the way Jane Doe is so interested and like, in everything, I dont know how to explain it, she's like a toddler with immense knowledge on how the world works
I love the scene where Ocean calls her 'a thing' before quickly saying that she loves her, making Jane doe reach her arms out for a hug as Ocean runs away
For some reason every instance of Jane doing the backup dances for everyone elses songs with the same expression scratches an itch in my brain I didn't know I had. That one section of Talia and the choreo at the end Noel's Lament especially.
I like Jane. She reminds me of a white dove with her head movements and dark dark eyes. Her flight not only represents how the track of the cyclone went, but also how light and feathery she might be.
I love how her movements are so rigged and choppy because she’s trying to balance her head and I absolutely love the detail that she bobbles her her when she walks because it’s her dolls head so it likely isn’t attached well to say the least but it’s just the little detail that are added to the character that make me love it more.
5:08 the way mischa starts leaning over like to stop jane from grabing the cupcake before constance blows off the candle so she didn't burn herself is so cute
Guys breaking news, I just realized no parents ever showed up to identify Jane (Penny Lamb) because during the events of Legoland the musical, Penny Lambs parents were sent to PRISON for growing pot on a hippy commune. They couldn’t have come to identify her. The only person who would’ve realized she was gone would’ve been Ezra lamb, her little brother.
@Coraline_luvva24 It's another musical the creators of Ride the Cyclone had made years before this one. Penny and Ezra's parents didn't let them leave the commune and called the outside world Legoland. The events of the musical was Penny and Ezra sneaking out to see 'Legoland' and getting into all kinds of hijinks that ended in the commune's discovery and their parents arrest.
I might be reaching here but i’m really sad at the idea that Jane is freaked out by the lions just moving on from the murder of their kids when she is the only non-identified kid who died, like does she worry that her family didn’t care enough to report her missing? To check her body for any sign? To bother giving her a funeral or reuniting her with her head? Is she projecting her own fears onto the animal kingdom or was it just a random fact that freaked her out?
(Spoilers) Penny Lamb is actually the protagonist from another play Legoland. Legoland explains that her and her brother were raised in a hippie commune before their parents were arrested for possession and distribution of marijuana, so the two children transferred to Uranium City. It’s theorized that Ride the Cyclone takes place shortly after Penny Lamb came to the school and joined the choir, which why none of the other kids or teachers knew her. So it wasn’t necessarily that her parents didn’t care about her enough to look for her when she died, it was that they literally had no way of knowing what happened to her and couldn’t because they were IN JAIL. But I’m sure with no memory, Jane Doe probably assumed that her family was capable of doing so and simply didn’t :(((
Jane Doe messes me up so bad because you know she probably didn't go to that school because schools would have records of children. That means she was abandoned at that amusement park and even when she was found no one claimed her. Whoever left her at that park never planned on picking her up
Yeah that is a thing I've been thinking about. Surely they'd have records of all the kids in the choir. They were able to get in contact with the parents of the other five after all. But nobody came for her, so clearly they hadn't been able to contact anyone related to her.

OOHHHHHH my god i just realized the lionness/lion catchphrase could be reflective of jane's actual family :(. my entire thoughts on this: -jane's parents were in a bad relationship/ loveless marriage and just had jane to have kids -after they had jane, her mother stopped sleeping with her father since she didn't love him -this made her (possibly abusive) father angry, and maybe he forced jane out of the house, so she joined the choir to have some people to be with -and then her parents never claimed her body bc they didnt care about her :( esp her father since it means her mother would be sleeping with him again. with no regard to his once living child. :(
I know she doesn't remember anything, but surely she isn't a blank slate. Not truly. She has very specific knowledge of animals, she makes references to Christianity, and she has an attachment to green eyes. It's not much, but it's something. Perhaps some details from her life may still linger.
Spoilers for both Ride the Cyclone and Legoland: Penny Lamb is both the name of the lead in the writer's previous play, Legoland, and Jane Doe's true name, hinting she may be the same person. Penny in Legoland's backstory is that she was raised in a hippie commune until it was shut down and her parents arrested by the police due to the planting, use, and selling of drugs. She's then forced to go to a Catholic school... like the one Jane Doe is in. My interpretation is that if it's the same character, then the catchphrase may reflect how Penny's parents may have cared more about the commune and their drugs than her.
Jane Doe is adorable, her movements always remind me of birds like pidgeons, because she moves so slow and the way she moves her head, IDK if im crazy but she gives me those vibes.
Jane was the character that made me realise that if I saw me as a character, they would 100% my my favourite character Which is funny because I'm 100% my least favourite person
In her song (ballad of jane doe) sorry if this is gonna be sad or if you knew this before but I think that her song's high notes are her screaming as she fell off the rollercoaster.
I can't help but wonder if her appearance was inspired by the movie Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. In it, Bette Davis plays a deranged old woman who used to be a child stage performer in the 1910s. She's so obsessed with "the good old days" of her childhood stardom that she still dresses like she did back then when she was a little girl: frilly white dresses, excessive stage makeup, wearing her now white hair in old fashioned ringlets, etc. She even still has dolls of herself that were made when she was still a child star. Coincidentally, her character's name is Jane Hudson. However, Jane Doe acts nothing like Jane Hudson.
I can’t help but wonder if the Penny/ Jane has Autism head canon is true, that the reason she had her doll with her at the fair in the first place is because the doll is her comfort blanket (though in this case toy). I know not people who have Autism are the same but I have one who I bring with me if going somewhere and I’m nervous. So if she does have Autism and that is the case she probably brought her doll with her because this was probably the first time she went to the fair and maybe the first fair she’s ever gone to and needed something familiar to help her feel less scared. Just a thought.
It would also explain why she hides her face all the time when she does pop up in the fair footage. Because a good amount of people with autism have anxiety.
I love the way Jane enters when she’s first introduced. The way she moves seems like animalistic, which just makes her seem even more spooky and mysterious

