Why bands like this don't perform in big arenas is the question that probably all of us have in mind. The sad answer is likely because some talentless wannabe stars and their brainwashed followers occupy them. 😈🤷🏻♂ _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. That's not a capo on Hara-chan's bass, although it looks like one. It's a fret-wrap to deaden unwanted vibration - I have them on my guitars too. This is one of my total favourite Nemophila songs, and I think it's one of the songs where they're really going to miss SAKI 😢, and one of the reasons I really hope they get a replacement guitar player to work with Hazuki..
Tamu, the drummer, does most of the backing vocs in live shows - largely because the other players are often away from their mics as they move around a lot. She also does some feature vocals - 'Breaking Out' and their cover of MTH's 'Zetsubou Billy' come to mind.
OIRAN (o-i-ra-n) is an interesting subject for a song. I am forever fond of the in-studio demo video - ruclips.net/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/видео.html HARA-CHAN's bass is wearing a velcro strap for damping open strings.
this video is from their first live performance. this venue is by no means small and is a dream location for many rock bands. anyway, Oiran is a high class prostitute. of course, it would be different from western context. Oiran is the title of a special person with the highest education in Japan, as well as musical and artistic talent. many Japanese people admire the Oiran parade and went to see it at least once. ruclips.net/video/oJwwLLh6Y_o/видео.htmlfeature=shared
The two guitarists do a how to play this YT young guitarist magazine Oiran will find it for you its well worth looking at if you play. This was there first single and has never got tired for me .On Tamu drummer she does a lot of backing singing live and is a great singer on her own .Waiting with anticipation to see what they come up with now as a 4 piece.
HEY!! You finally got to Oiran. Knew you eventually get to it. You are very busy haha. Anyway this was actually the first song they recorded as a band. I love all their songs but this is my favorite and it is usually their show closer. Such a kick ass song. going to sound a bit different in the future with just one guitar but they played it on a live stream a week or so ago with just the four of them and it still kicked ass and Haraguchi-san added some bass solos to fill in. It was actually pretty damn cool. Had me smiling. Still missed that 2nd guitar because so used to it but I still loved it :) 🤘🤘🤘
I don't think Haraguchi-san's bass is capoed, here. She sometimes uses a fret wrap for string damping. Not necessarily in this song - the wrap looks to be pushed past the nut
The last 2 letters in Nemophila are "LA" La-la-la-la-la-la How do you get "lia" out of that? You say you love them, but you don't like them enough to pronounce their name right. NEM-OH-FEE-LA
Bro, I've never heard their name said outloud, and I won't remember every band members name and I may mispronounce the band name, but that doesn't mean I don't like their music. Do you know how many songs people like and can't remember who it's by or what is called? Give me some grace, I've not heard their name said out loud even one time. I still love their music though. Much love ❤️
@@Amiekinz4ever Watch the live video of Oiran from Yaon no Naon. The legendary Keiko Terada pronounces it when she introduces them. Basicly Neh-mo-fee-la. Fee-la like Phila from Philadelphia.

Tamu on drums is a force of nature.. Drums, Piano, Keys, Guitar, Xylaphone and Saxaphone.. And she is also a Mum with two children under 5..
& bass & vocals😊

While I like your reactions, it's almost like you deliberately try to mispronounce the band's name. It certainly doesn't help them "blowup."
I don't do it on purpose, I've never heard the bands name pronounced and so I'm doing my best to get it right.
