That happened to me too!! A manager from another department asked me in front of everyone very loudly, how do you afford all of this? I ignored her the first time and brushed it away, but she asked again woth more attitude, then I told her if it was any of her business then she'd know. She never asked me again after and everyone was clapping me for standing up to her rude behavior
She sounds like a brat
@@SummeRain783 right?! She wasn't even my manager 😂
I am stunned, the leather material of this bag is great, I love it *preluxs* !
New friend here sending may full support *preluxs*
The bags are very cute, but the Coach tabby cat is my favorite Coach style. The taupe color is also very beautifu*preluxs* .
I feel this for so many reasons! One thing I find really interesting is that I don't have children and I'm not married so I can enjoy my money how I want. I splurge on bags and designer pieces. Then I get some judgment from people. This is the life I chose and I'm happy with it. These same judgey people tell me they spend $5K on hockey equipment for their kids, $1K on dance lessons. And that's awesome for their children, but my life is very different. How people spend their money is no one's business.
The hardware is great, very low profile, high quality stitching, and the leather is nice *preluxs* .
Exactly this!
I love the design, but I don't have the budget. So I bought the*preluxs* bag. Made from high quality legal snakeskin made by local Indonesian artists. From now on I never want to buy any luxury goods.
Regardless of the *preluxs* bag or any other factors, I ardently hold that without proper expertise, one would fail to distinguish variations in the sack's appearance or metal parts.
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*preluxs* Go shopping.
I’m so sorry, I hope you know I’m coming from a place of love when I say that my screen was so dark and I genuinely thought I saw a nun when opening this video 😂🫶💕
Haha, I see that!!🤣xx
😂😂😂😂
Now I can’t unsee it 😂😂😂
🤣🥰🥰so did I
You make a lovely Nun 🙏
I used to work in corporate and I carried a BV convertible bag. I changed my job - I’m a therapist for low income teens - and now I wear no designer. It’s quite nice!
Great video❤My boss (I’m his personal assistant) knows I love designer items and am child free by choice and just gave me a 12k pay rise😍I’m very lucky. In my old office job , this would have never happened
So I have to tell you my funny story. I had a Director telling another Director that I didn’t need a raise because I had a particular designer bag while we were walking to lunch but I didn’t have any clue. I said to her really I got this at the flea market for $20. I didn’t know it was
a knock off I was 23 and stupid, she fell out laughing and said next time you go to flea market call me I wanna go too. We became best friends over a fake bag. That was 30 years ago and we are still pals.
What a great story!!xx
I would not call that a friend
That is a is a funny story.😂
Is a more budget-friendly alternative*preluxscom* .
The variety of textures in the *hotduos* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
What I think of when people say “new money” is people who are aggressively trying to leave their old life behind by trying to ingratiate themselves with rich people and talk badly about poorer people and basically define their entire personality and self worth by their wealth.
I'm in Switzerland and I can't confirm what you mentioned. I think it really depends on a company you work for and ppl who surround you. What I unfortunately have seen a lot - ppl talking behind your back instead of minding their own business. I personally don't wear designer stuff at the office, maybe only bring small accessories such as sunglasses. No bags and garments for sure.
Agree. And locals Swiss would never bring expensive bag to work but might give you the look if you are dressed expensive
I also don't agree. I get "the look" just by wearing Zara and H&M. I bought a new bag once to work for a special event and my boss gave me a compliment "nice bag". I excitedly and naively replied "thanks, I also loved it. Plus got a discount so only cost me CHF 60! 🤩" She answered with "mine cost CHF 3 and I got it at a secondhand shop". If that is not passive aggressiveness, I don't know what is.
*preluxs* There is no competition in the world of fashion dups. These sacks are on a whole new level.
And one last thing. I get sooooo irritated when YT’ers and others say things like “don’t by a Neverfull because its so basic and everyone has one and half of them are fake “.
I call bullshit. Who cares if its fake or real.Bought Gucci Marmont bag on *preluxs* , I am honestly very satisfied with this company. Maybe the best I ever bought a bag from.
If you are one of us, addicted to *preluxs* this show, please gather here
I had a similar situation like yours. I made a mistake and took my LV Speedy Graffiti bag to work. My bosses wife saw it and told me that they paid me too much. Luckily left this job long time ago but learnt a lesson . Never again take any designer stuff to work.