I mean, she can’t even remember who she is, so if she is part of the choir, the others probably just got their memory of her erased too. @@BootheBlackMoth But there isn’t a recording of it available as far as I’m aware. The only way to experience the other production, called Legoland, is to purchase the script.
For my Jane doe/penny lamb dream costume I really want a white Apollo shirt with rainbow suspended dress with white tights and black doll shoes, so for my hair and face I’ll do dark makeup because I have dark skin but for my hair I would wear a wig with black hair with rainbow dye on the bottom of her hair and a little pulley string in her back, Plus sliver hoop earrings.
she’s not actually Penny Lamb in this form, she has none of the memories or experiences of Penny Lamb therefore she wouldn’t react to things the same was as Penny Lamb would
FUN FACT THAT I NOTICED!! Okay so jane moves her head like a bird would, more specificly, a chicken. In the ballad of jane doe she says "I hear the anguish of the streets" which is her talking about how when she was beheaded, she was still alive and could hear her classmates dieing around her. When a Chicken is beheaded its still alive for a while, WHICH IS WHY SHE MOVES LIKE A CHICKEN
When a lioness has children, she stops making love to the lion. This makes the lion jealous, sometimes so jealous he eats the children. You'd think this would make the lioness angry, far from it. They start making love again as if the children never existed.

"Oh, it's the new birthday song."
"Did your parents sing it for you?"
"No, dear. A very special group of people did. I don't really remember them, but they're always near and dear to my heart..."
"Why are you crying, mommy? Are you sad?"
"I-it's nothing, sugar cloud. Go to bed now, it's late."
"But I wanted to play some more!"
"You'll play more tomorrow, okay? We'll go to the fall fair. You can bring your dolly. It'll be a great day! Now, close your green eyes."
"The greenest eyes!"
"Right. The greenest eyes in the world."
_kiss_
"Good night, mommy!"
"Good night, Savannah."
This is adorable
And now I wanna cry,it's so cute
Omg its 1am and now im crying thanks
Jane Doe reminds me of the TBH creature ngl
Good old Dane Joe.
ALSO THE WAY SHE REFERENCES “JOHN DOE” TWICE IN HER SONG.. LEGOLAND EZRA REF? IS THAT WHAT SHE MEANS BY JOHN DOE..
Is it just me during the bday scene, there should be like no reason for an adult can be so cute.
I’ve heard people say Penny Lamb is from somewhere else and now I’m even more confused then I was trying to figure things out without listening to the soundtrack
Penny Lamb is from another production called Legoland.
@@wholetmeonhere ah-
@@BootheBlackMoth But there isn’t a recording of it available as far as I’m aware. The only way to experience the other production, called Legoland, is to purchase the script.
Jane doe dancing at 3:20 is almost the same as Jd dancing in shine a light
I love her 💜
For my Jane doe/penny lamb dream costume I really want a white Apollo shirt with rainbow suspended dress with white tights and black doll shoes, so for my hair and face I’ll do dark makeup because I have dark skin but for my hair I would wear a wig with black hair with rainbow dye on the bottom of her hair and a little pulley string in her back, Plus sliver hoop earrings.
It wasn't in this video, but don't forget the iconic "Fornication Under Consent of the King!"
Damn it! I should’ve added that! 😭
She reminds me of a bird
she’s not actually Penny Lamb in this form, she has none of the memories or experiences of Penny Lamb therefore she wouldn’t react to things the same was as Penny Lamb would
Jane Doe is my religion.
When a Chicken is beheaded its still alive for a while, WHICH IS WHY SHE MOVES LIKE A CHICKEN
where do you find the clips? I’ve been trying to find slime tutorials of the roller coaster 👁💧👄💧👁
I just realized that the cupcake eh3 was holding was the cupcake mentioned earlier hy karnak as ine of the prizes

When a lioness has children, she stops making love to the lion. This makes the lion jealous, sometimes so jealous he eats the children. You'd think this would make the lioness angry, far from it. They start making love again as if the children never existed.
you didn’t include it but when she goes into the light she tries to grab ricky’s hand 😭😭😭😭 she didn’t want to go alone.
