Your whole theory of Dess creating a “darker” fountain reminds me of how Ralsei mentions that the fountain in Castle Town is made of “Pure Darkness” and that this Pure Darkness is the reason why all darkners can live in Castle Town. if your theory is true, then I would wager that Dess created the fountain in Castle Town. This could also explain why Ralsei is called the Dark World Prince because the original ruler/Queen of Castle Town is Dess.

What if... What if a fountain of pure darkness is created where an already existing fountain resided before?
After all, if we go with the Dragon Blazers theory, in the first one the Girl falls into darkness after losing the Boy, and if we presume that the Dark Fountain in the school was the first ever created in Hometown (or maybe the second one, and the first was that which gave life to Oberon) then it makes sense that after Asriel died, she tried to go "deeper" into the dark world trying to bring him back not only in the only place she had easy access to, but also where Asriel died.
Ralsei is in Castle Town and the pink door with the winged heart is too after all... And would also explain why Ralsei stopped Berdly right before the Cyber world fountain. Yes, the Roaring, because he knows that it can happen when too much darkness is released, and there can only be one fountain of Pure darkness because otherwise the Titans will awake (coincidently, what's on the left of castle town? What are those cliffs made of??) but also, because he could've disappear right there and then like Dess

@@tawagoto_lol by that i mean that they have the same eye pattern of the Titans, and maybe the Cliffs are the firts clue towards the "where would they emerge from" if the Roaring happens. My guess is (going by Jaru's interpretation of the maps of Deltarune, and that we might be skipping several "zones" both in Hometown and the Dark Worlds between transitions from room to room) that they would emerge in the space between the scool and the "librarby" IF the Howling Cliffs are the original Titans Graveyard...

I think the line that "The Mage has left the party" in DB3 is foreshadowing of Toriel's role in chapter 3.
In chapter 2, our mage Ralsei was separated from Kris by Susie, but then we got another mage in Noelle. So I think in the next chapters, our future guest party members are going to be mage/fighter duos: Toriel/Undyne and, if the theories are correct, Cattie/Jockington.
In chapter 3, Toriel is going to be our mage, and like in Undertale she's going to have Fireshock in contrast to Noelle's Iceshock. But Toriel's going to be separated from the group, and then Ralsei will join in that moment.
Because my theory is that, just like Ralsei took some time to get to the Cyber World, he's gonna take time to reach the dark world in the Dreemur house. Think about it, Ralsei took a few minutes to reach Cyber World, an amount of time directly proporsional to getting from the school to the librarby. But getting from the school to Kris' house takes longer, maybe we're going to spent half of chapter 3 with Toriel as our mage, but she's going to be captured, and then Ralsei finally arrives.
And besides, imagine how awkward it would be to have Ralsei and Toriel meet, when he looks so much like a Dreemur, more specifically Asriel. And add the awkwardness of Toriel most definetely trying to take the leadership while Ralsei will insist Kris is the party leader. It would be a clash between them, so it's better that Ralsei joins in when Toriel is out the picture

Based off of this I have crafted a new and much less relevant theory
Due to the Dark World being opened up at night, Ralsei will sense it while he’s asleep. Meaning he could very well show up on the adventure in his pajamas.
This also means that Ralsei could be in a different outfit each adventure, based on the situation

a detail about the deltarune bow that makes the connection to Skies Forever Blue stronger, in case people thought that was a stretch: the girl's sprite shows the bow being both pink and white, and in Deltarune, if you take the Pink bow and White bow to that mender hammer character, you get the Twin Bow, which Noelle says is nostalgic. it's a pink and white bow, just like the girl's sprite

I can't believe the answer to gaster's experiment was so obvious. The experiment was "what if it could get darker than dark?" And he kept going further into the dark world inception until there was nothing but darkness left.

I'm not sure that I'm remembering this wrong but didn't the world in Skies Forever Blue get more and more corrupted as the Girl tried harder and harder to tell her feelings to the point that the world crumpled, plus in the end didn't she get to confess her love to then cut to the title screen being quite glitched and her repeating a line from the song emplying she herself somehow got reset back?
The implication this has may be even more connected to Deltarunes theme of "Your choices don't matter" ,the Weird Route could even be this exact same thing where you slowly start corrupting the world itself by taking unconventional, out of the way actions to the point that the world might still reset but not by the conventional way it was meant to reset.
Dunno, maybe Jaru's crazyness is starting to rot my brain way too much to the point that I start creating insane theories and predictions.

