- Before the next few chapter's of Deltarune come out, I wanted to discuss the possible locations of the next Dark Worlds. If you have any Deltarune theories you'd like me to look into please leave them in the comments.

I believe Hometown will turn into a huge dark world at some point with us making our way to seal the grand fountain in Castle Town (or something along the lines).
That's a very popular theory, and for a very good reason. I should have mentioned it.
And then you go into the bunker, now that'd be cool.
I feel like we won’t seal the castle town dark fountain
Because there’s got to be balance between light and dark
(Which brings the question… if too much dark brings the roaring… what happens if there’s too much light?)
i think the final dark world will be layered dark, a dark world in castle town
yeah that'd make sense as to why ralsei wants to stop berdly from making a dark world at the end of chapter 2, since they're already IN one. which would result in like dark-fountain-ception

I dont think there are premade dark fountains anywhere in Deltarune, the way Ralsei makes it seem at the end of Chapter 2, only 2 dark fountains can exist at once, the 3rd one causing the roaring. Ralsei says Berdley will cause the roaring if he opens a dark fountain in the cyber world, so it could also be opening a dark fountain IN a dark world that brings the roaring, but I think it's just 3 dark fountains being open at once.
I'm just adding something to Chapter four being the church: You can find concrete evidence that chapter two is a Friday because if you find Alphys by the police station at the end of Ch.2, she'd mention that it's not school the next day, which was something I originally found interesting before I knew about the chess theory and the bishop, because it would mean that in Chapter five, we'd probably have to either answer to our actions in snowgrave route or confront a Berdly who's seen what we've done
Kind of funny how you stated that one of the candidates for chapter 4's dark world being the Holiday house cause that was my original theory. I originally thought that Noelle's blog posts were *secretly* chapter 4 teasers and that they contained the locations and themes of chapter 4's dark world like the ice palace for example.
I then switched over to it taking place in the church due to a Spamton line somewhat hinting at that and the fact that religion is a strong theme in Deltarune.
It makes sense as Toby has a knight, King, Queen. Those three are part of a chess board. A bishop is related to religion
6:24 wow! i’ve never seen someone else have this same theory as me. i always thought the vessel would come back and maybe we could play as the vessel, and kris could have their body back, as a happy ending or sorts to flip around the message “your choices don’t matter” that is being pushed suspiciously a lot

Kris:
- Stabs ground to create Dark Fountain
- Goes alone somewhere in the previous night
- Slashes tires and opens the door to let other lighters fall into Dark World
- Turns on TV to make sure the Tv characters participate in their plans
- Is confirmed to posses determination as a Lightner and unclear powers thanks to the soul.

Character placement doesn't matter 1 bit as in ch1 we enter the closet whit Susie and end up in the next room at the end of the chapter.
At the time of making this video I was very against Kris being the Knight, but recently I believe it makes a lot more sense given the information we have, I wish the community was not so against the idea as the story could take it in very interesting directions.
if kris is the knight, then there must be multiple because queen and the spade king do not recognize kris as the knight
also basically anyone can be a knight, berdly almost opened a dark fountain, noelle could’ve, and kris has, so why not have multiple knights
i personally think asgore is the most likely knight but idk

because if a isnt true, then it just isnt possible due to how spade king, queen, jevil, and i think spamton describe the knight
@@salemmarz3809 Those are both the same answer though, saying Kris is one of multiple knights is the same as saying Kris isn't the Knight since they still wouldn't be the Knight who opened the first two fountains.
And while darkners know of the knight and their actions, they likely never met the knight and would be unable to identify them. Queen likely never met the knight, as she stated she was guessing based off of their actions. If Queen never met the knight, the case is likely the same for Spade King and every other darkner. If a darkner did know what the Knight looked like, then they would have warned everybody, especially Queen who now knows that the knight could end the world through the roaring.

Look dude I know this has a 99.999% of being not real but didn’t you see at the LAST FRAME when the darkness is about to cover the entire screen, kris holds up the soul… but we don’t see it entering Kris’s body… now I know this might be crazy but when you see the presentation in queens mansion about the dark fountain, it could kinda be called a tornado, so maybe… Kris didn’t put the soul back and it got sucked into the dark world?
I really like this idea! While I don't think it's true for Chapter 3 based of a lot of what we have been seen, I could see this happening in a future chapter. Maybe when we inevitably loose control of Kris.
The fact Asriel phone is broken and no body but Kris can contact him is suspicious especially when you consider how Kris is researching magic js man may not be coming home from college
Asriel is one of the biggest mysteries in Deltarune, I really hope we get more information about him in future chapters.

