Thanks Red for suggesting we get Buckeye to react to this awesome music video. I think this is such a great first music video for a band that is bringing rock back. The Warning do such a great job warning the world of the problems they see, with music that is infectious. I admit it, I am addicted. No need for rehab.

i always wonder how many others notice the number on the indoctrination pod the baby is placed into... many of us think it may be a shout out to YES and their 1983 album _"90125"_ which was released two years after Yes broke up... you can find a few links to that album in its entirety... not really a music video as it is only the music but you can also find OMVs for some of the songs on that album... the OMV for the first song on that YES album also has a similar theme as this video with "culprits" and "recovery agents"... the video and whole album is a great trip back in time...
so back to this original video by DPA/TW... yes, the imagery is awesome and extremely thought provoking... there's a lot being said in there... one of the main things is about taking a leap of faith and leaving things behind... this is absolutely a track about social media, technology, and how they affect people in ways they don't know or understand... in this case, everyone is so wrapped up in their devices and social media that they cannot see what is going on around them... thus the blindfolds... notice, too, the colors used... when someone takes their blindfold off, the world lights up in the prettier colors of reality...
the video was nominated for and won numerous awards back in 2017...

Written by two teenagers and one pre teen, absolutely mind blowing at just how accurate of a social commentary they were able to create!
Ale bass player was in the 5th grade and Pau (Drummer) was in 7th grade when they wrote this and recorded it. This Video won them 4 music awards also
Writing by pre- and midteens - this song makes you think! Love the guitar riff and everything else.

I'm not on any social media other than YT and I have as many notifications as possible turned off on my phone (only calls and alarms can interrupt me). People will text me and get confused when I don't respond for 4 hours! Even so I spend way too much time looking at screens, I daren't loosen those restrictions.
The Warning are a live band, but I'll always stand up for this early MV and now their latest, _Qué_ _Más_ _Quieres,_ which I recommend for your consideration - scripted and co-directed by Pau!

I love how they showed him becoming invisible to others once the blindfold was removed. This happens all the time. Another reason todays young people feel the need to be on their social media all the time. Crazy how good this MV was. So on point. Such a strong social and political statement from three young girls.

Great reaction and happy you made time for this song/video. I love this song and it’s so true. I rather be outside doing real things than be glued to my phone or other peoples lives through social media. I love fishing, hiking and all types of outdoor activities. I love this band. This song is from their first studio album released when Daniela was 17, Paulina 15, Alejandra 12, so they wrote the songs to the album about a year earlier.
I'm like you. I don't live on my phone or computer. During the work week I rarely turn on my home laptop. When I go for a run or the gym I do not take my phone or listen to music. Running is my "Me Time" to get away from the noise of the world and let my thoughts roam free. I see so many people in the gym still tied to their phones. They do a set then their face is plastered to the phone, or they're sitting on a bench talking. I can do three sets before before they start their second set. The thing is they take up a piece of equipment while they sit on their butt doing nothing.
Pantera, eh? How about Slayer? Check out Mad Ball (Look My Way) and Pro-Pain (Pro-Pain), good hard core albums. 😎👍
Another great point the song makes is showing how we are sitting right next to each other and never have a conversation except with our phones. The two kids sitting at a playground on their phones is a powerful message!

You nailed it. Thanks for reacting so fast!! It was from their first album. This album and the ERROR album really tackle social media and Gen Z just believing everything they see on their phones. Basically, stop letting the internet tell you what to think. Do your own research, stop being sheep. The girls were 17, 15, and 12 when this album came out. TW, wise beyond their years!

Not replying immediately to texts - I understand what you are saying by "not living on your phone." I had to tell people that I check my messages every morning, and just because I own a phone doesn't mean others own my time.
A 13 and 15 yr old wrote this....😮smh