Personally I think Dess is the knight. She isn’t opening the fountains for a malicious reason, but in order as a cry for help. She’s trapped likely in a space between the dark and the light, and because of this she can only exist in tiny bits of each. Like I feel for the real world she can only exist in dark areas which is why every fountain, not made by Kris, had atleast one dark space for her to exist in. Though I feel she’s unable to fully exist in the dark world and only exists either as a shillouette or misshapen being. I know what someone might say “what about the King meeting her?” Personally I feel the King likely might’ve only seen her form that could exist in the dark world and then combined with his personal hatred for the lightners probably used meeting Dess as an excuse to overtake the other kings and become what he wanted. I mean the other kings don’t seem strong so I doubt the Spade King needed outside help. I’m willing to bet due to being in the code she’s so unstable she can’t really exist in either realm for long, and also gives Gaster, who’d have MUCH more experience in the code, an in to share his truth with Jevil and Spamton.

@@Plumpus3545 well yeah that’s why I assumed that maybe he just used the Knight as an excuse to do shit to go against the lightners. Even if Dess didn’t talk to him and only slightly appeared in the world he used that event to justify his decisions. Think like how old kings used bits of the Bible to justify crusades
Dess being the Knight also explains why the Queen was so interested in Noelle: who... would resemble Dess.

If I remember correctly, scratching noises can be heard from inside her house. And it's very dark inside, also there's eyes in her windows
Other than that, Bratty has a few dialogs about Asriel (Dreemmurs are very religious people, so they went to church every day after Azzy kissed Bratty, yada yada), and about "you kids". I think it was implied that she was talking about Kris&Noelle, but maybe that were Kris, Monster Kid, Snowdrake and others
Either way, Bratty acts weirdly sinister, both in Deltarune and Undertale. I think she could have even influenced Catty's bad behavior in UT, because DR Catty hadn't said or did a single bad thing, she was too nice to everybody

Edit: Wait, so Dess opened a dark world in a dark world causing the roaring, the timeline reset, then Kris gained save/load ability? How does everyone remember Dess existing and have memories of her if she got lost in the previous timeloop?