If the world of Deltarune still has W.D. Gaster alive and well, but Undertale Gaster is shattered across time and space, could Deltarune have one and a half Gasters?
I think every dark world is based on escapism and entertainment. Chapter 3: tv game shows and stuff, chapter 4: books and high fantasy, chapter 5: music? if it’s the hospital since the piano, chapter 6: shot in the dark but maybe dnd with papyrus or video games (probably without papyrus), chapter 7: the festival
I predict the house, the church, Asgore's Flower Shop, and ICE-E's Pizza
I think that we may get a Dark World in The Mayor's office. With maybe one of the mayor's objects as the main antagonist.
True but there's very little objects or creative potential for Darkners
1:15-1:26 I would like to point something out that nobody has mentioned. Alphys points out that that there is no school on the day of chapter three. Kris, Susie, and the rest of their class seem to be middle schoolers or high schoolers so odds are they know what a weekeend is. Why would Alphys point out that there is no school on a weekend day? Becuase chapter three is set on a Wednesday. Chapter 1 was a monday, chapter 2 was a tuesday, and chapter three will be a wendsday where school is cancelled for some reason. You see, while church is normally held on Sunday, some people go to church on Wednesday. This lines up with Rudy mentioning going to church the following day, why there is no school, and why the dark world of chapter 4 would be set in the church.

That would be a good place for a Dark World! I didn't even think about that. I think it's unlikely but not impossible.
I would like to bring up an alternative to chapter 4's Dark Fountain.
I believe it's possible Chapter 4 won't have a Dark Fountain since
1. All leaked Chapter 4 images are in Hometown and Castle Town, as well as 2 new tracks of Hometown and Castle Town at Day, which implies Chapter 3 will take up all of Night and Chapter 4 will start in day.
2. Using 1. as evidence, it seems like Chapter 3 will be an all Dark world Chapter, so why not follow it up by an Light world chapter.
3. The Festival is supposed to be starting tomorrow, ut seems like The Festival will be a really important light world location and a long segment, and i doubt Toby wouldn't let us see most of it because a dark fountain.
(Also Mettaton's and Onionsan's diolauge in Chapter 2 seem to indicate some sort of quest starting, which might indicate maybe more light world stuff)
I know sounds like it wouldn't work too well gameplay wise so i'll also try to explain how i believe it will work in a gameplay situation. (speculation)
>Story : As you mentioned Noelle is a very important character, and future chapters will definitely explore her character more, and i believ The Festival is a perfect place to continue Noelle's character, as it's run by The Mayor, who is likely Noelle's Mom, it would be a pretty good place for us to meet Noelle's mom and see more of Noelle's character.
>Battles : I believe it could take place in The Light World in a more Undertale like system, or maybe we explore more Castle Town and Battles happen ðere? alternitively, no/minimal battles could happen.
>Secret Boss : ShadowCrystal's probably would happen in Castle town, but to be more speculitive, we know ShadowCrystals exist in Light worlds as Glass and armor and Weapons also exist (shown by Kris's weapon changing to different pencils depending on what you have), maybe a Secret Boss could be a lightner, and ðat lightner will give us ðe special Armor/Weapon and some Glass, as whoever made Jevil and Spamton could very well exist in The Light World. Definitely a stretch but i believe it's possible.
>Party Members : Could be Noelle again like you mentioned, however i believe it's possible someone else could be your partner, however to bring up a different option i will speculate about someone else being your partner since i believe it'd be more interesting if Noelle wasn't repeated twice
So i will say Catti will probably show up at some point not just because it's not Noelle, but because Chapter 2 mostly centers around Noelle and her family hence why Noelle is your partner, and Chapter 3 will definitely be about Kris and ðeir family hence Toriel probably being your partner, it would make sense for Chapter 4 to be someone more Neutral, and Catti is shown to be close to Kris and Noelle, not sure how interesting Catti would be as a partner. (also considering it would be imagine how a Catti weird route would be pulled off, especially in a light world.
>Extra Areas : I know I said it could be an all light world chapter but i believe it would also include Castle Town since The Festival is probably not enough content for a whole Chapter, but too much for a opening part before heading into a massive new dark world, So i believe it could be 1 part is Hometown, 1 part is The Festival, and 1 part is Castle Town. in a random order.
Possibly even 1 part is a very tiny dark world, and removes one of ðe parts here, as The Knight doesn't stop existing just because you have stuff outside of Fountains (I know i mentioned Chapter 4 not having a dark fountain, but i mostly said such so i could say Chapter 4 has lots of Hometown/Castle Town content which would completely change where a Dark Fountain could take place. however based on what i said i can't say where exactly a fountain would take place, following Chess Theory it would still be The Church, but Noelle and her Family probably wouldn't be a part of ðat fountain because of The Festival)

