Hope all is going well with your channel. We use to deliver a similar shotcrete mix for pools. It was a challenge because they wanted the mix stiff and would hold up our trucks for hours on-site. Only until we started using a hydration stabilizer in the concrete called MasterSet Delvo did the jobs go smoothly. Were you referring to Muriatic Acid? Yes, that stuff is no fun to work with undiluted and the don't breath in too deeply around it either. Have a great week and keep making the money!!
1. Congrats on your first shotcrete load. (You are lucky it’s not a scape and go 😢) 2. The pumper did not clear his lines out into your truck because shotcrete gets pushed by air so what he most likely did was blow out the lines! (It’s really loud when you’re at the other end of the lines and see everything blow out. They stuff small tennis sized foam balls to push all the mud out with very very big amounts of air pressure) 3. When doing shotcrete, as a precaution, leave the hopper very very full because the guy holding the hose blasting shotcrete can get thrown hard by the air hose if there’s pockets of air in the hopper since the shotcrete is so dry and clumpy. Hope these tips help!
@@Pall_Bearmasher do you hear yourself and how slow you sound? Its her first time doing shotcrete. Its COMPLETELY different than a regular pour 🤦♂️ stop trynna argue and sound tough, she aint gonna admire you, simp 🤡
Massive respect for you Lexie! Your generation dont want to graft, they just want to work from home on a laptop nowadays... you are beyond your years young woman and you will be hugely successful...I have zero doubt!
So cool Lexie. I just started as a mixer driver a couple weeks ago and I had to do shotcrete too. I’ll be going on my own this Monday and it’s a little nerve wrecking 😅. Your video makes me feel like it’ll be okay 😂
Hey Lexie, just found your channel today, you're doing an awesome job!. I used to be a Mixer driver here in the UK. They like the shotcrete mix a little drier than usual in order to make sure it sticks when they use it. This brings back fun memories for me, unfortunately my legs wouldn't let me keep doing the job lol keep up the good work!
I've been driving truck since I was 18 years old. I started driving over the road at 21 and did that for 5 years before going back to local trucking. eventually I switched from a tractor trailer to a triaxle dump truck and got into the construction end of trucking which is what I have been doing the last 15 years. the point of this is. over the years I have met a lot of very professional female truckers all who seemed to do their job with more care than most men drivers and Lexie sure seems to be that way too. and also she does it while being the most adorable female trucker I have ever seen. be careful out there on the highway's young lady
Just started my ready mix job at 21 years young I love it so far just being behind that wheel is kinda nerve racking but fun learning on shifting and going uphills in a 8 speed pray everyday before I go into work hopefully god continue to bless me and my little family I have since I was 16🙏🏼💰💪🏻
Good job hija I drove a mixer for a short period of time couldn't stand the job especially when they said I had to work the weekend. Watching your videos are cool 😎 just glad I'm not working there 😅 anymore
I laughed a bit when Lexie's path was blocked and she added that sound effect. It's those little additions where you know that was Lexie's doing. And of course it just wouldn't be a video without the magical way she manages to end the day in casual wear without getting her cloths messed up while all the other dudes are caked in it.
Lexie, I have a very similar method when rinsing down the hopper/chute/fins from awkward angles. I also hook my leg and foot around the railing in case I were to slip. Just another reason why I enjoy your content because it's relatable, and amusing to see us have similar habits to one another. Your work ethic is admirable, and there isn't really a good enough word for your beauty. Feeling the song vibes @16:17 😉. Keep on smiling pretty lady. 😊
This is just an amazing woman doing work like anyone and enjoying it. She will do well in life. Since beauty fades but these solid values stay for life.
Getting PTSD vibes - ugh the 1-2am dispatch jobs. Always downtown big city stuff. Cool but weird, working when the city is still asleep. Sometimes it was super fun, the entire mixer fleet doing rounds at 2am to the same job. And the piece sign from the pump dude, yea he knew he was being filmed lol.
Hi Lexi. Its nice to sit back and see what we actually do every day. I would suggest one thing, use a little more caution when cleaning your drum. Hanging over the rail like you were is pretty risky. just trying to help.
That’s a slump 4 to 5… you got me to think about becoming a ready mix driver. I went from driving a semi pulling a 53 foot trailer to a ready mix driver.
Hey Lexie. Hope you are doing well. Love your adventures. I love seeing videos of Southern California where I’ve never been. Just curious what is the average temperature of Los Angeles. You are a very hard worker and I look forward to watching your videos for years to come. God bless and be safe out there.

Hi Lexie! Usually shotcreters use their air compressor to clean the hoses. Also I hope you're wearing ear plugs around pumps. I'd sure hate to see a pretty girl like you wearing hearing aids! You're doing a great job, great job. 😊
Hilarious the pumper used 1980s technology to repair a piece of 2024 equipment. We would take a wire coat hanger to attach to the antenna on the tv to get better reception to view certain channels. Especially the UHF channels. Wild to see someone doing that these days😂🤣🤣
In the early part of Marine Boot Camp, for three days, those of us going to Electronics school were used to fix broken field radios. The antennae looked just like the one that guy rigged.