I agree with you, this theory, that I'm not gonna even listen to it due to how much the subject of this theory is just grasping at straws with no solid proof, judging by the comments, yeah, this theory is invalid. If the timeline reset erased Dess from the timeline, that can't be true, because Noelle still remembers Dess. If she truly was erased from the timeline, Noelle wouldn''t remember her. Here's an example to get across my point: In the end of the anime Madoka Magika, Madoka effectively both exists and at the same time, does not exist in the timeline anymore due to her wish in the final episode to undo witches from the timeline by her own hands. Because of that, although she has some influence on the timeline to undo the witches existing, nobody but the one girl who did several resets prior to the first episide with her power to find a way to avoid Madoka's death or witch transformation, remembers her at all. Not even Madoka's own mom remembers her due to Madoka not existing in the current timeline. If in Deltarune, that Dess erased herself from the timeline when resetting, Dess shouldn't be remembered by Noelle, since she no longer exists. Furthermore, we should not use the factor of the "Save Ability" from Undertale and use it on Deltarune for a theory. Since Determination technically, does not exist in the same way in Deltarune as in Undertale. And, the fact monsters are implied that they CAN bleed in Deltarune, when in Undertale, monsters cannot while humans can, makes this entirely theory full of plotholes. Undertale must not be used as priority for data to make a Deltarune theory, allot of things are different between the two universes Toby has created. This is some Matpat-style bad theory-making. Seriously, I feel the theories made by JaruJaruJ are not well crafted lately. From what I've seen of his theories, and the comments section here, this video is not worth me watching it. I mean no attacking of offense towards JaruJaruJ, I'm just stating my thoughts on the lack of solid evidence and unnecessary excessive use of dark themes in theories. As a person who loves lore, and has a strong sense of thought of logic, I simply cannot watch this theory video, and cannot praise it. Again, the dark-themed theories coming from this channel, just gives me the "Matpat Gametheory" vibes of bad theory making. Cherry-picking details to supporting the claims in theory making, while ignoring the solid evidence that makes the theory fall apart, and excessive use of dark themes to give the theory more "edge", yeah, that's something Matpat would do. That bad theory creating style is why I have not been watching any of Matpat's videos at all for a very very long time. And I fear this channel is treding on the same wrong path that downspirals into bad effort theory making. I don't hate Jaru, but these theories are going on the same dark path Matpat started to fall down ever since his infamous theory video of "Sans is Ness" Undertale theory (that has aged pretty poorly, now that we know what the "Don't Forget" thing in the secret room is, that Sans has in Undertale) that divided many people off from respecting the guy, and has not learned from since. People can like the theories from Jaru as of late, I'm just not seeing proper logic to hold up these theories lately. I won't attack others for liking stuff I don't, I'm not selfish like that. This is not an attack on Jaru, this is me expressing what I see wrong with these theories, and my own opinions. I really don't want him to fall down the same dark path Matpat has fallen to. And fyi, if anybody is replying to this comment with nasty comments in the very near future, do not bother, I ignore most negative replies to my comments
The idea is as follows:
- In the original Deltarune timeline, Dess discovers her powers and makes a save.
- Something terrible happens, and she reloads the save to try to prevent it. (From here everything that happened BEFORE the save still happened, but everything that happened AFTER it did not.)
- She tries to prevent the tragedy, but it happens again, so she reloads again. Repeat ad naseum.
- Eventually, she gets the idea to make a dark fountain within a dark world.
- She falls into the code and loses her reset abilities. At this point, no more resets occur until Kris becomes determined enough. *This is the current timeline that we play through in game, where Dess mysteriously disappeared.*
- No one but Dess remembers all the timelines she reset over.
Think about Flowey’s or Frisk’s resets. They don’t restart the ENTIRE UNIVERSE back to the Big Bang; Asriel always dies, no matter how many times Flowey reset, and Frisk always falls underground. The timeline is (typically, there are exceptions) only reset to the last save point, and characters still remember what happened BEFORE that save point.
Edit: The Angel’s reset, in Jaru’s theories, can do whatever Toby needs from a narrative perspective to get the game back to the beginning of chapter one. MAYBE it puts the universe back several hundred years to when the Angel first came into being, and everything plays out the exact same, including Dess’s resets, until it gets to chapter one, because the characters have had their memories wiped and thus would act the same way. MAYBE the Angel has the power to literally send the universe back to the Big Bang and ensure everything plays out exactly the same way until chapter one. MAYBE the Angel has a “save” it can load right before chapter one, and that’s what it’s going to do. Regardless, all the history mentioned in Deltarune from before we play, including the deaths of Alvin and the Non-Amalgamates, Asgore becoming police chief and getting fired, and all the adventures Kris, Azzy, Noelle, and Dess went on (including the ones only Dess remembers because she reset over them), still happens. Then a player gets thrown into the mix and we can change stuff.
Before the hate comments get here, I would like to say that you are an amazing theorist who deserves all the positivity in the world.

Kris, in the dark world, is BLUE. There's already a theory that Dess and Kris explored somewhere (Likely the Shelter), and became trapped in a Dark World, leading to Kris's trauma and Dess disappearing.
Could it be Boy is representing Kris, and Girl as Dess. While not romantic love, but a more familial love, that the tragedy was Kris being killed or seriously hurt while in the Dark World, and Dess broke the dark world trying to save Kris? She succeeded, but fell deep within the cracks of reality.

You know you misrepresented the plot of the video somewhat, right? The girl in skies forever blue DOES ultimately archieve her goal, even though the battery runs dry and the world hollowed out of it's memories.
My reading of the story was that she failed to successfully achieve her happily ever after. It's available to watch on RUclips so it's not like I'm trying to trick anybody. xP
You know, when I watched Skies Forever Blue, I was pretty excited that Toby was doing original non-Undertale/Deltarune stuff. Part of me is a bit disappointed that it ended up being part of the canons, but another part of me is excited by new Deltarune stuff. This is probably one of the only times I've really felt this way and I think that made me realize how much I want Toby to do some one-off songs/stories.
Also, you should have done a Game Theory intro for that title.

