60-90 minutes to unload before it gets super hot, it’s kinda hard for it to completely harden in your drum, I’ve never had it happen, it can harden faster if ur drum stops spinning
I was a concrete laborer for several years and the one thing I hated was when we were working in a location where you couldn’t fit a truck in and you had to do a shoot, pour into wheel barrels, and then push the concrete to the job site. Now that was fun lol

I blame the shotcrete you did a while back ago lol! It STICKS to your fins so bad 😢 .. You can also help clean your fins a bit by having it full rev and driving on first gear for like a minute. Just like clothes on a washer, when it goes on the spin cycle all the clothes stick to the walls. Same when you have concrete stuck on them! The mud will slide off the fins and stick to the walls the faster you spin the drum 🤓
If going to a pea pumper after having drum chipped, please rinse drum with water. Those little pieces of concrete will plug a 2 inch pump hose like you wouldn't believe!😢

@@tysonjohnson2682 I was quoted about 1750 for a full 10 yards. and i was told that pump was about 300 total. I think its about 250 for the pumper and 10 bucks per yard pumped. Finishers are about 350 each . in case anyone is wondering.

Hey I always wondered, how long do you have once you have a full load of concrete before you run the danger of it setting in the drum.
I'm mean hardening in the drum
