I’ve watched a bunch of basketball and a lot of really good basketball players over the years and I have NEVER watched a great basketball player with an uglier game than LeBron. Everything LeBron does looks like it’s “hard” to do. It’s not smooth, it’s not fluid. It just never looks pleasing to the eyes. He is skilled, but he is also not that skilled if that makes sense. He has no way of getting around a one on one unless it’s thru another player. I mean, that’s cool too but it’s not.
That's one of the things I can't stand about him. He's not enjoyable to watch at all. Players like Jordan, Kobe, Iverson made even a boring game more interesting to watch. I'd watch them even though I didn't like their teams.
What do you mean it's not NECESSARILY more impressive to go to 8 straight finals & not winning compared to going to 6 finals & winning 6 ?? It's not impressive at all ... not in the least !!
3 finals!? That bubble doesn't count! Matter of fact, the GS and San Antonio finals looks suspect. I think they were fixed. Steph Curry out if character and Tim Duncan being taken out at crunch time.
It's kinda easy to call him overated. Steph is over LeBron for this era no doubt. Stats are not the decider of a great. IT'S THE SHOWING UP IN THE BIG MOMENTS! 4 Chips in 21yrs and at least 2 of them wasn't made possible by him. Nobody respects the bubble deal.

Lebron James is SUPER, HYPER AND ULTRA OVERRATED Before handchecking was curtailed as indicated by Vice President of the NBA Stu Jackson, in the 2004-2005 Season, Lebron James only averages 20.9 points per game taking 19 shots per game when rounded off, shooting at only 41.7 percent from the field which is VERY MEDIOCRE! But all of a sudden when the handchecking rule was curtailed severely starting in the 2004-2005 season, his number skyrocketed from 20.9 ppg to 27.2 ppg shooting at 47 percent from the field compared to only 41.7 (42%) from the field. His career high in 2004 was only 41 points against the Nets, but the next year, the beginning of an offensive friendly era, his career high was 56 points against the Bucks. Kenny "The Jet" Smith said some gangsta in either 2017 or 2018. He said the reason why "Father Time" hasn't caught up with Lebron at this stage is BECAUSE OF THE RULES THAT MAKES IT EASY FOR GUYS LIKE HIM ON THE OFFENSIVE SIDE OF THE FIELD! Kobe Bryant FINALLY admitted that Michael Jordan played in a Smashmouth Defensive Era. But in Kobe's first 5 years, Kobe played in that era also from 1996-2001. Even before the 2004-2005 season you was still able to play stiff defense even tho they instituted that silly 3 second defensive violation rule. Joe Johnson, the former Shooting Guard for the Atlanta Hawks said that the rules of this era BENEFITS SHOOTERS LIKE HIM because they don't have to worry about hard fouls and handplay of defense especially in a one on one isolated situation.
If Kobe or LeBron is top 3 in anyone's eyes over KAJ, Bill Russell, or Magic then yes they're the most overrated players ever. Cause neither of them are on the Mt Rushmore of basketball.
Lebron was an NBA project gone wrong. The association and media refuse to abort this mission it seems because they’ve put so much into this project. Plus the overgrown baby now has so much power, that he can control how his narrative is projected