One line I think is overlooked is "feelings flowing out across the screen until the battery runs dry" this not only proves that she is aware that she is in a game, but I believe that she isn't referring to the console battery but the battery that keeps the save intact (yes that was a thing with old cartridge games) and that is why the save is wiped at the end of the video and why her voice went back to what it was at the beginning. I don't nesserly think that when she falls into the darkness it represents going into the dark world, it could represent that that version of her is gone, or at least her memories are
The thing is, “Skies Forever Blue” had a happy ending, I would say, with the girl using the weird reset thing she does as a chance to go through the journey the way she always wanted and finally finish her final line.
If you took the whole thing as foreshadowing for Deltarune, that would actually bode well for the future.
(EDIT: I forgot about the credits-scene-thing, which does line up a bit better with your idea, I admit.)
That said, though, please do keep making these. I *sincerely* disagree with the majority of your conclusions, but it’s fun, nevertheless. C’ya next theory.

My best guesses are that Toby is:
A) Terrified that I'm predicting his entire game.
B) Grateful that I'm misleading the community and distracting them from the true plot.

In the end of Skies forever blue, the girl, after making MAJOR changes in the story via glitches, finally gets a happy ending.
What if we will also have to do that in deltarune? Like, after beating the 7th chapter, you have to play from the first one agian but this time mess with the code as well (on the save file you beat ch7)

god, the implication that Dess is speaking through Spamton (using him as a puppet) and he seems to be entirely aware that she's trying to contact Kris... it just hits good, but what does that imply about him... could he have been purposefully turned into a puppet because it's the only way for someone like dess or gaster to communicate with and affect the dark world?

Queen implies that if someone were to create a dark fountain while already inside a Dark World it'd just expand the Dark World they're in, not create a "Darker World" ("Unfortunately the world they created is trapped within the confines of the library, if only we had a way to make more darkness we might be able to cover the whole world...")
Yeah, and Queen didn't know anything about what happens when you create Dark Fountains until very recently, and she admits that she didn't know about the Roaring. So she's a pretty poor source for Dark Fountain info. xD
I mean, both of these could still be true. As seen by one of the top comments (Made by tepig28), it could be that Dess made the dark fountain on Castle Town.
It might work in a way where it's possible to make a double dark fountain, but in consequence the person to do it will be locked inside whatever place Dess is in.

Cool, someone besides me who sees what's wrong with this theory. Good theory-making relies not only on favorable evidence to support the theory, but you must also take into account what clashes with your theory. As, with ignoring what makes your theory invalid while only taking favorable evidence, you're opening several plotholes in your theory. Like, as an analogy: Say you took a test in school. And you answered a few questions correctly, but ignored several questions on the sheet of your test. By doing so, you're opening clear points of your schoolwork, that harms your grades of that test, the teacher won't just take your work and ignore the questions in the schoolwork and only take into account what questions you answered and answered correctly. The teacher would get in trouble for not docking your grade for skipping questions on the sheet you didn't want to answer and treating it as if it was a perfect A grade when you only made the effort to correctly answer a few of the questions on the sheet

Interestingly, in my opinion at least, Noelle only mentions the mage leaving the party if you aren't in the "Weird Route". In the Weird/Snowgrave Route, the mage isn't mentioned at all. I find it curious.

I'm feeling absolutely horrendous as I am out of my main medication for various disabilities including chronic pain so these RUclips videos are the only thing distracting me from the agony😂 Also, I actually liked your story of how asriel potentially died as you had already convinced me that it's a possibility and then that story on top is an example of how it could realistically play out which gave me the feeling of playing through it myself and is also a fun demonstration of how it could actually work irl. I view all theories with healthy scepticism as they're a fun way to spend the time between chapters but it can ruin the enjoyment of what's there if you're determined that something will happen. At this point, there are so many possibilities for how the story will play out that being "correct" isn't important, what is is using what we do know to engage with what's there on a much deeper level and gain more appreciation for what creators provide for us. It reminds me of engaging with English literature. Like, the original author may have not even thought to make the curtains blue to symbolise the sadness of a character but our engagement with it brings new meaning for us which is a beautiful part of interacting with media that is very distinctly human.

