    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. Many things are not found and learnt through books but can be learnt with experiences or working with an experienced person or a team I would like to see videos with cockpit view- flight display in flight & commentary to understand and correlate how to do the task. It will be very helpful for newbies and those who are not so familiar with flight controls. Pictorial memory with audio has a great impact. This is absolutely my person opinion. Thank you once again

    Hello. Thank you for your tutorials. You are becoming famous in the flight sim community for bringing real world procedures for us. If I had to make a video request, it would be about dealing with unreliable airspeed indications and also how to increase accuracy when flying All manual (no A/T as well)
    Thank you

    Hahaha😂👍🏼 I love the additional comments from you like: “oh there is a big spider on the ceiling”..if it was me i would run away or stop the recording😂🤣..dont stop with the video’s because I still repeat watching them! I still have trouble with the flare..first I dont experience the speed as being too fast and secondly I cant estimate well the remaining height and sometimes I think I am already there but I am not..🥴 Im not sure whether you have tips for me? ( or my instructor?) Every time before my training I watch your video no.10..I understand extactly what you are doing but in the sim it goes very fast..but i keep practicing! well have a great day! And keep posting these great instructional videos!👍🏼😊

      Hello Inge,
      Thank you for your support and kind words.
      Regarding the flare what I suggest you do is to visualize it in your room, run different B737 videos showing landings get used to hearing the automatic callouts 50,40,30,20,10
      Visualize and move your hands like you are flying the airplane. Try it many times and see, let me know if that helps.
      Thank you for your encouragement, I will continue uploading the videos 😊.
      Feel free to ask about anything, I will be more than happy to help any way I can.

    Captain, this methode is different and give's a new nice perspective to receive your knowledge. Maybe it's a idea for you if you continuous this methode to also use a whiteboard. I assume it's easier for you to explanation some of the topics. With other words one picture tell's more as words can do. Capt ,I follow your videos and your approch and landing video was too good.Can you do a video ,when is convenient for you about how you maintain the aiming point, if you are doing a non precision approch and how you calculate your decend profile while doing circuit in simulators. I struggle doing circuits in sims,I cant make it out weather I am high or low on baseleg.

    If ATC tells you to cross a fix at a certain altitude.. i think you want to put that in the box. the FMC will compute the VNAV path to it. it will descend automatically at T/D. Earlier you were talking about when ATC tells you to descend now.. with no crossing restrictions... that you can recruise if outside 50.... re the new format.. i suggest a combination of the two... images are important...i also find your audio hard to understand.. maybe closer or better mic.

    • @AbdulmuatiAsiri37
      @AbdulmuatiAsiri37  5 лет назад

      Thanks S G,
      As far as putting the restriction in the box if you are within 50nm from the T/D, it is not practical and not in compliance with the FCOM at least the way I understood it.
      I don’t like to do an idle thrust decent for a cruise altitude change I believe it is not comfortable for the passengers.
      You can comply with ATC restriction without putting it in the box.
      I appreciate the feedback regarding the audio and the visuals.
      Thanks again
      Wish you all the best
      Abdul

    • @Bren39
      @Bren39 5 лет назад

      @@AbdulmuatiAsiri37 by "you can comply without putting in the box" do you mean manually v/s down? what if you get distracted and forget? the whole point of vnav is to make these step downs automated and easier. i agree thrust idle descent not the best for pax... but if you manually initiate the descent about 10 nm before the t/d..i find the transition is not as jarring. thank you.

    • @AbdulmuatiAsiri37
      @AbdulmuatiAsiri37  5 лет назад

      Hello S G,
      Thanks for the reply, you can leave the airplane in VNAV and initiate Dec Now. That if you start the decent early enough, I am leaning towards either V/S or VNAV DEC NOW in a case like this.
      If you think the workload is high then I absolutely agree use the automation.
      The 10nm prior to T/D is a very good technique if you are starting a continuous decent, that is a normal decent to the approach and not enroute level change.
      But for a level change the airplane will go from idle thrust to 60-70%N1 when it level at the new altitude. Bleed change from high to low the noise are all factors that may not be comfortable for worry passengers.
      Love the discussion and really appreciate your point of view.
      Abdul