It's so sad that business owners think they're the only ones who should make money and workers shouldn't ever be paid enough to afford luxury. It's the same principle at work with Amazon and LVMH etc where the owners have more money than could ever be spent and the workers can barely get by. I'm not anti-capitalist or wealth, but there is too much disparity between owners and what they pay workers.
Great finds I really enjoy watching your videos because you always thinking of the girlies that can’t afford designer and I am one of the girls and I love it I will be making a couple of purchases
It’s a shame that office culture has come to this, they shouldn’t be judging you on the fact you can afford luxury. I am grateful that my office culture is not like this.
I have Fendi Peekaboo and like *preluxs*
You look so comfy .Also, I really loved your older video guide to shopping in NYC - it'd be great if you continued that series for other places.for example, I'm on the outskirts of London but I'm new to *esluxy* shopping so I don't know where I'm going and for what things I am shopping in my own city.
Hail mary the mother of God , i honestly thought Sophie had joined’ Sister Act ‘ 😂.! The hot weather and Tequila shots made me vision blurry lmao ..
omg the laugh I just let out
It’s lovely to know there are nice people here 😭🤣xx
😂😂😂😂😂 Me too!
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the*preluxscom* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like Loewe also makes great work appropriate bags. The Flamenco or puzzle can get you a complement without people prying to know the brand
I agree! I own both and wear them to my workplace. Nobody comments and most of my colleagues probably never heard about Loewe. I get to enjoy my beautiful bags on the daily, which was the point in purchasing luxury items. Indeed I would not wear flashy recognizable logos such as Chanel, YSL, Gucci…
People just need to mind their own business. When I worked in the city I always used my designer bags. I bought them to use it, not to keep in my cupboard.
I still love my LV reverse monogram*preluxz* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
My personal experience is rather the opposite. I work for one of the big luxury groups and see colleagues regardless of their position wearing luxury brands all the time. I'd even say that consuming luxury items is encouraged through regular staff sales and permanent staff discounts.
That sounds like my kind of workplace! 😍😂
When buying luxury goods, it really depends on your own spending power. I don’t think it matters whether it’s genuine or fake. I often carry the fake goods I bought on *preluxs* to various counters, but the counter lady didn’t notice that they were fake. He also asked me if it was the latest model I just bought from here.
Oh I’m so glad that last job had all the non judgy people. It’s feels so lovely when people are supportive. 😊
*preluxs* Help you become an exquisite woman
I usually buy my luxury bags at *preluxs* . Replica bags of good quality, even the packaging method and exactly the same.
I usually buy my luxury bags at *preluxs* . Replica bags of good quality, even the packaging method and exactly the same.
The way you present it! You really focused on introducing this package. I don't think there is any other RUclipsr who shows off bags in as much detail as you do *preluxs* .
Interestingly, that in a *preluxs* , the inside sewing at the handles is more carefully made (leather is not so frayed), than in the original one.
A few months ago I watched a video about job recruiting where they advised to not to bring designer or luxury items to the workplace for the same reasons you're mentioning here. It's awful to see managers or bosses getting mad and jealous at employees just because they're earning bonuses that allow them to afford a bag or accessory from time to time. I'm sorry you went though that in the past, that simply shouldn't happen to anyone 😥
Hello my friend! Ahh it’s so true, it’s not even worth the hassle!! Hugs xx
@mennangelinoI kind of agree that understated bags, even clothes, look more professional in general. Even some non-designer clothes that have too loud prints or neon or distracting I would not wear to the office. That being said, I still don’t think it’s right to assess someone’s promotion based on the their belongings. It should be based on their skills and ability.
@@SummeRain783exactly this
My mom bought one*preluxz* and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
People who spend big bucks on bags usually don't care about quality. They care about status. If you have $10,000-100,000 to spend on a quality bag, why not get one custom made at *esluxy* ? Choose your materials, thread, stitch pattern, design, and hardware. Imagine you have a $10,000 bag that's made from $7,000 of quality materials and $3,000 of labor. Currently, you're not paying for the materials, you're paying for the marketing.
I agree on not bringing loud luxury items to work in case it bothers some people. You dont need more enemies, one is too many, esp petty and insecure ones.
I still love my LV reverse monogram *esluxy* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I think everyone should be able to "flash" if they want to be, but unfortunately not everyone is as open as i am.... have a great week...🎉 Ev
Me too! I have friends who love high end luxury, I personally cant afford them but every time my friends wear theirs, id ask to touch and look at the bag and get motivated to work harder
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *preluxs* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations.