I like this theory, since it'd create a parallel connection to Dess and Gaster, both being people who experimented with darkness to solve a crisis. (The Core, Castle Town.)
presuming your theory is correct, it'd also explain why you can save/load in the underground with the most determination yet for some reason the rest of the world's a non factor into who gets control over the power: Entry 17 implies the creation of a dark fountain for the purpose of experimentation. And if not, then I have to ask the question: How does Flowey have control over the file whatsoever when there is a human scaling the mountain exterior about a week's away from reaching the underground with more Determination than them? Why couldn't Chara or Asriel load the file when they realized the plan went wrong? If something's causing it to be proximity based, then it sure as hell can't be the barrier triggering the file inside since that still raises the question of Chara/Asriel's fusion since they did happen to die within the barrier at the last second.
Problem with the theory: If Dess was trying to solve for a method to stop the Angel from resetting everything, how come she isn't dragged back out whenever the Angel does reset? It'd imply the point is much earlier on the timeline if Dess had the knowledge of the Angel's existence. Does being trapped in a pure dark fountain result in your complete and utter removal from the timeline, explaining Gaster's disappearance when he falls into the Core which is presumably being powered on a Dark Fountain as evidenced by the Dark Pillar sprite names and Entry 17's existence?
The only logical conclusion is if the theories you have been proposing is true, Gaster must've existed at some point AFTER Chara and Asriel died, and that he did something involving Dark Fountains which resulted in the creation of the save points, and the barrier was keeping the dark world trapped so that when it was destroyed it could spread and allow for a much more grand scale of a reset.
Yknow, even if every single theory you've done is disproven in time, the sheer potential of the narrative you've made is enough to warrant some praise. I can imagine that an AU called Jaru!Deltarune would be made just to fulfill it.

One thing I find interesting about this theory is that you didn't mention how 'Skies Forever Blue' ends, with the Girl getting her happy ending before the world ends. It's just fascinating that there is so much evidence there to help or deny the theory and yet you never brought it up.
If I was to use the events at the end of the song for the theory I would say that it hints towards there being a way to save Dess, a way which involves breaking down the game in a way such as the 'Weird Route' where at the end we manage to get Dess her happy ending.
Only for it to be ripped away as the world is reset once more, and she is trapped again in the darkness.
I believe that whilst the world may be doomed to reset, there will be a way to get some form of bittersweet ending, Toby will be able to pull on our heartstrings even more if we can save everyone, only for it all to be reset with the wonderful tune of 'Don't forget'
I just read the ending as a bittersweet "She says it, but it doesn't matter, and everything gets reset," sort of thing. I didn't think it contradicted anything about the gist of the narrative I portrayed.

