It's the invincible frame, when you touch the monsters, your body will blink for a short time and during that short time, you don't take any damage, even the spikes
Holding the dash button down constantly while lightly tapping jump will do that. You can do it on walls, the concept is the same. Holding dash on walls is God Mode. >_>

TAS is the quantum physics of gaming, its laws aren't applicable on classical video game physics in reality.

its not a cheat to attack that fast, if you press attack and left repeatedly while being able to slow down the framerates of the game you can make it so that zero attacks like 5attacks in 1 second.
there should be a new type of run called "enemy speed run" where you have to kill all the enemies. for games that regenerate, you just have to kill the enemies at least once
