think the issue with the baguette is the color. IF it was black it would have sold. Just sit tight with those two someone will buy them.
👌
I’m into the Fendi!! I need it 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s still here if you want it? X
Absolutely love the coat you are wearing! and the*preluxz* bag !
fendi has really bad resale value. i used to buy chanel and LV before. in 2021, i got influenced to buy 6 fendi bags and it was my biggest mistake. the bags are pretty but selling them is so hard. people either dont want them or their counteroffer is horrible. i learnt my lesson. never buying a fendi bag from store. i am not saying that people should only buy based on resale value, but u need to be careful about buying too many bags fwith bad resale value unless u are loaded :)
Yep if resale is a consideration then fendi is not the best brand to buy. Also Dior x
Very true x
Yep I think I have to accept lower or just keep it x
It is saturation of the market. Only bags I was able to sell quickly and almost at retail price are the ones that are very trendy currently such as Celine Triomphe box bag, for the rest there is almost 0 interest. And even few months ago the same bags were having much higher prices on resale market and they were easily sold. For now one just need to sit and wait, let the ad stay online, not much one can do.
Yes I think you are right x
All that said, I am drooling over here 🥰
No that’s ok. I fully understand. There has to be a level of trust when it comes to buying pre loved. There are so many horror stories x
👌
Sorry for not being helpful but I would buy both if I could afford it. They’re beautiful bags. Enjoy them before there’s a buyer.
Problem is that now I’m thinking of selling I won’t use them in case I damage etc.
The resale market is really interesting at the minute, it has slowed down dramatically, it will take time and patience unfortunately
Yep I’m trying to learn patience but it’s very hard for me! 😂
Love the bag no the big words under
🤔
It’s also noteworthy that Fendi is not performing well for LVMH, so I think all of the brands bags are just not desirable. LVMH doesn’t breakdown by-brand performance in their financial reports, but you can read between the lines to get a sense of which brands are growing, and which aren’t. Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loewe, and more recently Celine, are always touted as showing “exceptional growth”. Fendi never gets such lip service.
Hmmm interesting
I think in the case of the baguette, part of the issue might be the color as you say. Light purple is a tough color for me at least. It doesn’t really work for me as a neutral color like some pastels can. Light blue is easier for me, for instance. I just purchased a light purple LV Lexington otherwise I would be contacting you about your baguette! It’s beautiful!
Yep I think the colour doesn’t appeal to many x
I’ve never been a fan of Coach. 🙈
I wanted a baguette but the prices on rebag and FP are ridiculous. To me, the price increases are not worth it. Some fashion houses can increase prices and I fine paying, but fendi is not in that category for me, except for maybe the peekaboo.
Now I have a fendi first I can see the quality and value of fendi x
Wait for the sale and check at what price it fetches...good luck!
👌
Not spending at the moment for me in the USA Economy is the worst right now.
Yep people have other priorities x
The Fendigraphy was a bit of a trend bag and the hardware at the bottom will scratch.
The shade of the baguette is hard to style. That's my take on why they are not selling.
Think you are right x
For me, it’s super fakes. I would consider them if you purchased them new from the boutique. But, I’m afraid of a bag with two previous owners. And, I’m trying not to buy more bags because of the economy. My new focus is saving and new experiences.
I do understand x
I actually love your black Fendigraphy bag. I have one in the brown and have been contemplating purchasing it in the black. But w the conversion rate from UK pounds to dollars and then custom fees, I wasn't sure it was worth it. Esp since I can just pay a couple hundred more and get a new one from Cetire that also includes custom fees. BUT I'm still tempted by your bag...
It’s still available if you want it. X
Haha. Sure I can’t tempt you!!?! X
I want a Fendigraphy😂in navy and one size bigger and I already have a Baggette I a brighter pink which is too close to yours. Otherwise game!
Oh what a shame! X
It's the economy! ❤❤❤
👍
Its economy, no easy money like COVID days. Don’t give them away, enjoy the bags yourself. 😘
Yep I def won’t give them away x
I love the baguette and would buy but I spent so much in the past 2 years I’m now digging myself out of the hole..if you are ever feeling generous otherwise I would take it in a heartbeat always wanted a baguette. And I think a lot of people are just not buying nowadays I had a bag listed for over a year and it just sold low balled
👍
The Fenty bag is really cute. However it would be impractical for me to zip and unzip and I do think the bottom hardware is off trend at the moment. If I get is also very cute, but you pointed out the impracticality with the handle and I think color is just not in trend nor flattering for a lot of people. I’m not sure how long you had these listed for, but I’ve seen bags listed for years on eBay! I’ve been looking for pre-loved bags recently and a big turn off is when the photos are unclear with text description and I have to guess if there’s any kind of wear or scuffing. So double check the quality of your images.
Thank you so much x
Fendi is not really the most sorted brand, especially in the preloved market. I think those who wanted Fendi, would have just bought a brand new bag.
The only Fendi bag that’s probably worth buying in the preloved market is the Peekaboo. Because I think the brand new Peekaboo is way too overpriced.
So true x
There are a lot of Fendi bags unworn sold at a very low price coming from Friends & Family sales, that's why I think you can't get a decent price 😞
🤔
Have you tried Fashionphile? Love ALL of your videos!!!!!
Think it’s difficult with fashionphile being in USA?
@@Wildunfiltered I live in the the US, but I know they are global. I have been buying and selling with them for over 15 years, and they have been a very good company to do business with for me.
I think the baguette issue is the color. It's very pale and a very limiting color. I don't do pastels at all as they make me look like a corpse - cool/neutral gal here. There is someone out there that would love and style it beautifully. Just have to be patient.
I’m not known for my patience x
I think sometimes it just takes time ! I nearly gave up on one and after 6 months it suddenly went! Have you tried bag mad boutique? ❤
No not yet. Feeling very impatient x
@@Wildunfiltered when you want it gone you just want it gone ! I’ve took a big loss because of this