I think Noel searching for the glitchy door in the ice palace could hint at a bit more. Assuming an ice palace becomes a location we can explore in a future chapter, and it contains an elusive door that leads to the man himself Gaster, finding it could lead to rescuing or helping Dess in some way if Gaster provides some assistance with his knowledge and unique status as being scattered across space and time. But how can we find this door, and what if it could do something else?
The first thing that I thought about when the thought of exploring an ice palace in a future chapter, is how and where would such a thing come to be? If it manifests from something in the light world being transformed by a dark fountain, it would make sense if this place or object was cold, and is a large enough feature of a whole room if we go by the logic dark worlds have functioned by before. The coldest places/things that come to mind to me are some kind of refrigerator. We've seen several already in the game, one in Kris's home, one in Asgore's place, and some fridges in Sans's shop. What's also interesting to me is two of these three locales are directly related to the eggs you obtain in both chapters. (If you want my opinion, I think the ice palace would take form in Sans's shop, since it has two refrigerators that take up more space, and it links Sans to Gaster just that much more) And this is where my little theory gets interesting.
To lay it out for you since you may have caught on to what I'm thinking, if by some circumstance Kris is able to obtain every egg given by the man behind the tree, and then deposit them somewhere in the light world, either that would be the key that enables Kris to find the door and enter it and make contact with Gaster. Or, even crazier idea here, these eggs hold not just a special connection to Gaster, but rather they are necessary to complete some sort of goal Gaster has that could be related to breaking free of his condition or even assist in breaking free of the Angel itself.
But wait, there's more! (Spoilers for Chrono Trigger I guess because I'm about to go on a tangent) I remember hearing about these eggs as a potential nod to Chrono Trigger, and I just could never get that out of my head, so this could just be me. To explain, the titular Chrono Trigger is itself an egg with special power, and you receive it in Chrono Trigger in a similar manner as Deltarune, from a mysterious man in a blank void of space (not to mention the location in Deltarune is also reminiscent of the place where the Chrono Trigger is used, as both feature a lone tree). And it only goes deeper. Who exactly is this mysterious man in Chrono Trigger? Well, it's revealed that he is the Guru of Time from the age of Antiquity, named Gaspar. That name sounds sort of familiar, doesn't it? Not to mention this Gaspar was involved in an experiment in search of infinite power that flung him across time. Not unlike how Gaster himself was shattered across space and time after falling into the CORE, which is also a huge source of energy. I hope I don't need to make the parallels any clearer. But what am I trying to say with all this stuff from a completely different game?
We all know Toby Fox was greatly influenced by Earthbound, but another iconic JRPG of that era was Chrono Trigger. I'm not going to pour over everything Toby Fox has said or done to find any other mentions of or references to Chrono Trigger though, so take all of these comparisons and extrapolation with a healthy serving of salt. But I don't think it's TOO out there to say that Toby may have also been inspired by that game, too.
I think it may be possible to extrapolate a few ideas from Chrono Trigger and apply them to Gaster and these eggs. Mainly that Gaster is giving you these eggs so something can be done with them that has to do with time, space, dimensions, darkness, etc. Now, nobody can definitively say what these eggs will do, if anything. Perhaps it will function as a way to "save" Gaster and return to his normal state or to save Dess, like how the Chrono Trigger saved Crono. (Spoilers for Chrono Cross too, i guess) Maybe it will grant passage to a special place where you can fight the Angel like how the Time Egg worked in Chrono Cross to let you fight the Time Devourer.
Who knows? Probably Toby Fox.
But I think this quote by Gaspar himself from Chrono Trigger sums up this whole egg business quite nicely: "It is pure potential. By unleashing a specific course of events, it can have a powerful effect on time."
For the location of the dark fountain... how about Ice-E's pizza? EVERYTHING COMES BACK TO ICE-E.
I'd love it if Deltarune ends up including some sort of device (like the Epoch in Chrono Trigger) to let you travel back to the previous chapters' Dark Worlds (without reopening the fountains) and do things you couldn't before using new items. That would be awesome!
Kris is an interesting name because Santa Claus can also be referred to as "Kris Kringle." Another Christmas related name (Kris-mas as well). And I say this because the members of Noelle's family's names are obviously all Christmas themed (Noelle, Rudolph, December, Carol (maybe)).

Edit: I think "the (fireshock) mage who leaves the party" might actually be Asriel, who's left to go to college. We know the Dreemurs can do fire magic, so I think it'd make sense if Asriel could use fire magic in the dark world too.
The name Skies Forever Blue, I think is a reference to the song “Pollyanna” a song that released with mother one (earthbound beginnings) so cool trivia 🙃

Saving Dess on a very difficult and glitchy quest? kinda reminds you about the Weird Route, doesn't it? while not exactly "glitchy" it certainly is difficult and it also changes some details in the Hometown slightly while not affecting the end of the chapter, this theory is certainly interesting to think about, If it ends up being true i wonder how it would play out.

