I love this collection simple because when the original collection was released I am not capable to acquire them. Marc Jacobs did set the bar high during his time and it isnt the same with Nicholas. The fact is that there isnt really a breakthrough with Nicholas. Can you imagine if your the current lead designer and people are crazier with the collection 20 years ago than your existing collection??? Thats a big kick in the gut!

I managed to order online in australia the peice I was after still pending at this point. The system was glitchy ended up with 3 orders accidentally due to glitches at payment. My overall feeling is that the hype, rumors, issues with stock, people only getting parts of the special packaging all takes away from it being a luxury experience. I persevered as I really wanted an SLG from this collection but in future may just wait it out and go instore one the hype has died down and enjoy the experience more. Can't wait to see what you got.

Murakami collection? More like Stock X collection.

I have only ever shopped online and have never set foot in store. At one point, an online sales advisor was assigned to me. We email back and forth, and she sends me the PDFs with upcoming releases, and allows me to order through email with her.

I spent hours on the US website trying to get through all the crashes, but I was finally able to order, and my item shows as shipped today 😊

I walked to my local store here on Maui three blocks away (I know, dangerous temptations so close) on launch day. They had got 30 pieces all but three gone at pre-order! What was left, not what I wanted, so I drove forty minutes to next store, same story. My SA there was able to place an order for me online as the remaining online items were fast disappearing. Supposed to be here tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath. It is the CarryAll in white. The 2003 collection ran for ten years, I believe, so I think we can relax. How could LV just stop producing something this popular before most customers had a chance? Well, maybe they could, but I think more likely they will want to continue raking in the money, and repairing their image. I should have told my SA to let me know when General pre-order opened, but my excitement was just simmering. By launch day, it was full boil lol.

I had a decent pre spend. I think it comes down to sa and their connections. I ordered after the date.

I got my 30 in black. My sa is amazing and i was so lucky.

In US, California I was able to order cardholder on launch day on LV app and the next day SA also gave me option for a few more items. All seem to be going thru 🙏🏻

I couldn’t order anything online despite many many attempts on different days and times. I went to my local store and they only had 2 small card cases and the shoes. They didn’t allow me to order anything from them via their system. I have a sales history with LV although it’s been years. This has been very disappointing and I know many who have experienced similar on various forums.

I did a pre-order from a large store and I was told two days ago that they hadn’t yet received all of their allocated items. I paid in full as soon as I got the look book and my SA advised me to just wait a bit. I am fine either way at this point but wanted to make sure that she knew that I totally understood that it’s not her fault. Wanted to relieve her of some stress and pressure. We all should consider doing that in this situation.

Why does everyone who makes these videos, talking about the Walmart dupe, have to make sure EVERYONE knows they have the real Hermes bag? At the end of the day it’s just a bag No big deal, I could care less what people do with their money.

I pre ordered my Murekami multi colour 30 speedy in black on Tuesday last week and l went to the Louis Vuitton store in Selfriges to pick it up today. Monday It's fabulous.!

In Paris today. Small queue on the Champs Élysée. I was able to see many items but almost nothing available. I am not a loyal customer but I was able to easily order the accessory pouch in black and the key pouch in black as well. In 2 or 3 months I will receive them and if I do not like these items Vuitton will refund me. Thank you for all your videos.

Im in CA and I was not able to get the nano speedy I pre ordered! Yes they refunded me before launch! I went in store on launch day and got serious fomo so I decided to purchase the carryall on a whim and I just ended up returning the bag because it is just not for me. I told them that if the speedy comes back in stock to lmk but I won’t settle for a bag that I did not want so I am disappointed by the launch but it is what it is.🤷‍♀️

I’m in the U.S. (Atlanta) and couldn’t order anything online. I went in store in 1/3 and they told me they didn’t have any Murakami. The CA tried to order for me on her end but it wouldn’t go through 😢