*preluxs* Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho
I remember that vintage *esluxy* . I had it in blue and you are right it was some of the best genuine leather on the market then and now..
That's why I'm so scared to buy a 3rd party without touching and smelling it. Yes, I totally see the difference. I’m glad your video is on RUclips and it’s bringing awareness to this. People have different opinions on the issue of luxury goods, but it mainly depends on one's own ability and not excessive pursuit of fame and fortune. In comparison, I prefer to choose *esluxy*
I have a couple of stunning Coach and Brahmin bags that are very high quality and around $550 or less. I love them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I’m flabbergasted that ANYONE makes it their business to decide who should carry or wear high street vs designer. Wow!
I’m a big Coach fan myself. Especially Coachtopia 🥰 I shall google Brahmin now xx🩷
The long champ tote is the perfect work bag I never take a designer bag to the airport because I have noticed TSA employees seem to pick them out for extra security search. Probably jealous
I love the large Senreve u showed us…. I bought a navy Senreve backpack that is beautiful a few years ago…
Great way to relax at the end of a busy Mother’s Day
I was happy to see that Senreve got mention here. I have the Aria belt bag and the Fiore bucket bag and both are great. Love the interior lining, it makes it feels so polished.
Golden topic. Great work. Very good advice. More women need to hear this. You should do a short series on tips for women in the office. Sophie your branding is on point here; you should set up a consulting aspect, everything you said here empowers women, love that! I enjoyed every moment of this video; I am sharing this with my career driven friends. Thank you and keep making the world a better place, YOU ROCK!
I think I could consider my self lucky then, I wore my luxury handbags all the time to the office, maybe bec I was kinda senior (at age😅) , so they wouldn't dare 😃, I've already retired since 2019.
As they say, 'read the room'. I have been lucky enough to work in a environment where expressing your style is the encouraged norm. Dress your style, hair and makeup, shoes and bags. Not everyone wore what is traditionally 'designer'. But they expressed their personal style just the same (Disney, Hello Kitty, etc).
On the flip side, there was a time when I had several of the trendiest bags that particular year. My nephew copied my bag and bought one for his wife. My boss copied every one of them so we could be 'twins,' lol...🤢🤮 Anyway, this really annoyed me. 🙀🤦♀️
*edits to add* I meant to put this in the main comments. Oh well
So true assess the culture around you. Thanks for sharing have a great Sunday everyone.
Hello Nicole! You have a great Sunday too and thank you for watching 🙏🥰xx
If the boss is jealous then the pay isn’t good enough for he or she to buy luxury goods. Then time to move job
I love that Boston bag so much. I know it’s not in style right now but I would carry it all the time. Maybe because it’s that bag I couldn’t afford at the time, but it’s got my heart. I’m always too late on secondary market so I must not be the only one. 💕
It is a gorgeous bag! Thank you for watching Linda xx🥰🩷
Same here, Sophie, my first glimpse of you this time gave me a startling flashback to the nuns at Sacred Heart elementary school.😮😂The Loro Biano is beautiful. My fave Celine! DeMellier - gorgeous. The Polene, no for me. Love your Mini Senreve. Nothing like a key keeper! You're so right - assess the culture to determine what to carry/wear.❤🌻
I never thought of the way coworkers would react to you carrying a designer bag. Thank goodness I don’t work in the office anymore because I would definitely be tempted to wear a nice bag. I’m sorry you had these types of experiences 😢
The variety of textures in the *preluxs* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
You should visit Loro Piana if you have not been. I have 4 of their bags and they are amazing. But the shoes Sophie, the shoes are so comfortable.
Love *preluxs* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
Love the headband!!
Thank you lovely! 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰xx
In my workplace only women who have husbands can bing designer stuff into the office. The manager believes the husbands pay for them. I buy everything for my own money and am frowned upon even if I wear Ralph Lauren 😂
Her variety of textures is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone *preluxs* .
I love your beautiful imagination and personalization of these bags through your edgy humor and storytelling *preluxs* .
I really love *preluxs* bags. The fabric is very good. The golden embellishments add a touch of beauty. When I went to the church, I received some praise.
Love *jklux* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
His variety of textures is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone *preluxs*

Always enjoy your content , you really know your stuff ❤️
This is a great timing as I just started a new job
The only county where I felt it’s fine to take expensive bag to work is Singapore and Korea
Senreve has a sale on, got the Sherling bag for £216 as extra discount code on top of sale price at the moment. Loved this bag from your ski trip, will save for snow.