Oh my, you really outdid yourself Jaru. This might be my new favorite theory of yours (except for Dark Knight Oberon Smog theory. I love that one). And this time it may actually have so much sense. (And all it took for creating this theory was seeing the new Toby song xDD) Creating a dark fountain inside the dark world. Getting lost in a "dark yet darker" place. I'm sure someone already noticed but the fountain in Ralseis place is made of "pure darkness" so maybe that's the place where Dess did it. Looking forward to more theories from you 💜

Been playing Deltarune again and honestly I think the Holidays are meant to parallel the Dreemurs and thus hint at who the final boss is. The Dreemurs lost their kid in Undertale and he ended up being the final boss, and the Holidays lost their kid who I personally think will end up being the final boss. December (if we accept the Skies forever blue theory that she tried to mess with the code after coming to understand the game) was confined by the rules of the game world and broke free for a single freedom based desire, much like all of the secret bosses. The SBs all try to break free from the game world because of a single freedom based desire that they went mad trying to accomplish. They are all found "out of bounds" in a way and were discarded in a way. If we accept the SFB theory, then December is the exact same. But different in that she was discard because of her freedom over the code of the game. The Knight has proven to have control over Dark Fountains, and whenever their activated the Dark World surrounding has lore to it already and in Ch.2 proves they're connceted for some odd reason. This can he explained bt December being in the code of the game, adding on to these dark worlds within it. Makes sense that she can hack Spamton to call for help because the Dark Worlds (by the logic of the darkness in the music video and the website) are "Dark" thus much closer to December than the Light world. The Lightners even fall into the Dark worlds whenever they're entered, which makes it make sense that the Knight would activate dark fountains; December is trying to bring someone closer and closer so she can finally escape. Spamton comments that the voice was calling to Kris, which is someone December is already familiar with, makes sense she would call out to them. This is what I think the Roaring truly is as well; Falling. The Light world will fall into the Dark world and everything will fall out of bounds... If December is insane as the other secret bosses because of her lack of freedom yet abundance in isolation, why wouldn't she want to cause the Roaring (if that's her goal)? If everything falls out of bounds; she won't have to be alone in the dark anymore. Don't forget; she's with us in the dark.
This is a personal theory, I'm all ears to others' opinions or thoughts :)

Got an epiphany while in the shower, the great place for ideas:
Taking from my theory that each chapters' guest party members are a fighter/mage duo, i noticed that, that pretty much also describes Kris' (and therefore our) main party members: Susie and Ralsei.
It was pretty strange to me that we were separated from our party, and then got another in Noelle, only to get the option of either lifting her up or sink her into becoming our weapon that we use to kill the other fighter, who was Berdly. But then it came to me:
If there's weird routes in the other chapters, and all of them focus on manipulating the mage into killing the fighter, why is that so? What if the possibility of the weird routes are actually grooming us, and KRIS, into one day manipulating the main mage Ralsei into killing the main fighter Susie?
It's pretty clear that Susie is the wild card in the game, we can't completely control her, she does as she pleases, and she's an inspiration for Kris to rebel against the SOUL. So maybe whatever is behind the curtains is trying to get us into breaking Kris into submission by manipulating us into breaking them by breaking other people, so when the REAL weird route, the one that's meant to go against the Delta Rune prophesy, they are sotraumatized that they will just proceed into pushing Ralsei into hurting their best friend, just like Noelle could no longer recognize Berdly.
I have NO IDEA if that's true or even remotely feasible, but I LOVE IT REGARDLESS! Such a fun idea! So dark! xD

For what other reason the weird route is in a game about being friends with everyone, but to build up to showing us the consequences of gamer mentality? I did not believe the theory that you were making in the beginning about the angel reseting time. But after this came up the angel theory seems to have more evidence for it.
Personal theory:
I have theory that faster is Toby fox because there outside of time and space of the game world and at the beginning of deltarune that could easily be Toby fox talking to you. When his twitter account was talking before chapter 1 it has the same font as the beginning of deltarue. Toby was sending out the messages to us to get to play deltarune and then talking to us once we open up the game.
Next up: "I AM TOBY FOX"
Somehow, this was more logical than I thought it would be and I actually believe the idea that Dess was trapped by opening a Dark Fountain in the Dark World. I don't agree with some parts of it, but that's more because of my speculation about Noelle rather than anything else. Great video Jaru! However, I'm still going to say "Oh man, wacky Jaru's got another theory about Kris. I bet he's gonna say Kris absorbed Dess's soul! Just like he said it happened to Asriel in his other theory. Oh Jaru, how many people is Kris gonna be possessed by at this rate? Are Chara and Gaster in there too? HA HA HA" because that's funny.
