Oh my gosh, my bedroom door knob quit on me. I’m 67 and lost my husband this year. Thanks to this young man, I have a new door knob and did it all myself. Yeaaaa.

I was a bit nervous to replace my door knob, but your video has shown me that it isn't as difficult as I feared. I agree with others who’ve posted. Thank you so much! I haven’t had to do this in a long time and you’ve made it super simple. Our doorknob going into our garage has gotten tweaked. It only turns to the right which is frustrating so I’m taking it apart. If I cannot get it lined to make it happy, I’ll just replace it thanks to your video. So although you did this 10 years ago, thank you!!! It’s still useful in February 2024!!🎉😂

I loved this video. I have a house that needs a lot of tiny repair stuff (too little to hire someone) but I know almost nothing when it comes to handyman skills. YOU made this SUPER simple. The SAD part is when I looked at your other playlists and videos hoping for learning a bunch more home repair lessons, this seems to be the only one :( I wish you would do an entire playlist of LOTs of other handyman lessons for total beginners just like this one...pretty please. :)

Thanks for your help I'm 73yr lady I had called the office to replace my.door knob so they told me they weren't able to do the maintenance because it was not their door knob I bought mine because the one they replaced has no key lock on it because of my security I went ahead and bought one and replace it myself. So now i just need to watch your video and do the door knob myself . Thanks again helped alot not an issue to replace n do the maintenance myself. Amen

I'm living alone & suddenly I couldn't open my door. My doorknob not working. So I decided to removed the screws & was able to open the door. And I having a hard time putting it back since I couldn't figure it out so I called my boyfriend like okay he knows this one , he's a man and he just literally said. "it's already broken. You already removed the screws ,you can't fix it back" and me here I am watching your video and was able to do it on my own. You're a life saver! Thank you

I had a kwikset; you're constantly changing batteries, which do not last long and then one day the pad quit working altogether and I couldn't get in the door since there wasn't a key!!! Last time for me buying one of those. Love my Kevo on the other door.

I am NOT a mechanical person...but I was able to change both the regular knob and the deadbolt lock on my front door after watching your video. (Although, I will admit, it took longer than you!). Thank you so much for the clear demonstration!

I know this is an older vid but today it empowered me and I have changed a few bedroom door knobs as I plan on renting a room in my house. This was the best answer for security. Can't wait until payday to remove and install 2 more knobs. Thank you!

Thank you so much!!! My doorknob screws fell out, so I took the doorknob off thinking the deadbolt would be enough until a sparrow came through and was flying in my house. I got a doorknob and by your instructions I got it on! You can teach a old dog new tricks!!! LOL!!