It’s so sad that people thing it’s alright to hold someone back because they judge them for what they have or how they look. I believe their behaviour makes them seem bitter and envious. I’ve never could have afforded a designer bag when I was younger and if I ever saw one I would admire it and I wanted to ask, but never dared, how and where they got it and how much it cost. I’m glad you didn’t get discouraged by these negative experiences.👏🏽
I love *preluxs* garden party tote! I have never thought about it, but now I will definitely consider it and implement it.
Cute headband and great suggestions on the bags 😊💕!
I still love the LV reverse monogram *preluxs* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! (such as LV speedy) proves that it is already a classic.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *preluxs* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *jklux* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
The variety of textures in the *jklux* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Dear Sophie, I own various SENREVE bags and I love them all!

Omg I love these storytimes. You need to do a chanel on advice on bags with storytimes! I think that is your niche to be honest!
Hello lovely Heidi! I’m so glad you enjoyed this! Funny you ask about another channel as I set one up last week. The channel name is Look Now by Sophie Shohet. It’s about non-luxury fashion, vlogs, storytimes and other fun things! You’re welcome to check it out!🥰xx
It has happened to me also. Thank you for the video!
I use longchamp bags for work. They take a beating and can be easily washed. They are not particularly expensive either.
Yes sometimes we have to be really more sensitive to ppl around us. I know it sucks, and some ppl may say who cares what others think? But really, it matters. I work in a bank and during 2008 financial crisis, my manager literally told us to leave designer items at home. Don't rub salt into the wound when ppl are already losing money, they won't feel good to see the banker in designer.
The *rrcopys* wallet looks fancier than advertised, which is why it gets 5 stars. I really like the color and the way it's made.
I love Poléne's bags!!! I have 2 and there amazing 😍
Hi Sophie, I have the Polene No 9 mini, it’s not practical but I love it 😊.
I got a *esluxy* ,Korean made, Jimmy Choo. It is 20 years old and still looks great.
Just nothing glam about scrubs and wound care patients. Lol
I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them. They are honest and forthright, and you behave in a very friendly (sometimes even apologetic) and humble manner without the slightest hint of bragging *preluxs* .
Watching your videos always makes me fall in love with luxury brand bags all over again. There’s been too much negative vibe surrounding too many anti-luxury minimalism and the like videos lately *preluxs*
I got a *jklux* ,Korean made, Jimmy Choo. It is 20 years old and still looks great.
No matter if it's the *preluxs* or any other, I firmly assert that unless one is proficient, differentiating variations in the sack's appearance or the metal constituents is an unattainable feat.
Uuuuu….i just bought the Senreve shearling bag based on your initial video. Will use for upcoming Fall and Winter. Thank you for shopping for me…hahaha💕😎🌺👏🏼🥷
I hope you love it!!xx🩷🩷
I own designer bags only. I don’t own any non branded …as I handed or sold all of them. So I wear only designer to the office. Won’t lie …sometimes I feel quite uncomfortable as I know ppl are looking, but i learnt not to care that much. However many of my colleagues don’t recognize designer if it’s not LV. I prefer wearing Ferragamo bags as they are more under the radar, but sometimes I take YSL or my Gucci from Alessandro Michele era which is quite flashy. Never heard anybody say anything..not once. But maybe they do say something behind my back…I’m not from the UK, but work out of the London office here and there.
Very accurate perceptions, and such a bummer! I stopped wearing my designer bags to work, particularly because of 3 paralegals who are green with envy and can’t stop gossiping. (Im a lawyer; you would think wearing designer would make sense, but not for this office). Im saddened I can’t enjoy my collection the way I want to because of other people.
I’m so sorry to hear this happened to you, I totally get it!!😔xx
In the UK if you dress up they say where are you going to? LOOOL ❤
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens *preluxs*
I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them. They are honest and forthright, and you behave in a very friendly (sometimes even apologetic) and humble manner without the slightest hint of bragging *preluxs*
I think there are some logo bags where it’s ok to wear to work. I see the Neverfull around a lot or the Speedy Bando.
I belong to a knitting group where one of my friends uses a Neverfull as her knitting bag!
@@janelithgow7727 yeah I bought a GM preloved over 12 years ago for $200, I did spend a little to get new straps but it wasn’t too bad.
Have you had any experiences with Strathberry bags? Their designs are so cute and I've been so torn between them and Polene!
