I used to drive trucks for a roofing supply company and would unload it with a crane and would get so nervous when I would have to block the roads or one way streets. You can just feel the eyes staring a hole through your soul.

I've done some remote jobs down long, tight and rough roads.. But DAMN!😮A lever to control the drum Neat! Ours are all a control box in the cab and remote with Mix, Discharge, Rev up/down, shute up/down and some have pause for the drum (Super Helpful btw) Take care and be safe Lexi :) I enjoy your ready mix vid's.

Horses hate ready mix trucks, lol, think its the rotating drum that may throw them off and the air dryer can really scare em if it blows off beside them ...
I had someone else in the comments tell me to stop the drum from rotating next time, and that would’ve been a good idea, I’ll do it next time If i ever cross paths with a horse, but I think it’s also how loud the truck is but who knows , thank you for the comment

I’ve blocked roads with transfers, end dumps and mixers, never felt bad about it- not because of my character but because I have work to do and that’s how I earn my checks every week. It’s nothing personal, just have to keep the goal in mind and the big picture. People in California are just impatient whether it’s Northern or Southern California. You got this 👍

I've never used the cable setup for mixers. I've only used the joystick style of controller from McNeilus. Blowing up a pump kinda looks like a volcano erupting and ejecting lava everywhere.
I'm like you, I can't say no. I feel obligated to please others. But what I have noticed over the years is I always survive layoffs and Im always protected from everything by bosses. So whenever you get frustrated with yourself not being able to say no at work, remember that you're benefitting yourself in the long term.

We have that same problem in the Florida keys when they say 20+ that means 3 or 4 trucks here at Allkeys concrete there one rule once you turn on your truck, you don't turn it off till the end of the day