@sarahgregory935 if he wasn't allowed to travel, charge, carry, flop and get phantom fouls damn near every play his carear would look EXTREMELY different. But of we include all that and the steroids and the stat padding and buy into the false narratives then yes he's top 20.
This is some of the dumbest shxt I've ever heard...he got drafted to one of the worst teams that any player could be drafted to and had all of the pressure and hype that any person could ask for but he still produced. During his career he has won 4 Rings, 4 MVPs and 4 Finals MVPS which is more than any other player in the last 25 years...
Dudes not even best player in his draft. Wade did what he couldnt in Cleveland. So he ends up joining wade. So he can win his first champ. Anyone who crowns himself as the king is never really the king. Never seen a player that needed so much help from the refs. If the refs did their jobs properly, dude would have so much travel calls, that he would of just been a good athletic player that had good vision. Dudes also clearly taking steroids. Theres a reason his hairline is messed up. Would be my life that his juiced up. He says his spends a mill on food a year, to still play like his in his 20s, late into his 30s. Playing 80 something games a yr, for that long. And his only slowing down now. Its not possible.
Now that we learned MJ stats were padded looks like he is the most overrated player but don't worry lebron will be the all time scoring leader for the rest of your life 😎
Michael Jordumb is actually the most overrated player that is boosted by Stern's marketing. Numbers show it. His scoring titles? Alongside it were the fact that he had the most bricks in those seasons. DPOY? He bought those stats from their statkeeper as proven. And if you really watched the games (which you could still do now), you will see how dumb Michael Jordumb on the court taking dumb shots. His IQ is so low that he even argued with Phil when Phil wanted to implement triangle offense. Plus, JorDUMB only started winning after rules were bent in her favor 'cause of Stern, plus when his team was the only STACKED team in the watered down decade. He even struggled against the 2 man team Jazz despite all the advantage. LMAO. Without Stern, during JorDUMB's prime, he was exposed in the '92 Olympics where it was shown that he was the 9th best player in the team, struggling against countries who are not developed in the game of basketball.

Lebron james is way better than mifraud, michael jordan never passed the ball even if he wanted too , name one player that’s almost 40 and running around like he’s 20. Lebron is the only player in history to win 3-1 comeback. Lebron will have the greatest career of all time and he already has currently, Lebron already has the most points for only playing for around 22 years. How is he all talk when he averaging 24 ppg and is close to 40 rn.
D wade never made bron, Lebron legit won 2 championships without d wade. Even without them he would still be goat. also curry never made durant, durant moved there for a better team he could not hold his own with just russ. if durant stayed he could have atleast won 1 chip with russ if they both developed to their prime. This makes no sense if curry made durant either becuase durant averaged more ppg then curry

Arguably one of the most athletic soccer/football players ever & he maintained that consistency until he was about 38 (Personal manners took a hit on his mental state).
Other than that, we don’t know for sure. Keep in mind, the technology players use has also improved. Kevin Durant is 36 moving better than 99% of players his age, even after an achilles tear. But i don’t hear anything about him 👀
Curry is also in his late 30s; still as fast as ever.
It’s clear that the very best of the best within the league, across any sport (Brady, bolt, phelps) maintain their consistency, even in advancing age. LeBron is no exception.
No far fetched claim of PED usage or comparing him to players from 20 years ago is going to change that.
Used to have him in my top 5.. but in the last handful of years I have picked up on his mentality and tactics.. I don't know where to put him now. trying to weasel his way into goat status through narritives. He wants to make it all about stats and not winning. Stuffing stats that have no value so he can be praised. Far far from the mentality of a great competitor. He's way down the list
Thanks for coming around. He realized awhile ago that he can’t make a name for himself by winning so he’s been a professional stat padder since.

@daniellu2196 those insane superteams and STILL needed the refs and some miracle shots by his teammates to win!
Overrated
There's a reason why the early 90's Buffalo Bills aren't considered to be a dynasty.
What do you mean it's not NECESSARILY more impressive to go to 8 straight finals & not winning compared to going to 6 finals & winning 6 ?? It's not impressive at all ... not in the least !!

Bigger players and mire athletic players and u couldn't carry tge ball and travel constantly

Penultimate, if you can't include all of the data and intangibles and leave your personal opinions completely out, then why did you even do this post
Now that we learned MJ stats were padded looks like he is the most overrated player but don't worry lebron will be the all time scoring leader for the rest of your life 😎
MJ’s stats were not padded .. you definitely are a Klutch 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

@@woodardfrom3
Yes, because it's not based on actual evidence. Most haters' opinions are purely subjective and unsupported. Their primary support is the "eye test," which science has discarded as unreliable for good reasons. The "eye test" assumes that everyone sees events the same way, from similar perspectives, and that our visual information processing is infallible and complete. However, refinement is necessary. Only after raw information is transformed into something more objective can it be effectively analyzed.