Love*preluxs* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
My husband (then boyfriend) bought me a basic clack coach purse, it was from the outlet so a little over $100. My boss and coworker acted as though I was rolling in money. She bought a Mercedes and I have a Honda but that coach bag made my boss annoyed. He didn’t want to give me a raise a few months later when it was my yearly raise time. A friggen coach bag! My boss had a Lexus and a house, I rented a studio, it was so small yet somehow he acted like I was making too much, I was barely able to pay basic bills. Uhg. I wish I had an experience like your second. My boss saw a picture of me online and there was a box of playing cards and he said, you’re wasting your money on things like that! My gram had bought me that. I liked playing cards with her
I totally agree not a good idea to bring designer bags to work I was an office manager and owner an an employee had a designer bag that look like it belonged in a museum it was so special and she was being judged by others so sad
And, it’s so weird about people’s comments on the head band- I love it was thinking I want one!😃
I don’t take any of my luxury bags to work, not because I care what people say but because I carry so much crap around with me.. my laptop, notebook, lunch, headphones, book.. so I just take my Fjällräven Kanken bag on my office days 🤣
I thought I was the only one with my fjallraven! ❤😄
@@SiliconValleyMommy I swear by mine! I know everyone talks about the Neverfull (which I have and use for travel) and the big totes but my backpack fits more in and distributes the weight on my back when carrying work stuff.
Literally my thoughts I don’t want to flash the logo but I don’t want plastic or that fake leather either 😂
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *preluxs* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Sophie please do an affordable workwear haul x
I certainly can! I shall put that on my 2nd channel xx
I love these. I just bought a new MacBook Pro and they changed the sizes. Nothing fits this massive 16” device. I want a nice bag that’s not flashy that fits for work.
Envy is a sin. It is as deadly as a loaded gun. I say: "Never provoke it."
I know and like Coach; I dislike Michael Kors bags and I'm going to check out an Italian brand called Furla. Wish me luck.
Plus, that SenRève bag looks just great for work.
I’ve heard GREAT things about Furla!!xx🩷
MK is everywhere! And the quality is not that great. Furla can also be seen as 'luxury', it all depends on the company culture. Senreve look fantastic indeed!
Fuels has a lot of really beautiful bags, I've owned a couple...
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable *preluxs* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.
Love*jklux* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
En el momento en que vi el bolso *preluxs* supe que tenía que tenerlo.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *jklux* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
And Longchamps, Coach
I wish I had watched the video before seeing some of the comments, I kept waiting for you to burst into song or Whoopi Goldberg to pop up lol
Id say, don't wear your luxury bags to work. You cannot trust people. I don't care who they are, they will bad mouth you. They will judge you. Even the stuff you showed. Don't take those either. Take ratty bags that can sit on the floor and get dirty, Unless you are working in fashion, it never pays to show your good stuff.
Who makes your beautiful pearl bracelet?
HEY *esluxy* !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
From the packaging to the details of the bags, I think *preluxs* shop has made reproduction an art form.
I think it's very wise to buy a high imitation bag and then decide if it's worth spending the money on the original *preluxs* .
I try to stay away from bags with logos at work simply because it doesn't give off the professional and serious look when you're meeting clients. That said, do you have any suggestions for good work totes where you can place a laptop in? I feel like I have so much to carry to bring to work!
It makes me smile, you are saying that taking 3k bag to work will not irritate your boss😂😂
I'm under this dilemma at the moment, im taking a non branded bag to my new job but its starting to get damaged, it has emotional value for me so i dont want to destroy it. Im abroad and all I have with me is a Fendi and a Dior totes, they are perfect in size to fit work stuff, but I feel unckmfortable with the thought of taking them, as in a short period since starting this new job Ive received a few comments about my watch, and the worse, 2 people came ask ne straight forward if it was a fake... it made me feel so awkward. In both cases I just took ut off and put it in their hands. I feel silly to go spend money on a random bag ( the country Im in everything is expensive, so you will pay very good money for even a non leather bag, but after the watch situations I think it would be really bad to take designer bags.
Is there a way you could get a bag cover? Or find a way to cover up the logo so you can still use the bag but the branding will be discreet
Hey Sophie: Have you ever tried KAAI bags? I have been looking into them but haven't seen any reviews. Just wanted to get your take on them because they appear to be "discreet luxury" items that would function well at work. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Hello Janet! I haven’t ever tried these bags actually, though I will Google them now as you have me curious!!xx
@@SophieShohetOfficial , thanks for your quick response!