I was lucky enough to get the speedy 20 in the flowers which puts a smile on my face it’s just such a fun piece as I’m usually very conservative with my bags my style is very similar to Steph at handbagholic and the other piece I got was the black alma with the panda charm and small LV design in the corner both fun pieces I don’t know why but the multicoloured pieces never really got to me as lovely as they are I just don’t like them enough to buy them I do love the cherry blossom though I want a bag in that design anyway love all your friends on RUclips i follow them all you included 😂❤keep up the good work 🇬🇧🌹jx

I went to my store on launch day right when they opened to pick up my pre-order. My store didn’t receive any Murakami pieces to be on display therefore nothing was available to try on. On top that they didn’t receive any special packaging for the preordered pieces: no bags, ribbons, panda hangtags, tissue paper absolutely nothing…such a bummer😞. I was so excited to try on the pieces I wasn’t able to pre-order due to them being out of stock.

My favourite of all is the black speedy! And I’m going to throw it out there an say I think that’s what you’ve got as you mentioned it wasn’t as heavy - possibly referring to the og speedy was heavy because of the front pocket. I’m not in a position to buy one at the moment so I’m praying you have one so I can atleast see one an then maybe one day I will find one on the pre loved market 🥹😍 can’t wait for your next video!

I'm in Curitiba Brazil . Only one neverfull came to my store and it eas sold before I saw it. Sad. I never bought LV before. I got the brown flat characters bandeau. I may buy something from the 🌸 collection but my love is the 🍒. However i probably wont buy a cherry bag because it's too expensive for me. I love this collection and i wish I could buy so many items. The colors on the canvas are so bright in person! The shawl ... It has some minor defects in the colors. Like a minuscule part without color. Lots of items could be ordered and would take more than 3 weeks to arrive . They didn't have the collection box. The essay told me she would call me when they received the collection box. So I will have two boxes 😊

My CA knew my wishlist & she contacted me 12/28 & told me I needed to fill out the payment link in order to better secure my items but no guarantees. She was still unsure up till launch day when she was able to process both items. I was able to take home the speedy 25 but my Romy cardholder is still coming. I received no packaging though & I heard many stores in California did not receive them. As for in store stock, there were no slgs or bags left even for display. As for the collection itself, it’s absolutely stunning, if I had an unlimited budget I would have picked up more pieces for sure providing I can get them 😃Congrats on your pieces ❤

Managed to order the cles, the cardholder and pencil case all on line in the U.K. I think I must have been lucky from reading other comments! Not yet received any of them but have received confirmation emails and checked on the phone! Just made an appointment to take my old Murakami cles which I got preloved to the repair centre at the pop up that’s opening on Thursday! Can’t wait! Can’t wait to see your pieces.

I am normally on the quieter side of luxury and I normally don’t buy hyped or very popular items… but I can’t stop buying from this collection! Especially the white multicolor. I have got everything I wanted so far and it’s fun using them. Am waiting for two more items I ordered last week. My SA is amazing. I look forward to see what you got. I was promised a payment link from my CA last week for the Panda bag charm. I messaged my CA this morning, and I haven’t received a reply! Complete nightmare, and some of the goods are now for sale on EBay etc!😢

At first I was really going to buy a few items, as I don't have any of the OG Murakami, but I sat down and thought hard about it. Although I might still get an SLG, I have decided that to me this collection is really really overpriced for what it is. I think I have too many luxury bags as it is and I'd rather continue to invest in watches/jewelry. I look forward to seeing what you got though!

To my surprise I was able to walk into the NY boutique and pick up the Murakami Clemence ! I got lucky!

I picked up my pochette accessoires on Saturday, my SA told me I had to pick it up by Sunday evening otherwise they had to "release" the product and sell it in store starting Monday to whoever walked in. PS. As overhyped as it is, the pochette is absolutely adorable and I am grateful to have it! My SA is lovely and just the sweetest person.

Most likely a marketing strat about artificial shortages. But this is the one case where i think that a production mis-calc is also truly possible. Remember, the Murakami multicolore was vuitton's most technically difficult canvas ever by far. THIRTY-THREE silkscreens (versus the Pharell p9 which only had one, so imagine the screen registration difficulty), and this was back when LV did not outsource, so you could imagine how high the rejection rates are today.