But who are the kings and queens on both sides? I do not know, maybe some smarter people can figure that out.
I think figuring out who the pieces are on the opposite side of the board will be easy, as well as the pawns on our own side, but I wonder who's the King, Queen, Bishop, etc. on our side of the board?
@@calamarichaos I'd assume it would be the party members. Like ralsei and Noelle are our bishops, our soul is the king, and Susie is the queen.

i’d argue the bunker is another location for dess, but thats heavily based in my personal theory about dess
and i dont think the susie kris thing is entirely plausible due to susie interfering with player decisions (deciding to go with ralsei instead of kris without giving the player a choice to, saying something along the lines of ‘why does kris always get to decide?’)
and imo kris creating a dark world is a call for either help or attention (wanting to PROVE to undyne that they truly do exist)

Makes me wonder about the knight thing and making fountains i wonder if its like adventure time where magic is fueled by if you think the world is a game and dreaming or imagination and by madness and sadness. Makes me wonder if its similar with the fountains and stuff but there could be a side effect when they use it more maybe

I've always thought about the Church being Chapter 7 because there's been many religious hints and I thought that it made sense to be the final chapter. It's either the Church or the Bunker for me.

I could see the Church being Chapter 7. I think it's easy to pinpoint where a Dark World will be, but very difficult to say which chapter it will be in.
@@theconversationalelitist6423 yeah I've always had that idea and I've had the idea of the Light World and Dark World combining.
We could probably see something like that at the ending. You'd get to talk to Lightners and Darkners by finding them like how the two current chapters play out. If they don't combine for an ending, I could see obviously returning to the Castle Town and talking to all Darkners there instead.
If I had to guess, Lightners and Darkners will still have to live separately but I think they will all meet in Chapter 7

No, that turtle is named Gerson. However, Gerson is dead in Deltarune.
I just want to mention that Alphys mentions that there will be no school in one of her dialogues and Rudy tells Noelle that he's planning on going to church TOMORROW in the epilogue of chapter 2
I forgot about Rudy's dialogue, maybe we will get a Light world section in Chapter 3 where we can see him.

I think it’s a distinct possibility for chapters 3 and 4 being the same day
Evidence 1: Rudy says he might be able to go to church *tomorrow* implying church takes place on Saturday, which is also when chapter 3 takes place
Evidence 2: in the 2022 status update Hometown Day’s subtitle is “after the long night, the sun shines brightly” and the names of all those pictures is Ch4, meaning they are all from chapter 4,
But hey that just a theory, A GAME- *gets assassinated*

Because as u can remember Alphys said that there is no school tomorrow on a day there was school. So obviously Ch. 2 was on Friday and Ch. 3 could be Saturday. Now about Rudy's dialogue there are some places where u go to Church on Saturday. It's possible this is a place where u go to Church on Saturday AND Sunday. That also makes a possibility that in Ch. 3 Noelle will be absent while we're in the Dark World in our house and in Ch. 4 when we possibly go to Church again then we will go in a dark world in the church. Or it's possible that Toby wanted us to think Kris made a dark world in the house but they didn't. So it's possible the knight actually DID make a dark world overnight in the Church and we will go there in Ch. 3. But anyway back to my Asriel comeback theory. I think so because they said he'd be here next week right? Well next week would start in some places at Monday. So on Monday is where Asriel will return. Or if they said 7 days then u should just ignore this theory and he will be back on Ch. 7 or something.
While the idea of Asriel returning at the START of next week makes a lot of sense, II think the way the game words it implies that he will be back in one week from Chapter 1. Not a bad idea though. I could see it happening.

That's a really good point! We'll just have to see what chapter we go back to school whenever the next chapters come out.
Imagine if Chapter 6 is Asriel's University and the final boss of the chapter is a dark world version of Flowey.
Chapter 7 will be M.T. Ebbot, the place where Undertale began. This is where the angel will reside, and in it's dying breaths, controls Kris to bring out the roaring. The fun gang manages to beat the titans with the cost of Kris sacrificing themselves to save the world. The post credits scene reveals them to be none other than Frisk. Or in another interpretation would have Kris transported to the Undertale universe and comes face to face with Frisk.

That would be fun. Chapter 3 will most likely be TV themed so we might see something like that happen.
There's also a possibility that one of the chapters will take place in the school closet, I don't know how to support this theory, but it can happen for sure
